It's a beautiful shirt, and very warm, but the size ran a little big.

This is a great shirt. I had one many years ago and after a couple of decades wore it out. Moved back to an area with seasons, (Eastern TN,) and couldnt wait to get new ones. I bought three! I really love the red because thats the color I had back in the day. Im 62 220lbs and ordered XLT. Perfect fit!

Nice shirt. Looks good after first wash. Wont know more until I wear it a few times.

In general, these shirts are wonderful--5 stars. They are warm, fit well, and are durable. I have one that is at least 15 years old, and is only now starting to wear out (showing the white interfacing at the tips of the collar and pocket flaps). So I am now in the position of wanting to replace that shirt. It was red, not real bright primary red, but slightly muted, with a touch of blue tone. The red shirt that is now available is a very bright primary red, way too intense a color for me to wear. But I am desperate to replace my red shirt, so I did not return the new red one, but rather, I have changed the color a little by overdying it with RIT dye (not the best dye, but that's what is available to me). I tinted it with denim, so it is now a very satisfactory, slightly darker red. I have always liked the color palate that you used in your clothes. Recently, it seems to have changed. There are more oranges, browns, and muted greens, which is good because some people need those colors. I hope you also maintain the blues, reds, and true greens that you have used in the past. Please avoid the really intense, garish colors like this rich red. and the aqua/turquoise sunwashed canvas shirt that I returned a couple of summers ago.

Be careful, if you expect the same as previous chamois shirt it was 9 oz material. This year they say it is 7 1/2 oz material.

I have purchased nothing but LL Bean shirts for 25 years at least. They are comfortable and durable like no other. I am a conductor/switchmen for the Minnesota Commercial Railway and still wear some shirts that pre-date my 21+ years of service. I know some folks take LL Bean up on their warranty but all I can think is really????.

Beautiful deep blue color, high quality, cozy and soft to the touch. My husband immediately loved it (and he's very particular about style, fabric and fit!). After wearing it he wanted another one--we ordered a second shirt in gray!

I ordered a medium because I have a 20 year old Large that is huge. Well, so is the medium. I had to return it.

These are my favorite fall/winter shirts, but I think they are getting bigger. I'm 5'11", 190. I washed and dried the Large twice and it's still very large. I know for certain that I have not shrunk, on the contrary, with each yeah I expand, which is why I shy away from the Medium. What's a guy to do? I don't want to keep shipping shirts hither and yon as the world chokes on airplane fumes just for the sake of my own vanity. I may try the slim/fitted fit or risk a Medium but I already have an older Medium that belonged to my Grampa (RIP) and it's too small now. I also would like to see the return of the classic orange color. You wanna talk about the Chamois shirt? Let's talk. It's THE BEST.

I ordered several of LL Bean's versions of this shirt, and felt that the quality on this one topped the "heritage" and "signature" options. Still, I just wish it were thicker, like the olden days kind. Looking elsewhere for that classic, BIFL heavy duty flannel.

Generous cut, very soft, very warm. Im 511 212 and the large fits well. I will likely buy another color as well for skiing, or just sitting around the campfire

This chamois shirt is just what my son needed while working at his outside job! He likes how it fits for movement and is thankful for the warmth; so much so that I purchased another for Christmas.

Fits accurately to a regular fit. The cloth is thick and closely woven, making it both warm and sturdy. If you tuck it in, you'll need an extra half inch of waist space!

I really like the chamois shirt. It is comfortable, warm and I know it well a long time. Twice I received compliments from others in a short time about how well I looked in this shirt

Got this for my husband as a gift after the one my mom got him wore out after many years. It looks really nice on him and its soft and comfortable. There are a few different fits available now. I got him the traditional fit in his regular size, an XL which was too big so I got him the L and it was great!

LL Bean has gone back to its old quality shirt, as opposed to what they sold last year which was appreciably lighter in weight. In my opinion this shirt is worth the money as ones I've bought in the past wear like iron. I'm a bit worried about the bright red shirt's colors running but--so far so good.

I liked the shirt very much but when i ordered it it cost 69.98 but when I received it it was marked 59.98 on tag. Why was i charged 74.98 if it was cheaper on tag

Ive been wearing these chamois shirts for decades and they really keep me warm. For someone who cant wear wool because of allergies, chamois shirts are a godsend.

This is an excellent shirt . It is very warm and comfortable not to mention looks great on as well. The only issue I have with the shirt is the corners of the coolar and the sleeves get threadbare long before the shirt is worn out. At that point it becomes unsightly

Great length for a 6'-3" guy, but too roomy for 200 lbs. Returned for the semi-fitted version and am super happy with the fit. Material is substantial and overall well made.
