These are the real deal! It used to be a number of companies made these heavy chamois shirts, but not many these days. Nice and heavy material. They have become my wintertime uniform. Thinner ones last about 2 winters. These last forever.

Great shirt, but the first one I ordered was way too big--I'm a Large for other LLBean shirts I've ordered but a Medium for this one. Exchanged it with ease at LLBean store and the new Medium version fits perfectly.

This Chamois Shirt is Wonderful! It's like wearing a soft grey blanket made into a shirt. I got one of these for a gift long ago, and it finally wore out after 30+ years. It is so good to have this new Chamois Shirt. It is an amazing shirt. It's warm, and yet it breaths, to keep me the right temperature; and it is so soft and yet thick and strong. I like this Chamois Shirt a lot.

My wife and I have been sharing these remarkable shirts for decades... me for more than 40 years. It's impossible to find quality material like this for such a reasonable price. There is so much flimsy flannel on the market... Nothing compares to dense, heavy "chamois" cotten when standing up to the wind.& cold. Nothing is as soft and comfortable on your neck. The bonus with these things is their ability to reincarnate from a classy cut shirt/jacket to a heavy brush hero. Once you retire them from casual dress-up (5-10 yrs.) with or without a tie, you can start wearing them as chore jackets pruning and cutting firewood or fishing the morning bite. They hold up to briars and bramble and machine wash back to a comfortable old friend. Nobody else makes shirts like these. If they change this formula for success, they're nuts.

This is the only flannel shirt my husband will wear. End of story. Have to replace every 7 -10 years, as he wears out the collar

Shirt seems little changed since my last 10-15 years ago. Maybe the material is a tad thinner, but the buttons are still nice and solid, well attached.

I'VE ALWAYS ORDERED THESE WHEN I NEED A NEW ONE AND HAVE PURCHASED MMMMMMMANY OF THESE FROM LL BEAN.....

I love these shirts. Heavier material than the flannel variety and excellent quality. Warm in the winter and exceptional for wear in the fall as a jacket.

Fits well, XL is not quite as big as previous ones were so the front panels of the shirt don't overlap by 8=10 inches like the preior one.

Bought this for my husband. He loves it! We got the XL, traditional fit and I was sure it would be too big. But it's not. He wears it as an outer layer and the thick, chamois material looks good as a looser fit. The burgundy color is nice and rich. It washed perfectly. Great to wear for three seasons in Michigan.

This is a terrific shirt: beefy, soft fabric and beautiful tailoring. I've washed it twice so far, and it still looks like new. I bought the blue, a great color; if the others all weren't so dark, I'd buy more.

Very fine shirt. Nice, sturdy weight. Heavy shirt, light jacket. I bought the shirt a size large to have room for extra layers underneath. I recommend this shirt to anyone for an inner layer, outer layer or all by itself.

Great chamois shirt. I like the new blue color. Not my first (the first one was loved to death).

My husband is enamored with double pocket shorts, and these are substantial enough to last quite a while without being overly heavy and hot.
