I have been wearing LL Bean chamois Shirts since the late 70s. By itself or layering. Very durable yet soft and comfortable.

I've been buying these shirts for a very long time. I wear them until they are in tatters (and my wife starts making comments). That said, the fabric on this shirt is somewhat different, softer and a little bit fleece like. I like it and my toddler grandson likes to sleep on it.

My husband loves these chamois shirts. He has been wearing them for years. The only part that wears out for him are the elbows. Is there a way you could make the elbow area stronger? He wears them for good as well as for working outside.

What I expected and have been used to over the many years

These shirts are great all-rounders and there should be at least one in every wardrobe. The quality is very high - I have one over ten years old and it is still in great condition. They can be worn as a layer in winter or as a light jacket on summer evenings and everything in between.

Husband loves these thick flannels, he wears them as a second layer in cooler weather. This was his second one because he was wearing the first daily! We love how thick the cotton flannel is and it's very well made. We're always looking for 100% natural fibers to wear and this is a great option. I've considered ordering a small for myself!

Husband loves these shirts. Have bought them for many years. But, would like to have more choices of colors. You use to have a Heather Blue as well as a Red.

This is the best shirt by far. Heavier than flannel so it makes a perfect jacket for winter in the Southwest. I will continue to buy these shirts from LL Bean as long as they have them.

My husband loves these shirts. He wears them every day during cold weather.

I bought two of these shirts 25-30 years ago. They are still very usable after heavy use every winter and as a top layer Spring and Fall. Aside from a thinning at the wrists it's hard to tell the old from the new. Thanks L L Bean! i'll need to live to be 120 to wear them out or put them in my will. ;=) P.S. I'm a 6' male. They are Regular length and plenty long to conceal whatever I carry on my belt!

This style shirt just like all the other Beaner flannel shirts I own- 7 in all, are very practical, reasonable, quality driven and excellently put together. True to size- XL Tall. Nice rich gray color.

Great heavy weight flannel, my Dad loves them; this is the latest of many purchases of the same style, just different colors.

I just received my shirt the navy is navy not the color they show on the website. Fit work sell and the shirt is very soft. Just like my Chamois Shirt of years gone by

I have had a "Chamois shirt" in one form or another for at least 50 years. Love the softness and comfort. Great early in the morning when you need to closeness of an old friend.

Excellent fit and quality for this shirt. As good as any sweater.

Took a cruise to Norway to see the Northern Lights the shirt kept me warm.

Love these shirts. Still wearing some really old ones that are starting to get thin. New ones should last 12 to 14 years too.

Another classic from LL Bean! Promises to be a favorite, medium fits me perfect, 5'10" 165lbs, roomy but not baggy.

I was originally a little disappointed that I had to get the grey shirt, since it was available right away and the other colors weren't, but I have decided that I really like the grey.

If you want a thick flannel shirt this is the one for you. Seems like it will last for years also

Wonderful shirts. Have enjoyed them for years. Wear like iron and always lay well. Great feel and nice colors. I sometimes wear an XL but the L fits me better.

A good fit and comfortable. Wasn't sure I would like the flecks in the design but they are okay.

My wife purchased one of these for me for Christmas one year and I now own five. I'm a flannel shirt guy. I wear flannel shirts all the time in the Fall, Winter and Spring: at home, at the office, out with my wife, fishing, hunting, hiking. They fit well for me, they're warm, and look sharp.
