Fits very true to fix for me anyway. I love rag wool and buy it when I can find it. To me this is a great sweater.

My 1963 house has leaky doors, full length glass on the entire east side of the living room, a typically unlit fireplace, and is kept at 67 F. degrees in winter. This sweater keeps me warm during periods of inactivity in the house. It fits well under a 3XLT thermal lined canvas hooded jacket which breaks the Kansas wind. It is perfect in the car or with light outdoor activity. It is bulky but seems to breathe. Tight fitting jackets or normally tailored suit or sport coats may not fit well over this sweater. I will probably purchase one or two more. Thanks again to LL Bean for keeping me warm and making 3XL sizes.

Got this for my hubby's birthday and he loves it! It's soft and pure wool. The only negative for me ( being a knitter) is that the collar is done in three pieces so there are two seams either side of the neck. In a perfect world the collar would be seamless but it doesn't bother him. I got a large and he is a 43" chest and fits perfect, the suggested size was medium but it would have been too small.

This wool cardigan is almost like the one we have owned for over 30 years and that finally wore out. I am very pleased with the fit and the cozy feel.

Fit perfectly out of the box. Warm to wear. I would buy it again , but it should last for many seasons!

This sweater is good-looking and very comfortable. My 82-year-old husband loves it. When he's wearing it, he says it feels like a warm hug.I only wish it didn't require hand-washing as the fabric is quite thick and heavy, and it will probably take a long time to air dry.

When I look for a quality product that is true to size and fit, I go to two stores, L.L.Bean and Carhardt. I know what to expect and have not been disappointed yet.

Fit is perfect for my height and weight. Not a baggy article of clothing and not slim either. Wouldn't call itchy but has that typical wool feel against the skin. Comfortable and warm and looks great.

A wonderfully cozy sweater! Bean quality in a cardigan that is not too heavy...not too warm....just right to take away the chill and lounge around my apartment. Fitted enough not to be baggy, but perfectly comfy. I look forward to many winters with this one, as a staple in my wardrobe, along with jeans or cords.

6'1" and 220 lbs - the Large Tall fits well. Didn't hit word count so this sentence is just filler.

I love this sweater! It is nice and thick, comfortable and looks great! Perfect for bundling up in on a cold night. At 6' and 270 I ordered the 3X size. It is big and comfy and keeps me warm!
