I was attracted to this sweatshirt by its unique look - the waffle or mesh-like stitching...and interesting colors. First wore it to the dentist office where I heard "what a neat sweatshirt" from the staff. So, the look factor passed. It is what I consider a mid-weight garment. I'm very skin sensitive to polyester; while the percentage of polyester is 20%, it gives me no discomfort. The fit is very good...just some observations (not criticisms): I have 35" arms, right on for me. The waist band is a bit looser than other sweatshirts - it drapes to about the bottom of the back pockets of jeans. Just so you know it will drape below a bomber-like jacket (but that's the look nowadays). Anxious to see how the color holds up with continuous laundering - hopefully, it won't get that old, faded look for some time. I plan on getting one or two more.

I love this sweatshirt! The smooth quilted surface feels great and sheds dirt or pet hair way better than standard sweatshirt fabric. I bought a "Men's" because the colors were more what I like than the women's. The weight is perfect! Not too heavy but just warm enough for our cool Autumn & Spring. The fit is also fine.

Great garment . Wore it at a casual function the other night and got many compliments.

More of a fitted than bulky fit so men's small fits me, female size 8/10, nicely. The red is great as well, not too bright.

I got the Men's for myself because it is quilted all over unlike the Women's. It's in a size where it is long enough on me to wear w/ tights or skinny pants. I love this sweatshirt - very cozy but polished-looking. I suppose men don't mind the glaring logo on the front but I think it takes away from the look of it. I confess I've removed the logo. Wish you would quilt all over on the Women's so I could get it in Royal Plum Heather.

A classic, versatile, and comfy staple. Perfect outer layer for fall, and will make for a great mid layer in winter. As a 6' 170 slim/athletic frame, a medium fits ALMOST slightly big.

Great fit. I got a medium and go 5'7", weigh 155 and it is perfect! My wife loves the way it looks too. I'm getting another.

Very comfortable sweatshirt. Just the right amount of warmth and comfort for those early autumn days.

My brother in law liked it very much but had to return it for an XL.

This quilted sweatshirt has a classy look with the warmth and functionality of a sweatshirt. I can retire a few sweatshirts by adding this one to my collection.

This sweatshirt is soft and warm and stylish enough to wear going out. It is quite long in body and sleeves but narrow, so it fits my skinny, tall husband well. I have not washed it yet. Ideal for California winter!

Light enough for summer evenings of on the river at night. As expected it fits great, easy wash, and tailored for "elegant" casual wear.

Ordered the tall version for my husband's XL arms but had to exchange because it really is for TALL men. He absolutely loves the color and fit and it has become his favorite weekend sweatshirt!

The sweatshirt does run a little bit large, but after wash wasn't as bad. The material is super soft and very warm I like it a lot. I did not have to size up. Definitely reccomend.

I bought this , just because , just about every article I've bought over years from LL Bean has been top quality. The sweatshirt fit a little loose, and being a big guy, I thought 2X would be just right or a little snug. I washed it, dried it in the dryer, now it fits just right, not to snug, not to loose. The shirt is made very well, feels great on, and is nice and warm. I'm glad I took a chance and bought it. Another "home run" designed and made by LL Bean.

This is a quality piece that I've already gotten a couple compliments on. It's worth a buy!

I can say it is awesome and recommended! I will buy one again in the near future. One of the best sweatshirts I have ever worn!
