This shirt is an exceptional piece for layering! Great quality.I appreciate the fact that they wash well and wear well!

My husband loves these shirts, he has several. They do run a bit large- he usually wears and XL, but a large fits perfectly. They're perfect for days when it's too warm for a jacket, but too cold for a single layer.

This is my 3rd LL Bean Chamois Shirt. They are the best you will find anywhere. Very Well Made! They do run a little large so be aware when sizing.

It's hard to find a flannel shirt with heavy weight (thick fabric) and well constructed. I've ordered these in the past after searching in vain for competing sources, I've come back to these depedendables.

My husband loves these shirts. Heavy thick flannel that is soft and keeps him warm. Two great pockets with flaps.

Great clothing and super fast shipping

I've been a fan of the Chamois cloth shirt for 40 years. The style and fit is traditional outdoor gear--only fashionable in that sense, but I'm good with that. The fabric is thick and sturdy. Couldn't be happier.

Sturdy fabric & stitching. expect the collar to fray after 50 washings...but remainder of shirt will be fine.

This chamois shirt is very attractive. It runs a little on the large size but that is fine. I had read that even though it runs on the larger size, it would shrink after laundering. I wash shirts in cold water but dry with heat. I am happy with this shirt which I purchased for my son. It looks very nice worn over a tee shirt.

I can't add much to what has been written by other reviewers; these are simply great shirts. I only wanted to echo the warnings from others about the sizing. I ordered 3 new colors in Fall of 2017 in my customary XL size. The shirts that arrived were HUGE, easily fitting over XL shirts ordered in the past. Return was simple, if not free, and the replacements, this time in size L, arrived quickly and fit perfectly. The only bummer: I couldn't get all the colors I had ordered originally. But the ones I got were still beautiful ...er, handsome! I will continue to watch every year for new colors.

Here in New England, warm and rugged shirts are a must. This is an everyday shirt that looks great, cleans up easily, doesn't mind hauling firewood, and never needs ironing if I take it out of the dryer after a couple of minutes and straighten things up on a hanger. After frequent use for a couple of years, it still looks like new.

I've always wanted one of these but never could pull the trigger. I had an online credit so I decided to order one. After reading reviews, I noticed most people said to size down because they are very big for their size. I am 6ft and 190 lbs. I took this advice and ordered a medium. When it arrived it fit perfectly. The problem came when I washed it and dried it shrunk. Not super bad but enough to cause me to concern what repeated washings would do. I guess if I washed in cold and hung to dry it might be okay but I'm way too busy for all that. I emailed customer service and was told that they would take it back in exchange for another size. I ordered the large this time and when it arrived it was pretty big. However after I washed it in hot water and put it in he dryer it came out perfect. Moral of this story is order the size you normally wear, wash it in hot water and then throw it in the dryer. Also, I want to say that even though Bean has taken some licks recently regarding their discontinuing "lifetime guarantee", they still have the best customer service around. The shirt was worth the price by the way. Super comfortable.

Added 2 chamois cloth shirts to my collection. Been wearing these things for years, and the new ones give every appearance of being as thick and sturdy as the old ones. I have worn a few of these out over the decades, but it takes some doing.

These shirts are as advertised and are an excellent product. Shirts do not shrink in the wash. Sizing is perfect. Buy one today!

My Dad used to wear these. First purchased for my husband last year. He liked it so much I bought more this year. Son also wears them now. They wash really well, hold their shape, color stays true.

The only issue I have with these shirts is that they need to be shrunk to fit properly. A hot wash and dry, and they fit perfectly. We could use a couple more colors, such as light grey or off-white.

L.L. Bean chamois shirts are the only brand of chamois shirt I have or will buy.

Bought my umteenth chamois cloth shirt recently and discovered that warmth, comfort and appearance haven't changed a bit from all those warm comfortable and good looking shirts I bought in the past. These are a essential part of my cool weather wardrobe. They also represent a fine value as well. If you don't own one you should give one a try - you'll end up buying several more.
