After wearing these for a couple weeks the pants ripped. I am not surprised. As the amount of lint left every time I took them off. I would expect better quality for the price. I would not recommend purchasing these.

Could not believe the amount of lint coming off these pajamas. I washed them and put through several rinses and dried on low. But still a lot of lint. Very disappointed in this product

I am extremely disappointed with this order. I ordered these pajamas as a Christmas gift for my son, and had his name embroidered. This was done sloppily: his name is not centered and the collar flap hides the first 3 letters of his name. This is not what I expect from LL Bean.

SIGNIFICANT lint issue. Washed 3 times separately. Still major problem Put in dryer & lint filter chucked full. Had to hand remove lint outside. Most in the pockets.

Not like prior flannel pajamas purchased. Washed 3 times before wearing, & pilled & linted beyond belief! Would not recommend these pajamas. I hope they bring back the quality of past purchases!

I have purchased these pajamas for several years but recently the company has changed the item for the worse. Most annoying is that they shed excessive lint, especially in the wash. I made the mistake of washing them with other clothes the first time and the rest of the wash was covered in lint from the pj's. Even drying them did not remove the lint. I ended up washing everything again - without the pajamas. Still some clothes had lint on them. In addition, the care label and an extra button are sewn into the back seam on the bottoms - just where they will be most annoying. Those I had to cut out. Also the bottoms have an elastic waist that is way to small and tight. Plus they have a waist cord to tie off in addition to the tight elastic. Talk about overkill. Finally, the bottoms have two side pockets, very convenient if you want to carry your car keys to bed. I certainly hope that the company returns to the style and sizing of the earlier product that was so satisfactory.

When designing pajamas think very carefully about the neck collar. In this case L.L. Bean put a full notched collar on the top pajamas. When sleeping it presses uncomfortably against my neck while resting on my pillow. Nobody wears a tie to sleep, get rid of the stiff notched collar. Traditional pajamas NEVER have collars. They're usually collar-less with a comfortable opening for the head and a double-stitched lined edge. Sometimes a three inch slit in the front with a couple flat buttons is added for ease of removal.

Flannel fabric was surprisingly thin. Seam at arm tore after no more than 10 wearings. Would not purchase.

Been buying these for years for my husband. They are so much thinner and cheaper now I think it's disgusting that they have the nerve to charge the price for these. We used to love the nice warm flannel but it is not that way any longer. LLBeans quality has gone down hill big time. They do it gradually so that people do not notice as much. I am through purching their cheaply made clothing.

A leg seam split the first time these were worn, so we're sending them back. :(

THESE SHED WORSE THAN A LONG HAIR CAT. THE BOTTOMS FIT BUT THE TOP WAS ABOUT A SIZE AND A HALF TOO BIG.

Quality is nowhere near what it used to be, material is so thin you can see through it. Maybe okay for summer, useless for winter warmth. Same lousy quality can be found for a lot less money.

My husband's pajamas were far too long. They had to be shortened by 4 inches. The fabric is also thinner than for other pajamas bought before.

It is a war material but it sheds fabric constantly. After the first wash I had to get the help of a professional service to clean the dryer/ I have since washed it 6 times and have continued to get heavy discharge. I don't recommend this flannel PJ

I've been buying flannel pajamas from LL Bean for year. I ordered a pair of these current pajamas and am sending them back. I am 100% disappointed. The pajamas for years have had an elastic waist, which was perfect. Whoever designs things now went wild. These pajamas have an elastic waist and a drawstring and a button. I just want eleastic. They went overboard and I am returning them. I will hope they bring back the old style. Dissapointed. Jim A.

The pajamas at first shed small clots of dark lint all over the place, rug sheets, bathroom tile. I washed and dried them once; no help. I washed and then put them through the dryer 3 times - no help, lint trap full. Then I took an entire day and put them through the dryer 7 times - finally the lint trap contained much less (but not none) lint and I called it a day. The pajamas still shed lint, not a lot, but more than is acceptable. The supplier should be discontinued.

After 3 washings, garments still leave tons of lint. I wonder how thread bare they will be after 6 washings. Buy at your own risk. Remember, lint is very flammable. Clean your clothes dryers meticulously...including beyond the lint filter.

I buy many things from LLBean. I have been very pleased with the overall quality of your products. However my order no. 010222046116 Scotch Plaid PJ's have been very disappointing. I have washed them several times but they just keep shedding fuzz balls. They make my bed very unattractive and they are difficult to sweep from my rug. They have been reduced to backup status, I do not like to wear them because they make such a mess. Please review what vendor you bought the material from and consider dropping them. I am not looking for compensation nor return authorization. Just sharing my findings.

The pants have a seam right up the middle of the seat...like a thong...and should be one pieced like Weldon, Diplomat and other pajama makers made their pants. Also, the waist is tight and isn't adjustable. It should be open from the fly to the top of the waist, with a draw string. The top is very nice.

Although the quality and fit equals the previous purchases of this item, when I put it in the wash with other clothes, black was deposited all over them and was also deposited on my underwear while I wore them.

Item was full of balls of lint. Pants were so long, you were walking on them. I am still wiping up the lint in my washer, on the bed, all over the floor. There was a ball of yarn inside the packaging. Have never experienced anything like this.

The first time I washed these pajamas there was so much lint in the washer and dryer that I had to stop and clean out the lint filter two times. All the other clothes in the dryer were full of the black lint. I ended up drying them alone. I can't understand how a company like L.L. Bean could sell them in good conscience.

This was bought to replace an old set which were awesome but I slipped and ripped the knee. I need to buy a large to fit my chest. The legs are so long they are a tripping hazard but tight on the thighs while the waste is very loose. The sleeves which are on most shirt too short are actually too long and with all of that said the chest was still tight I could barely raise my arms and it felt like they would rip behind my shoulders or armpits. These things are not made to the correct size anymore or LL Bean has stopped making clothing for the moderately athletic outdoor type.
