The Mocassin itself is very good quality, the only surprising thing to me was the leather sole bottom, is slippery when walking on carpet, and looks like the leather sole will wear out quickly if taken outside, so I will be returning this Mocassin. I thought I could wear it outside and thought it would have a different bottom.

They're very nice slippers just sucks. They don't make up in a wide, but in just a narrow which most people's feet don't fit.

The leather soles are very slippery. I could not wear the slippers over the fear of falling.

This is my second pair of leather double soled slippers. I still have my first pair but the bottoms wore through and I've repaired them with Gorilla tape. But, I wanted a new pair and bought these. Good fit and handsome looking slippers. Very slippery when new so it takes some caution when walking. I had the Bison slippers previously and I think I prefer them. The shearing lining in these leather slippers is less than what came in the earlier pair of leather or my more recent Bison slippers. For the cost of these slippers I expected more, so that is why I only gave them 3 stars.

Great slipper but it's too tight. Wish it came in a wider width

My husband loves them. Fit exactly what he thought it would be. Wears them everywhere.

Fit is way too loose, I have a narrow foot and they feel like an open back slipper!

Good when I watching TV, I have to change to proven good slippers for walk about. I have another good looking pairs from same catalog. Hurt my feet bad. Definitely ll bean is not a shoe company.

Good night slippers but bad quality control lighting on the inside bottoms is loose so you're constantly fighting with it on the inside of the slipper

Seems well made.y fortunately the size 10 slippers were too big for my husband - even when tightened he walked right out of them - and the size 9 pair were too small. Both were returned.

It is not as comfortable or durable as I had hoped. Too expensive for the product. I will be returning them. But don't get me wrong- they are a quality moccasin.

Very slippery soles. Exchanged for a traditional moccasin.

Left slipper was fine, but the right slipper was sloppy loose. Both slippers were 11 D, but the right slipper felt like a completely different slipper. I was really looking forward to the upgrade, but was sadly disappointed. That's okay, I seem to be happier with a less expensive slipper. Sorry.

These were very comfortable slippers until recently (I bought them in May of 2018), but unfortunately the leather laces have worn through the lining inside the left slipper and have started to rub against my foot.
I'm going to reach out to Customer Support and see if they can do anything for me.

I've ordered LL Bean slippers for my husband for years and have never had a problem with any of them. They have fit well and been durable, which is important for the abuse my husband gives his slippers. This time I wanted to get him something a little nicer looking and when these arrived, they were beautiful! But they didn't fit. The instep was too low and he couldn't get his foot into them (they were wide enough). I always read the reviews for any product I buy and didn't see anything about this in any of them. I was disappointed, but not enough that I won't continue to order his tried-and-true slippers Just wish this had been mentioned somewhere. Fortunately, he was able to give them to his son, who loves them!
I said that I would not recommend this product to a friend if I knew if they have a high instep

I've been buying this slipper every 2 to 3 years for approximately 30 years. Without fail, within a few weeks (or days with my most recent purchase) the laces come untied. It's very frustrating, to say the least. The slippers aren't cheap. Except for the laces, the quality is outstanding. Will I buy them again, I'm not sure. I am sure that I'm very disappointed.

I have purchased your moose hide flannel lined for many years. They were soft leather and very comfortable out of the box. These were very stiff leather and the shoe is cut narrow where the seam rubs my toe, because the fleece lining does not cover the seam. Wish I could give them a good review, because they look nice. Sad the old style is no longer available.

I have been buying the LL Bean Bison Shearling lined slippers for years. This year those slippers were not available and I had to order the Leather Double Sole shearling slippers. The slipper were off in there appearance as the right toe box area smaller than the left toe box. The narrow right slipper cased irritation on the outside of my right foot. After adjusting the leather lace, it was better.
However, there is a distinct difference in the appearance. I received them Christmas morning and was wearing them with bare feet. So, as the right slipper started to bother me, I figured that I could not returned them after wearing them.
So, I guess I am stuck.

I like the fact that the leather slipper is great, and the wool insole was great, however the wool is not replaceable. So the outside holds up well, however I am disappointed that I can not replace the wool.

Slipper was beautifully crafted and quite comfortable. The design had the leather wrapping around the bottom of the slipper and therefore no conventional sole. The leather made it quite slick and suspectable to slipping, and possible falls. I returned it and plan on looking at LL Bean for the same slipper basically but WITH a sole, whether it be rubber or other non-slip surface.
Disappointed,

Overpriced in my opinion, the slippers are long and narrow, like a typical AorB width.
