Item is thick and soft to the touch. I bought another to give as a gift, after receiving the first one. Runs a bit large so I ordered a medium, which was just right for weight of 165 lbs. Customer service was amazing. Completely satisfied.

This robe has a plush look and feel. Very nice quality. Several reviews correctly pointed out that sizing of this item tends to run large, so I ordered the size small which is a great fit with room to spare. I'm 5' 6" and 140lbs.

I purchased a large as a gift and the fit is perfect. LLBean made it easy to select from a variety of colors and sizes i.e. S, M, L, XL. These sizes work for a comfortable fit. The organic cotton is soft and it washes well. I didn't need to use a softener. I just followed the instructions.
