I ordered one size larger from the catalog.
First, on the left foot, the stitching running along the left side towards the toe on my left foot arched too far to the right, causing the toe area to be pulled in that direction. It was visually not as it should be.
Second, with both left and right slippers, the front halves became too narrow, causing my toes to feel extremely cramped.
Third, if I chose a larger size, my already loose-fitting heel would have been even more loose.
I returned them for refund. Another lesson learned from ordering by catalog.
Sorry, L.L. Bean! I tried. Your toes on these slippers and others become narrow too sharply long before the widest part of our feet.

Received today, returning tomorrow. "Plush shearling lining" is thin and not very warm or cushioning. Sole is not as thick as on my $30 De..f..m slippers. Way too expensive for quality.

Pair does not match; one wider than the other and right shoe not aligned to foot. Result is a heel runover to the inside. Poor quality control!

This was an aberration. Upper and sole were not in line on left moc, shearling lining was skimpy on right moc. Lack of pull tab or strap hindered putting on. Most unusual for the wicked good line.

I bought these for myself as I had done in past with mens moc boot. There used to be a tie and detail, looked stylish and were very comfortable. One of the slippers had a dark mark on top but regardless looked like mini leather boats wrapped around my feet.

Heel shape in back was pushed in too far, uncomfortable to wear. Returned & waiting for my refund. Still waiting

LL bean shoes are too narrow. Bought these in a wide and compared to a regular in the store and there is no difference. Way too narrow for even a normal foot. Too bad, i really wanted these!

The good: these are warm and comfortable when sitting around on a cold winter day.
The bad: there is no support at all. Walking on tile and hardwood floors is not comfortable.
More bad: the twine (yes, twine) stitching along the top seems to have begun wearing out already, just after a couple of weeks of wear. These would not last long if I were keeping them.
The weird: the tops of the slippers seem reversed compared to the soles. Maybe these were made to fit some non-human feet? Had to look carefully each time I put them on. Not the usual LL Bean quality. I have initiated a return.

The good: these are warm and comfortable when sitting around on a cold winter day.
The bad: there is no support at all. After about two weeks wearing these daily on a mix of tile, hardwood and carpeted floors, my feet began to hurt. The pain got unbearable, and I had to switch to wearing real shoes indoors to be able to walk without pain.

Very disappointed with these slippers. The right slipper instep flap unraveled, the flap fell forward and the slippers are useless. They lasted about 1 week before this happened so I can't return them. Just wasted $100. Maybe someone can get some use out of them, donating to the local shelter.

I wear a size 13. there is no tab on the back which makes these very difficult to put on without a shoe horn.

This slipper was too big. It did not fit comfortably or snug around the heel. It appeared to have been manufactured too large. These slippers were returned.

Very disappointing. Bought as a gift and weeks later they are coming apart. Bad enough when you buy a -high priced-inferior product for yourself but worse when it's a gift

Couldn't get to fit right because it doesn't come in half sizes. Plus, there's an irritating tag on bottom inside of shoe, it's unbelievable they would put it there, definitely don't waste your time with this slipper

Love the slippers. But within a month, a seam on the top has started to tear.

These slippers are supposed to be an 11W and they are narrower and shorter than my regular size of 10-1/2W. They have to be returned.

They aren't made well. Inside filler is uneven. We returned them and are waiting to receive another pair hoping this pair will be made better.

I wore these for ONE day and they're already coming apart. I wanted to like them so much, I love the design and idea, but the execution is terrible. These are really poorly made; the leather is super thin and the stitching started coming undone in ONE day of wearing them gently indoors. Definitely not worth the $100+ LLBean charges.
