great fit and nice quality. Would recommend to anyone.

I wore a pair off Stormchasers for years - and, I mean YEARS. As those years have passed by, my feet grew a tad wider and longer. I could no longer put the boots on my feet without a struggle. I ordered this newer version of the Stormchaser in a half size larger, and I can put them on my feet with ease. They have the same look and superb function in all weather and conditions as my older ones, but I really like the soles and the lacing much, much better on these newer boots That's the good news. The bad news - for L. L. Bean - is that I expect these to last me for as long as I live, and so I won't be needing to buy another pair!

I had previously purchased the Wildcat Pro boots a long while back and had issues with them during this years bad storms. LL Bean graciously accepted my return and I replaced them with the Stormchasers. I will say the Stormchasers are much more comfortable and well made.

After about a month of winter I'm very happy with these boots. They're warm and very comfortable especially when working in them to clear away snow. They slip on easily so they're handy to pop out to walk the dogs around the house and gather wood from our outdoor rack. Threads work well on ice or snow.

Absolutely LOVE these boots! They keep my feet warm and dry. I looked, researched and tried other brands and none compare to these. The soles offer great stability in the snow.

Comfortable and keep feet perfectly dry and warm. Laces a little too long but that's minor.

Sales person suggested an 8 1/2 Wide because of a bunion issue and they fit great. Love the ease of tying them unlike my hiking boots. So far wearing very well!

Bought these boots to survive building a horse barn in Canaan Valley WV. BELOW ZERO for 3 weeks. My feet never got cold or wet. Awesome! Very comfortable.

Bought these boots to replace an older version of the same boot. I loved the older version but the stitching had come undone a the older boots were no longer dry in wet conditions. These new boots are dry and lightweight. I work outdoors and need solid lightweight shoes and these boots are great.

These boots are a gift for a very dear friend. He was in dire need of the boots and very grateful to go shopping with me to get them. You can't beat LL Bean for comfort and reliability!

This works for hiking in snow with or without gaiters. Wide is perfect fit

Very comfortable. A little wide for my foot causing some buckling when laci g so will see how they hold up. Great winter walking/hiking boot.

I wanted to wear these a bit before leaving a review, and I am thrilled with the boots I purchased. The wide size fits my wide feet very well, no comfort issues at all, which is rare with my shoe purchases. They've got good arch support, they keep my feet warm, and after shoveling snow out of my driveway today, I can confirm they kept my feet completely dry from the powder that was covering them for the last few hours. Very happy with this purchase.

My husband was very happy with these boots, shovelling over a foot of snow for about 2 hours in 15 degree temps. They kept his feet warm and dry.

I bought these a month ago to replace super old Bean winter boots that finally gave in. I love them! They fit incredibly well and are really comfortable to walk in. I got the wide and regular and kept the regular. Wide felt too roomy on top of my foot. Not the warmest ever but great for snow, wet ground, and comfy walking.

I bought these boots for my husband for Christmas and he's thrilled. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable as well as sturdy.
