These Pajamas are fine in every regard and I would have given them an excellent rating except neither the top or the bottom has a locker loop for hanging on the back of the closet door. I think this is a really odd omission considering LL Bean usually thinks of everything.

Bought this for my 93 yr old Dad last year and just bought it again. He loves these pjs and many days wears them all day. Keeps him toasty as he is always cold after heart surgery a few years back. The only thing is that the waist band has sewn in elastic waistband ( and drawstring) was too tight for him so I took out 5" of elastic on each side and he is super comfortable. Thanks LL Bean I'm sure I will be purchasing again. FYI make sure you wash & dry separately at least 3 times when you get them as they shed like crazy and will get on your other clothes. After that soft & perfect.

Overall, I love my pajamas, but I tried them on (before washing) and there is a hole in one of the pockets of the pants. Easy enough for me to mend, and not worth the hassle of returning. But, since I ordered two other items as gifts, and had them gift boxed at the factory, I'm concerned that there might be some slight defect that I will not be able to detect before giving them to my friends. Granted, not the worst problem I have, and if it were just my pair, I wouldn't have even mentioned it. But since this review form was sent to me, and I am concerned about the other two gift items, I decided to mention it. Worth mentioning, that I also have several other L.L. Bean pajamas and robes that I've had for twenty or more years, and there is no issue with any of them.

Although all cotton, and very comfortable, these pj's shed like crazy in cold water wash. Lint all over everything else in the wash! Be sure to wash by themselves.

The Good: Nicely made, soft and comfy. The Ugh: LLBean does not make this in petite...bummer, because for a 5' 1" person, the PJs are long in the sleeves and pants. No pants pockets. They call the material flannel, but it doesn't feel like flannel. The material is on the thin side. My husband got a pair of flannel PJ (yes, the same color:) but, the material is thicker. Oh, and different origin of maker.,,why is that? But, I still like them:)

Large size top fit perfectly. Pants were 2 inches too long and have been hemmed. I am 5'9" and 178 lbs. Nice and warm and comfortable. One issue is that at the first washing they did shed quite a bit. Some of this was expected but this was a handful of shedding removed from the dryer. Other than that I expect them to last.

I washed these for the first time and my entire load of wash was filled with red flannel lint. I then put everything in the dryer (no choice) and I had to empty the dryer trap twice to remove lint. He loves them and we are keeping them. Hope the next washing goes better:)

just what I was looking for!

These are men's pjs, I am a woman. A tall woman with long arms and legs. I would have given them a rating of 5 if they came in either a men's tall medium or a women's tall size. I ordered a men' tall large, for me, a woman, because I cannot find pjs in women's tall sizes. The ones I ordered are a bit big (roomy :) ) on me but the material feels so great I will continue to wear them.

Although these are great flannel pajamas, they run large. I had to have both the pants' length and top's sleeves shortened by my tailor, at 2/3 additional cost. I wish that the store's buyer would request the men's pajama manufacturers to make a size small in a small size, for a 5' 7" 143 pound man.

After reading the reviews on the women's pjs I decided to go with the men's and I'm so glad I did. These are a nice weight, soft and cozy and about the perfect size. I am 5'8, 130 and the men's small is just right - not too loose in the bottoms, not too tight in the chest. These will be my go-to comfy's to put on when it's cold outside.

The pajamas would be excellent, except that the bottom lacks a opening and a button at the waist, above the fly. One continuous elastic band with a drawstring is not good enough for adjusting comfortably to the range of waists used "medium: sized men.

Great fabric, they're warm. Medium runs a little big. My husband is 5' 6" and the bottoms are about a foot too long. Don't want to return them, so we're hemming them up.

PJs were very smooth and soft when first removed from package, but after one wash and dry, they became pebbly and lost their comfort. Quality is very disappointing for their price.

I like everything about these pjs, except the waist is not as advertised. I got the large though I am 5'8" and under 150 lbs. I like baggy pajamas and I don't like a tight waist. These supposed to have 36" waist. I have a waist slightly over 34" yet these are tight around waist. Feels much more like 34". Pants also have drawstring, so doesn't make sense to provide smaller waist then specified.

Lovely but after washed a lot of lint and fabric became much thinner.

You guys should give the choice to choose the pjs top size and the pants separately. Usually people wear different size on top and pants.

The top fits great - the sleeves are even long on me. The "tall" pants shrink to a 30" inseam, which is at my ankles. I'm 5'11" for reference.

The Regular size didn't fit. I have yet to return it. The Large size fits.

Sheds fluff but I guess after a number of washes, it'll stop

The fabric was not as nice as previous flannel pjs from ll bean. And the pants are way too long- at least 6 inches after washing and dryer.

Cute plaid colors. Not as warm as I had hoped for. Pants fit ok, but the top runs small.

I ordered extra large as usual. The top is fine, but the pants are too tight.
