The boots are great I purchased for my husband. I ordered his true size and the fit perfectly. I needed something easy on easy off as he requires assistance with putting shoes on. The are great, durable and safe!

Just what I expected. Easy to slip on and off. Very comfortable.

Perfect for that impatient husband who wants to wear boots in the rain but has no time to tie them! He loves these and said they r very comfortable

I like these boots. They are warm and waterproof, and appear to be well made. They offer better traction than most other rubber boots. But they are a full size too large. Sometimes I almost turn my ankle because the extra space makes them too loose on my feet. If I could go back in time, I would choose a size smaller than I normally wear, even though I have worn the same size all of my adult life.

Great boots but simply run too big and that is why I didn't rate them 5.

I've had the boots for about 3 weeks or so, They are very comfortable and durable so far. Time will tell. 1 year warranty gives me comfort.

Tough and well insulated and easy to get on and off. And definitely a three-season boot. Keeps my feet warm in the winter snow.

Great slip on boot. Runs a bit large , but fits well with thick socks or possibly an insole. Comfortable, nice light insulation. Good traction in the snow.

This is a terrific boot, but the top leg opening needs a redesign. I cut the front pull tag off and rolled the top down slightly, and used clips to train it that way for a week, which solved the problem. It eliminated the annoyance of the pull tag on your leg and the pain or irritation of the rubber ring pulling against your leg with every step. With the top rolled down, it's comfortable and a useful boot.

Finally found an easy to slip on boot! Realky like that. They do seem to run a bit big. If I knew a size down would fit better I would replace these.

A great boot, true to size and comfortable. My only wish is that the side walls of the boot were a little stiffer. When I put on heavy socks, it is difficult to put the boots on without the side walls turning inward, making it necessary to bend over and pull them back up to enable my foot to enter the boots. This doesn't happen with thinner socks.

Great boots. Useful for snow and rain. May purchase others as time goes along.

These are just like my other boots which as also waterproof with a neoprene top -which I love. They are just not as high. But, really, Mr. Bean, would it kill you to make, or have your maker make, half sizes? I generally take a 9.5 but had to order a 10. They are quite loose fitting. An extra pair of cushioned insoles helped but not as well as having this boot in a 9.5 would have been. I considered returning these and ordering a size 9 but I was afraid they would then be too small. Or, sell them with included insoles.

The boots run a little big which is great for me because I like a wider width boot so I can wear heavier sox as the weather gets colder. They are very light weight, provide good traction and keep you dry.

I ordered a size 11 for my son who wears a 10-10.5 shoe and this boot was mammoth. He could barely keep them on. We exchanged for a size 10 and STILL too big. Still deciding if I should go to a 9 or an 8

Received these boots 8/31/21, reviewing on 4/1/23. Good: these boots are incredibly comfortable. I wear them all around town, and they have seen some good use over the past two years. They have a very wide toebox, so without being " foot shaped" shoes, they fit the bill. The merino wool on the inside is lovely and comfortable, and they were at one point quite waterproof. The bad: I admit These have seen some rather hard use, including with salt, water, exposure and shellfishing, as well as canoe launching. I did, however, expect them to last longer than they have. Two years life expectancy seems to me to be a cheap big box store boot, not something I spent over $100 on from L.L. Bean. Not sure if this is standard experience or an isolated one, but from reading other reviews, I find others have had similar problems. mostly the problems are at the ball of the foot where the rubber bends with walking, and also where it joins the rubber sole.

i wear 9.5 in all my other shoes/boots. i ordered size 10 since ll bean don't do 1/2 sizes. boots were more like size 11 0r 12! sent back and exchanged for size 9, but still on the big side but ill make do with them wearing thick socks.

I also have numerous splits in my pair of these boots. They separate at the sole and slit in the toe flex area.

I love alot about these boots. They do tend to run a lil big, but 10s fit me great. They feel really nice when I'm wearing em, easy to get on n off, there's just a huge problem with the quality. The bottom began to separate pretty fast, making them no longer water proof. Sorta ruins the whole point of this kind of boot, but they still work on dry days... at least till they come apart completely. What are you doing L. L. Bean??

Not even close to right size, sent back and haven't heard from company yet, been a couple weeks or so.

11/2021 I purchased this in black size twelve. I normally wear size 12. This boot in that size was too large. Thick socks and insoles did not help. I returned the 12's for 11's much much better. The boots are warm well built and easy on and off. Only problem now was the front pull tab rubs against my shin. Thick socks do not help, pants inside the boot are uncomfortable. I tried to make these wonderful boots work for me but that pull tab sewn on the top of the inside of the boot is too rough on the shin. Would be cautious about this design.

Had issues with these boots. Bought in Jan 2023 and they ended up like this.
