These were excellent slippers while they lasted, unfortunately the fleece was wearing faste from the back of the heel, bottom of the heel, and balls of the feet within 3 months and gone in 4 months. The stitching securing the tounge to the sides of the slippers started unraveling after 4 months.
I definitely expected to get more than 1/3 - 1/2 a year out of these.

Not worth the price at all. My husband has only had his pair for a month & a half and only wears them in the evenings around the house, but there are already holes and rips in them. He is so disappointed since they were extremely comfortable when he first put them on. When I reached out to customer service I was told I need to repackage & ship the bad ones back and wait for an exchange or refund. LLBean is known for their quality and customer service and I was really surprised that this happened and that it would be a pain for me to get a new pair.

I purchased these slippers because of the satisfaction with a previous order for the same item. However, these slippers, although noted as same size as first order, were smaller and more difficult to put on. When I checked the slippers there was no size noted/identified at all on the slipper. All I could go on concerning size was the previous order history. I have no packing slip to confirm size either.

I wore these slippers only in the house, yet they started wearing holes within 8 months with only casual wear (yes, I have the correct size because I tried multiple pairs). By month 14, my slippers looked more like sandals.
I sent a courteous email to LL Bean 15 months after purchase, acknowledging that I was aware their lifetime guarantee policy recently changed, but I would still like help. I was curtly informed that LL Bean never had a "lifetime guarantee" policy (okay, okay, semantics), despite what their website indicated at the time of purchase. I was told I could mail them my slippers for "evaluation." No apology; no promise to make things right; just a vague statement that I could pay to mail them my shoes. Then what? Will you send them back at my expense? Fix them? Provide a new pair?
With such odd communication and lack of accountability for their customer promise at the time of purchase, I decided to wear wool socks with these slippers-turned-sandals until they literally fall apart, then find a new brand.

Not durable. Bottom inner lining wore down to the bare animal skin it was made from after normal indoor use. Way overrated! Not worth the money. Have bought these twice and twice unsatisfied. Will not buy again. LL Bean customer for over 30 years.

Some of the most uncomfortable slippers I have worn. They feel VERY narrow and tight. This would be ok if it was just the leather, as it would stretch over time, but the sole feels very narrow as well. Narrow to the point where walking in them feels like walking on a balance beam.

This is the 3rd pair i've owned in 10 years. My last pair lasted prob 4ish years. Was really happy with the product. However, I bought these last month before Christmas, and after about a week of wearing them in the house, they started to break in, which is fine. However the heel of the L slipper does not catch my heel when I walk now. It has "stretched out" without my feet stretching them much. My last pair (after years of use, and was pretty stretched out) felt better than this L slipper on my foot. It's very annoying and awkward to walk sometimes because the R one still fits true to size, the L one, however, since being broken in is not. It has never happened on any of the slippers I've owned previously or any other shoe. Very disappointed

My wife gave me these as an early Christmas present. I had asked for them specifically, so was very excited to open them. Unfortunately, my happiness was quickly extinguished when I put the slippers on and discovered that my big toe did not fit into the sole, and instead was squished over the edge of the sole. This makes no sense to me, as I ordered a half size up, and I do not have wide feet (if anything, my feet are a bit narrow). I don't understand how anyone can wear these. Super disappointed.

They feel funny - not fuzzy and warm. The fuzz on the bottom pilled up and matted down almost immediately. I am going to return them as soon as I figure out the instructions. I need new fuzzy slippers and really wanted these to work but they just feel funny.

****Can't see what I'm reviewing...item is required, but no option is given at start of the review. I'm reviewing size 14 Venetian slipper
I purchased these for my adult son as a replacement for moccasin type slippers I purchased last year. The mocs fell apart, so I wanted to try another style. He loved the fit of the mocs but hated these, stating several times he'd received two of the same side/foot slipper. This wasn't the case, but he insists that his big toes are forced into the side of the slipper rather than allowed to follow what should be the natural contour of the slipper. I'll be sending them back but haven't decided if I'm going to look into the relatively short period of time the mocs lasted.

Soles of slippers too narrow-tended to roll over on the side, and didn't cup the heel at all.

I have been purchasing the wicked moccasin for years. I decided to try the slipper in the same size. It is way too small. I normally wear a 7.5 and purchased a size 8.

I bought this item in March 2017. It is comfortable, no questions asked. However, it is now July 2017 and a massive hole has formed on the side.
Obviously, every day I wear these slippers the hole gets bigger. I estimate that in about 2 or 3 months I will have to throw away this pair of sleepers. So I would have been the lucky owner of wicked good slippers for about 8 months.

The first shoe that I had the hair came off in the heel area, with very sloppy heel support. The second pair shoes that I return these for also did the same thing using the hair is sloppy fitting.
With that I installed an insole and gained some comfort back. Now a couple weeks later that size 11 shoe is now a size 13 and growing. These are probably the worst fitting as well as made moccasins that I have owned, I always looked towards llbean for quality products, guess I have to look elsewhere.

I ordered these because I previously had a pair of the moccasin type but didn't want the ties. Unfortunately these are simply too narrow and are not offered in a wide size. Additionally they have a tag sewn into them that pokes into your foot (that was ripped out immediately).
1 more thing, the stuffing/padding (furry stuff) falls out. Someone should rethink these and make them more like the moc which is otherwise awesome.
Returned..

I am a women who has a D width. None of the women's slipper come in that width so I ordered mens. I swear there is no way in heck this slipper is a D width, it fits more like a C width. I don't believe any man would be able to fit their feet into this slipper unless their foot is very narrow. With that said I know that they will eventually stretch out and the lining will flatten to allow more room. I am just not sure I can stand wearing them long enough to let that happen. They are not even that nice looking but I was willing to sacrifice looks over fit.

Bought a pair of these, the leather was so thin that within 6 mos my toes were coming through the front of the slippers. Exchanged them for another pair, same thing all over again.
Never wore them outside the house.

I bought this pair of slippers for my boyfriend. He is a size 11. However, the size 11 for this style is too small and narrow.

Big disappointment! These slippers fit like they are 2 sizes smaller and they are extremely narrow and tight. Slippers are supposed to be comfortable! And I shouldn't have to pay a $6.50 processing fee to return something that doesn't fit properly. I would have exchanged them had it not been for that, but returned them instead and will buy my slippers elsewhere.

As other reviews have stated these slippers are too tight in the ball of the foot and too loose in the heel. Very disappointed in the quality of product. Returned for refund.

They arrived quickly. One thing I can say about LLBean is that they are very reliable. However, these slippers were so ill-fitting that I returned them. A number of years ago, I had bought a wonderful pair of Wicked Good slippers. After they finally wore out, I replaced them with what I thought was the exact same thing. It wasn't. They were awful, and only lasted a year. So, I ordered a different style this time. they were worse. My last pair of Wicked slippers.

L.L. Bean has steadily been decreasing the quality and value of its products as they have gone worldwide for manufacturing and not in a positive way. The customer loses out when they pay for an over-priced item of poor quality, but , L.L.Bean makes more profit. This is a good example of a "flagship wicked poor" item that will not last, and costs $69.00. My trust in L.L.Bean has been exponentially decreasing over the past 10 years or so. Disappointed Customer of many years.

The quality has really gone downhill since the last pair I bought. The interior fill is sparse and not close to the same quality.
Sent them back immediately!
