I'm returning these. These are stretch and not at all like what anyone who knows 505 Levis expects. The material is not kind of denim that Levi's was known for. They are 99 % cotton and 1% elastane. These are not going to wear and wear like the old Levis did where you can have them for 10 years. They're made in Mexico.
The fit didn't flatter me. They fit just fine, but with the way styles have changed, they look baggy.

This item is sized VERY small. I own these jeans in three other colors, and they all fit rather loosely. These jeans were an entire size too small, despite the stated size.

Not a fan of these jeans. The fabric is way too rough, and, even using fabric softener and washing several times hasn't helped. The fit is okay.

I should have believed the other reviews. These jeans are junk. They get baggy after a couple of hours, and the fabric is not jean fabric, but feels weird. Due to the saggy fit and fabric, they just do not feel good to wear - almost uncomfortable. I will probably make work-in-the-yard jeans out of them since I can't return them. I bought them to replace my old 505's which fit great, but these are nothing like them. Save your money.

I purchased these aware of possible pitfalls of NON-authenticity, based on reviews here and on Amazon; The jeans are not denim. I already own a pair ordered in past directly from Levi's, which is made with true black denim fabric. The material on pants received from Zappo's is what I'd call a medium-weight black cotton similar to what you'd find in a pair of khakis, but definitely not black denim. Interestingly, both say made in Pakistan. However, on the plus side, the fit is same/similar to the 'real' 505's, and so I'm keeping them only because I need cheap black pants for work. Re: the fit - yes, these are perfect for me (size 10) - slender in hips and thighs, but a little extra room at waist, to accommodate a more middle-aged shape. But for others, that wouldn't work, as seen by some comments. Two stars, because these are NOT real black denim jeans. Fraud vs factory mistake? Hard to say.

I wrote a previous review and said that these jeans were awesome. Well, after owning them for a few weeks now I have changed my mind a bit. They are only comfortable for one wear. They stretch out so badly after one day that they are literally falling off. If I could return them, I would. I probably need one size smaller just because of how much they stretch.

The jeans were made of some terrible denim blend. Nowhere close to normal Levi’s material. They were a different color in one stripe down the front and looked cheap, cheap, cheap.
I'd also recommend:

These jeans are terrible. I ordered four different Levi's styles and colors, and I kept these because they were 99% cotton (unlike the others) and I figured they had the best chance of not stretching out, as so many jeans now do. Out of the bag, they fit great. Then I washed them and wore them. After a fairly short time (an hour? less?), they stretched and bagged around the seat and crotch. I'm very disappointed and can t believe Levi's would put their name on these jeans. But now I'm stuck.

A very frustrating order. First I ordered the 8S which is the same size as another pr of the same exact 505s that I have that fit. Well these 8S didn't fit at all so returned for 10S. Those didn't fit either and didn't really seem any bigger. So I got out my original 8S that do fit me and compared side-by-side w/ these and the 8S were bigger in the waist then the 10S so no wonder they didn't fit. It wasn't by much but the 8S was bigger. Not for me to explain or understand, just very frustrating how designers must/can change the specs or something. So off to return again and I'm totally giving up on these which is a shame b/c they are really cute, hence the 4 stars only for the "style".

I just bought two pair of womens Levi's, I'm so unhappy with them after I wear them for 2 hours they have stretched so much they are baggy. The denim is so thin I paid quite a bit for two pair that I probably won't wear.

I ordered 2 pair of 505 6short. This pair is 2" shorter than the other pair and too small in the waist. I'm so glad I checked before packing them in my suitcase. What a drag! What happened to quality control?

I usually don't write reviews, but this purchase really disappointed me. When I tried them on, prior to washing, the fit was great-snug with a bit of stretch. After washing and wearing for an hour, they began to stretch out, and kept on stretching all day long, until I could pull them off without unbuttoning them! They looked terrible by the end of the day, and I cant return them. Now they become expensive yard work pants. If you are considering these, you might want to see if you can wear the next size down!

The denim used in these jeans is very thin and does not retain its shape at all. If you scratch the surface of the denim, bits of the material [Pilling? Lint? Not sure of the appropriate term] come away! After only two washings, I was unable to to continue wearing the jeans as they had "stretched out" to such a degree that the crotch was 6" lower than where it had started and the bunching at the ankles ran up about as many inches up the leg! I have two other pair of 505 Straight Legs that I purchased years ago from a bricks-and-mortar that are of much better quality. Not sure why these are so markedly different; but now that I do know that there is a difference, I won't buy sight unseen again.

I previously bought the Levi's 505, Studio blue a few months ago and the jeans were perfect. Real denim. I just bought another pair of the exact same color and style and the material was stretchy, and definitely not the same even though the material listed on the tag was the same. These jeans are awful.

The fit of these jeans is great, but I have to agree with the other reviewers: the quality of the fabric is awful. I wore these for a week and I can already see wear on the fabric (where it is thinning). I would return them if I could.

I am very unhappy with these jeans. They fit great when I tried them on and a bit snug after washing, but I am good with that. But they stretch out so badly! They are awful. After one hour they are so big! And I couldn't return them because they were not in resalable condition. They are huge in the waist and gut area. I am very disappointed, I really wanted these jeans because it's hard to find a dark wash that doesn't have worn out looking spots.
