Just what I was looking for on cold weather excursions!

I have purchased several of these shirts over the years and they are great. Warm, good fit and look great coming out of the dryer.

The Two-Layer River Driver's Shirt is the perfect shirt or under layer for the colder seasons. It is soft, comfortable and warm to wear. It is also great with L L Bean pajama pants for sleeping. All the men in our family count on them as a wardrobe staple. PLEASE BRING BACK WOMEN'S Two-Layer River Driver's Shirts! I loved mine and kept wearing them when they were past worn out! They are so missed!

The perfect shirt to throw on for a cool morning when you have things to do. Great fit, loose but not baggy, Material is of top quality.

I buy one of these shirts every year for my son. He really likes them as an extra layer. They are soft and comfortable. I wash them and hang them up to dry and they have stayed in good shape. He has several colors. He wears them all winter.

This is a very nice shirt. It is well made and excellent quality as you would expect.

I never write online reviews but this has become my favorite long sleeve shirt. I feel like a traitor writing this but it's even better that my long favored Bean chamois. I was given one or the River Driver shirts as a gift 3 years ago and quickly realized it was totally superior for the active type of work I do outdoors, on the farm in winter. This shirt has a roomy cut that doesn't ride up on the back and sides when untucked and somehow doesn't feel bunched up under other layers. The cotton inner layer is so nice. It is a really nice quality cotton that does not "pill" or shrink away from the wool layer. And the wool itself is tightly woven and just the right weight to keep you warm, even when you go from shoveling snow to plowing on the tractor. I'm up to six of these shirts and the ones that are 3 years old are still in heavy rotation. If they had a welder-proof wrist cuff, they might last forever.

i am so happy this shirt with the cotton,wool content is still available as mine are getting old, so glad there still made by the family in Canada, keep up the great work

Warm and very comfortable. Fit perfectly, but sleeves are a little long. I just roll the cuffs up, and they are perfect.

hard wearing shirt, good fit and long lasting, except for weakness of hem in back of neck, which tends to tear after long use.

I have bought this shirt almost every year. I see it is no longer being made in a 3 world country. I have an original shirt from 2007 and the quality is same or better with this new vendor. Bravo LL Bean

My go-to shirts when the weather turns colder. Comfortable without a T-shirt underneath when it's a little cool out. Works well too when layering for colder weather. Love these shirts also for the henley design which I like for comfort around the neck as well as ability to let my neck breathe a little when inside. I wear them for heavy work, for casual times and even at night when the winter chill demands.

This was a gift and the young man started wearing it immediately. Must have liked it!

My husband wears these shirts all winter long. They are soft, warm, but not too warn like flannel can get. He has a 37" sleeve and the tall fits wonderfully. I bought a couple a few years ago and they are holding up well to weekly washings.

I bought 2 of the River Drivers shirts for tall people. They fit marvelously. They are warm, soft and comfortable. A good addition to my casual winter wear.
