I normally buy the sunwashed canvas shirts, but I like this one just as well, and it's cut the same. Great quality, as usual. True to size, like my other Bean shirts. Honest sizing is unique in men's shirts and I've found that only Bean and Filson are sized properly. The chamois fabric is on the heavy side and will be great for winter.

Haven't really used it much. Summer too hot. But it looks lovely

Finding these two colors in heavy flannel is next to impossible, except at Bean.

I've been wearing these shirts for 50 years. Obviously, I love them! Super comfy, warm, sharp looking when new and full of character when decrepit. I am constantly looking at the ads for sales as they aren't cheap, and there has been a woeful lack of primary colors the last couple of years. Get on the ball Bean!

My husband has been wearing these shirts for years. They wear out and we buy more. We tried buying a cheaper version from another company and they shrunk and didn't last half as long, so we go back to LL Bean. Yes, the shirts are pricey (for us) but they last longer, don't shrink. My only complaint is the lack of choices but maybe because I bought early in the season.

I've owned one of these shirts for several years and like it so well I bought another for myself and one for my son-in-law. perfect over a Bean cotton T-Neck on most Virginia Autumn and Winter days. Even after much wear, the shirts hold their color and just plain look and feel good. Without reservation I would recommend these shirts to anyone.

Great! True to size!

I am a female and I ordered this for myself because they were sold out of the Chamois shirt for women. Material is very soft. Mid-weight, which is perfect for cooler fall and spring mornings and evenings. I am 55" & 130 lbs. and ordered a small in the men's. It is baggy around the body and the sleeves are a bit long, but I can layer underneath and roll the cuffs up. Absolutely love the material and know I will get a lot of use out of it.

The shirt is comfortable, durable and washes great and does not shrink if washed in cold water.

My Mother had one of these and when she passed away, I took it (I am her daughter). It was MY FAVORITE...wore it all the time...then I got a "rip" in it--my fault -- I was devastated. Managed to get a good repair job, but in the meantime, I needed to get a new one...and I found it!!! Will be buying another - different color. Love, Love, Love this shirt..(my mom had great taste)...for so many reasons!! All the good stuff I like is usually meant for men.

I got my first one of these when I was about 20 and Ive been buying them ever since. I'm 73 now and bought three this year after moving to the WI northwoods where they beat everything else hands down 3-4 seasons. You can buy a lot of stuff at LL Bean but you won't beat these anywhere else and I've tried several other brands. Thank you LL Bean.

Comfortable material. sized correctly

I never write reviews but these shirts are the most comfortable I've worn. I have 4 of them and I look forward to wearing them each time because they feel so good on my skin. They really are the best shirt!

As this type of shirt is becoming rare in these days of oil based products. The shirt is fine for cool days and nights. Like I said it a shirt and yes I tuck it in.That said is it as good as the old days say, fifty years ago ? No ,however that can also be said about shirts back then!

It fit this American fine. A 'large' is a true large. I often wear it as a light coat over a mock turtle neck and just as often tuck it in an let the mock show or wear it as a shirt without the mock. Always tucked in.

Love the style, fit, fabric. Fabric is warm on snowy, cold days. Ordered two a gray and a camel. Casual but nice looking. Very pleased.

Ordered an XL, had to exchange for an L. Fits perfectly.

The size and quality of the Chamois shirts are great. I do wish that you'd bring back more of the solid color choices. I love the shirts but am not crazy about the plaids. I have several older solid colors that I'd like to update.

got this for my husband for Christmas. Usually he says he has enough clothes, but this one he liked. his old hunting chamois shirt was so old and stiff, but this one is soft, warm. It washed up really well and stayed soft. He recommends it.
