I returned them. They were too small and too tight throughout the legs. I bought a navy pair over a year ago, same size and style, and I loved them. Perfect fit. Very comfortable. That's why I ordered another pair in gray. Now I'm wondering about buying anymore of them. Perhaps there was an error and the wrong size label was affixed to them. Not up to the standards that I've come to expect from LL Bean's products.

The pants use adequate material, but the sizing is ridiculous. The waist is about right, but the inseam is terrible. I wear a 30" inseam in every other pair of pants I own from numerous makers, including L.L. Bean and they all fit properly. For these the 30" inseam lands about four inches above my ankle, totally wrong and it was the same for both pairs I bought. As they are these pants are worthless. Do not buy, and if you do add 4-6 inches to the inseam. Very disappointing.

I purchased the 34in inseam after returning pairs of 32in inseam because I was concerned about them becoming too short after washing and drying. Didn't matter, these pants shrank so much in length that they are shorter than some of my 30in inseam pants. Unwearable. I shouldn't have to fear washing a product. Terrible quality.

Fit well when I first got it, but shrunk in just a few (normal) washes that didn't shrink anything else in the wash. Useless now.

I purchased these medium sweatpants for my 70-year old very slim friend who generally wears pants with a 31" waist size. They were very nice and generously cut around the waist and seat, but the legs were cut extremely narrow all the way up through the thighs. He said the pants were very uncomfortable, so I returned both pairs. I ordered these specifically because they were the only sweatpants I could find with straight legs. I know the current style is slim legs, but these were far too narrow even for a thin person.

Runs small around the waist, according to sizing chart should have fit, but is snug

Sweat Pants mis-labeled with incorrect size. I ordered 2 pair of sweat pants for a Christmas gift, both the same size. Unfortunately, I didn't unfold them to check size when I received them, so when my son opened his gift, one pair were fine and the other pair was very short. He returned them to a retail store and was issued a store credit.

Unfortunately these pants shrank significantly after their first washing. Can I return them?

Thin. Not LL Bean quality. The quality of your products has diminished in the past 5 years. Sizing is unreliable. Materials are not the high quality they used to be. I now hesitate before making a purchase.

Good material, good feel. But M- 30 is not actually medium with inseam 30 inches, it is 28 or less inches. On return they charge you return fee and some other fee, I ordered 2 sets of M-30 and finally to test the third time M 32. M32 measures M-30 M30 measures M28 The marketing is wrong and order return do not believe me and charge all this return expenses. I have been buying from LlBean since 1980s and now I am disappointed.

Very disappointing! I've been living in LL Bean sweatpants for decades, but this is the second pair I've bought with cloth much thinner than the old ones. And size medium always was roomy enough for me, but these last two were skimpy and too tight (and I've actually lost weight, so that wasn't what caused it). I'm not going to order them from you anymore.

For a LL Bean product I rely on they slipped on this one! Material is paper thin and the pockets are so shallow that they are basically useless.

These sweat pants were small for an XL. All the sweat pants that I own are XL and these were equivalent to a Large if not smaller. Also for the price the fabric was thin. I returned then to the LL Bean store in Brookfield.

The elastic in the waist was not able to keep the pants up. Bought for a man that's had a stroke and only the use of one hand. Didn't work for him.

Xl size is like a medium size. Very small, tight and not comfortable. I'm not always an xl size, but I like comfortable, loose fitting sweats. Only pro is you can specify your inseam, otherwise skip these.

I have been very happy with my previous purchases from L.L. Bean ( especially their T-shirts ) but these sweatpants are very poorly and stupidly tailored with the legs way too small and tight. It is amazing that such a basic and important feature for sweatpants is tailored without any regard for the average and typical adult male legs. The legs on the sweatpants that I received from L.L.Bean are only good for the whims of a teenage fashion victim that likes only way too tight pants!

I returned the items because they did not fit properly. They were large, but they did not fit like my other pants that are large.

I was looking forward to getting these pants. Had to wait months because of backorder issues. Finally, arrived, and they were ridiculously small. I bought an XL 32" seam, just incase they ran small. They were so small ,I actually thought they were missed mark! Sent them back. Very disappointed because I thought I found the perfect sweat pant with a straight cuff.

All my other sweat pants are 1X. These were so small, I couldn't even get them on, let alone be comfortable. Lesson learned: no more pants from L.L. Bean.

I've never had a problem with LL Bean Products shrinking until I bought these sweatpants. They fit great the first time I wore them. But, they shrunk about two inches after a few washes in cold water. I will have to cut them down for shorts. Very disappointed!

I wore these pants once and really liked them, although I probably should have ordered the 30" length. They were true to size when they arrived. I washed and dried them last night for the first time following the instructions to the letter and they shrunk about an inch so they come to the top of my socks. I'll probably use them for paint pants.

The Bean 1912 Sweatpants I purchased are made from thin material and are very tight at the waist. I ordered medium and the waist fits like a small.
