Given as a Christmas gift and very much appreciated. I just hope it is as nice as the River Driver shirts we had back in the 90s. The Tall size is always accurate.

The double layer River Driver Henley is a favorite of my husband due to fit, soft comfort and style.

These shirts work best when worn with my other L.L. Bean favorite Rag wool sweater.

i just received my third River Driver shirt. I wear the men's small and fit is fine. It is long in torso and sleeves, but works for me because I can't stand shirts coming untucked. The sleeves just roll up. I am always amused by people telling how they find the shirt to be enough with just a flannel shirt over it. I find in 50 degree weather it might be enough with a heavy wool sweater. Below 50 I will need to add a winter coat. We in So Cal have thin blood. Or at least i do. Here's to you you hardy people.

This shirt is soft comfortable and warm, everything you'd want from a shirt as a layer or by itself. The fit is great and there's plenty of room in the sleeves.

This is my husband's 4th River Driver's shirt! Washes well.

I've got a LLBean river driver shirt from 1978-79 that is still decent enough to wear; right elbow wore out from too much bar time, hah. These shirts last.

I have owned several of these River Drivers shirts, in both crew neck and Henly styles for many years. We are currently experiencing a 20 degree spell over a few weeks here in Michigan in January 2025, chilly willy weather. The warmth of wearing these double layer cotton/wool shirts during this period is like a continuous warm hug. They are perfect for this weather! Santa Claus brought me two more this Christmas.I'm a lucky dude.

The River Driver's shirt is my favorite warm, winter shirt of all time. I buy the medium tall to wear as a tunic-length and it is my winter pajama top. I buy the regular small for daily wear and I live in these shirts all winter long. It is warm and comfortable and breathable. It is incredibly well-made and lasts for years. Best shirt ever.

Henley is warm and soft without being too heavy. My husband loves it.

The reason I purchased this shirt again was to the quality of materials. Husband had a motorcycle accident and this shirt kept him from being torn up except where the shirt came up at the waste, to this day he is still wearing the same shirt. Time to retire it so I got another.

This is about the 6th or 7th time I've bought this shirt. I'll buy again as I wear out one of my older ones, however for me they last for many years. It is one of my favorites to wear on those colder winter days.
