I ordered this one size larger than normal since I wanted to wash and dry it with regular laundry. Perfect fit. I have another from years ago - same quality - great job!

Years ago, these were made in women's sizes. They were awesome and so warm!! I used to wear them while camping with the Cub Scouts so many years ago. PLEASE make these again in women's sizes!! These shirts are nice and warm. Do the designers at L.L. Bean think that women don't get cold or go outside in the winter?

With a thick fabric, this shirt feels substantial and it is. It is warmer than a cotton henley and envelops you in a feeling of comfort.

I have enough of these in different colors to wear every day of the week in the winter to keep me warm in the house (along with a cami under it). I have been wearing these for years and just added a new color while 15% off for the coming winter. Years ago Bean offered these for women but no longer so I just buy the men's in a size medium and they keep me warm and comfortable. They are of good quality and last - biggest selling point for me is they ARE NOT MADE IN CHINA! These are great, just buy one to see for yourself.

3 sons and a husbandlots of River driver shirts over a lot of years. Our youngest son has been wearing them since he was a kid and is now in his 40's. When we asked him what he needed for Father's Day he said "I could use a new River Drivers Shirt!"

Still a great shirt. Had my other one for years and it's on its last legs. This one was discounted as I believe the color to be discontinued. Does shrink if put in the dryer. But it fits better now that I've dried it. I also knew that was gonna happen

The river driver's shirt is the best for layering, or for just wearing around the house in the winter. Soft and warm, with long sleeves, it can allow you to lower the thermostat setting and save energy.

My son lives in these from fall thru spring. They are warm and wear extremely well

I have been buying River Driver shirts for 50 years. As always it is well made of quality materials; comes in great colors and is exactly what I was looking for and expected.

I started wearing LL Bean River Driver's shirts in the 90's when we were living in NH. They are NH cold worthy. In many a snow storm I shoveled snow in a river driver to keep my core warm. The double layer design keeps the cold out & the warm in. 40 years later I still rely on River Driver's, but for a different reason. I wear them as an undershirt, during SC winters to keep my arthritic sholders warm and less painful. Taken care of, they last for years. They are "dry flat" only. Their biggest enemy is the drier. They will shrink and become misshapen.
