While this is a man's robe, as a woman I found it a better alternative to the woman's terry robe which was too long. While a bit big for me it nevertheless suited my needs. The robe quality is excellent with very good seems that don't fray when washed. I liked it well enough to buy another in a different color.

Color and fit is perfect.

Husband owns several robes, but none fit as comfortably as this one. He specifically likes the length which isn't too short nor too long.

My spouse had a terrycloth robe that was 20 yrs old...time to go. I planned to get him one last year for Christmas but nothing was left but loose woven terry.....Ahhh! LL Bean on sale 15% off plus bean bucks & he loves it. Well made with heavy tight woven terrycloth. Double stitched, big pockets & a belt.....Perfect. Washed with minimal shrinkage. Perfect!

I usually buy light robes, but I thought I'd splurge a little and try this robe. They say it's 'Substantial' and they're not kidding! I couldn't believe how heavy it was when I first put it on! It's a great robe...I'm actually wearing it now! Real warm too! I recommend this product!

I can hardly wait for cold weather to arrive because it so warm. I like the high collar.

My son loved this. His old one - 10 yrs old - was raggedy, so i got him a replacement. I thought he'd love the momogramming, he quibbled about having his full real name rather than his nickname. But he wears it pre shower, post-shower. Ll bean products don t disappoint

Love my new robe - although a drop large for me - turns out it seems to make it more cozy. Raps around me - soft and warm - I find I'm looking for excuses to wear it during the day as I work from home most days. Great color, just love it

I needed a year round robe and this Terry Cloth robe was a great weight to fit the bill! Not too heavy for the summer. It comes down to my upper calves so is true to size for me. I got the Storm Blue color and like that also. Very pleased.

This robe is made of a heavy terry cloth material that mimics a bath towel and is very warm. The comfort is second to none as far as robes are concerned. Although it does have a significant weight when wet but that is to be expected with such rugged and strong material. Had one years ago and was taken from me so needed greatly to replace and the robe is made exactly as it was when I first tried it about 4 years ago. Awesome robe and highly recommended to anyone who is serious about a rugged, warm and moisture wickening bath or lounge robe. 5 stars.

I got this for my dad as his old robe was rags. He also recently had hip surgery and it was very difficult to put clothes on. For the first week he lived in his robe and said it was almost too warm (he is always hot!) but it fit perfectly and was very comfortable. My main concern was it would be too short, but he said at 6ft 1 inch, it goes to his knees and is perfect.

It's almost exactly like the one I had before it's heavy enough that it absorbs all the water on your body after the shower in just a matter of minutes it is very heavy material and that is exactly what I was looking for. It will be long lasting my last one lasted me 20 years. I expect this will probably last just as long

I needed a new winter robe as my current robe after too many years needed to be replaced. I did look at a few other places but I know if I get it from LL Bean it will be the best - I purchase my jeans from LL Bean exclusively and can't believe how durable and comfortable they are. I put the robe on and I wanted to go on recliner, turn on the TV and take a nap. So comfortable and warm. Just love ot

First, I will say my husband is not a bathrobe guy but I convinced him and he is a believer now that he has this robe. It is great quality, soft and sturdy. He absolutely loves it.
