After rocking black fleece hoodies for over 20 years I decided to go with Bean's more tailored tartan version. I use it as a house coat because, as a Floridian, 76 indoors seems chilly. The snap front lies flat, unlike a zippered sweatshirt; pockets abound in this shirt including two BIG pockets inside, that are separate from the handwarmer pockets outside. My Bean shirts are slightly fitted but I chose the Regular cut because I expect to wear it over flannel or chamois shirts for winter. I like the hood, it is well cut and has the correct amount of ease. Q: How big ARE those inside pockets? A: They will hold a FedEx envelope!

I bought this for my husband as an anniversary gift. We walk in the morning and it keeps the chill off. He loves it.
