Warm and runs a bit long in length. No longer need long johns under pj bottoms.

Nice soft, warm, comfortable lounge pants. I'm female but I bought a mens medium and they are a great fit. They have held their shape and I did not notice much if any shrinkage when washed.

I first got these for my husband some years back in the Gray Stewart plaid. Those ones? OMG they held up so well. He wears them a lot, and I can only trust that these are just as well made. (He still has the ones I got him some years ago, but eventually, when you basically live in them on cold winter days/nights, they do start to wear thin. Still, he would wear the first ones I ever got him but its too much fun to get him newer ones! My husband LOVES these because they are so incredibly soft and warm! (Why dont you make these for women, LL Bean? I certainly can order from the mens, but this year the plaids are (mostly) kind of dark and dreary, IMHO.) Still, my husband would cherish these no matter what colors/plaids you offer. I actually ordered them in both Medium and Large--both sizes work! He just doesnt know yet that there is a second one he will get at Christmas! (He got one for his birthday earlier this month.)

Wow! I keep my furnace low in the Winter, and am always looking for a cheap way to stay warm. These pants are incredibly warm when used with the LL Bean flannel pajama tops, fleece lined bathrobe, sheepskin slippers, and stocking hat. I can easily keep the thermostat at 68 in the daytime and turn the furnace off at 3 PM until I get up the next morning. I used to wear long johns, jeans, wool shirt,arctic parka, and wool socks but this combination is much warmer.Since I am retired and mostly sit around the house all day this really works!
