Birthday gift for my husband. His response was, "Where have these been all my life". Excellent quality materials and craftsmanship. He is thrilled and so am I.

I received these shoes promptly. They are well made and quite comfortable. I have a problem to solve with them so I can fully enjoy them. The sole is too smooth for and old man of 85 to wear around the house. I need to find a way to rough the sole to prevent a slip or fall. Non-skid tape should solve that problem.

I am 83 years old. This is my third pair of shearling-lined LLBean slippers. Second pair had a man-made soles. I prefer the natural leather sole. I put them on when I enter the house and wear them constantly when in-doors. I wouldn't consider any other slipper.

These shearling lined leather slippers are simply great. They look classy, fit well, are comfortable and warm, and reek quality. Snug fit at first but quickly assume the shape of your foot and then remain perfect.

2nd pair I have gotten for husb. He really likes them. They fit true to size and are really well made. Last him a long time and he wears them daily and if I don't watch him, he might go outside in them ...!!! I love these leather, shearling lined slippers. The quality of the leather and the stitching is excellent, and they feel great on your feet. When brand new, they are slick on the bottom and they do slide on carpet, but if you briefly walk outside on your sidewalk or driveway to scuff the bottom, then they grip carpet just fine. One note: in my opinion, the fit guidance in the product description is incorrect. It recommends half-sizes ordering UP. (The funny thing is, when the slippers arrived, they included a card that says the opposite--it's important the slippers fit tightly when new, because they will stretch and compress the wool interior.) Anyway, my feet are size 10.5, so I ordered 11.0 per the catalog guidance. The slippers were way too big--when I walked, the back of the slippers came off my heels. So I sent them back for size 10.0, and the fit was perfect. Nice slippers, great quality, I would definitely buy them again.

Best men's slippers I've ever owned! Extremely well made. Very warm. If you wear socks with your slippers, order the next size up. Took a few days to break them in and they fit perfectly! Definitely recommend them.

I purchased these slippers for my son who is very particular about what he wears. They are classy looking. He loves them, they are his go to footwear when he is home. I highly recommend them to everyone. The size is accurate.

LL Bean indoor/outdoor slippers are the best. Hubby gets a pair every other year or so. He has a few different styles and loves them all. They never wear out but he likes having the newest - LOL. He carries a pair in his vehicle for when he is on road trips, a pair in his suitcase for when he is flying somewhere, a pair at mom's house, and the rest on his feet or in closet. So comfortable, warm and handsome-looking. (He and his slippers:-)

These were a Christmas gift for my husband. This is his third pair of these slippers over the years and eventually he just wears them out. He still loves them and wears them all the time. Warm & comfy and always a big hit on Christmas morning. Particularly welcome on a morning that's minus 9 degrees. :-)

These slippers are fantastic. They're tough as nails, my last pair just gave up the ghost after 12 years (I wanted to hang onto them but my wife made me toss them. I made a ceremony out of it.). Two things to note: first, they run about 3/4 of a size small in length, but the width is fine (I'm usually a 10 D with every kind of boot and shoe, but had to exchange these for an 11, which fits perfectly with or without socks). Second, there's a video at the bottom of the website page that demonstrates a knot that has so far kept the laces from coming untied. A small but irritating inconvenience has disappeared as a result. LL Bean handled my exchange with alacrity. I'm very satisfied and will be back in another 10 years for a third pair.

These are just about the best slippers that you can buy. I've had a few pairs over the years that would have lasted much longer had I not worn them outside! I now have other Bean slippers for that purpose! The leather soles are definitely made for indoor wear and hold up really well if you take care of them. The leather is fantastic and rewards regular conditioning like an old saddle that's become your best friend over the years. Recently, LLBean replaced a pair that had worn our prematurely. What more can you ask for. A great product and great customer service! Others have stated that these slippers are a bit pricey. I think that they're worth the cost and that they compete very well with more expensive items like the Ugg's. Thank you LLBean !

Extremely well made, beautiful leather, fit exactly to size. A little pricey but would definitely recommend.

I really really like these slippers. I have abused them but unlike other reviewers, I found they lasted. Soles are durable. As to abuse, I have a minor foot condition so the wool eventually gets contaminated & turns black in places. Believe it or not, I just soak the insides with peroxide & wash them in the washing machine with soap for fine wool sweaters. Then I put some polish on while wet, let them dry. Buff & spray with a leather finisher. Astonishing, this works and they are basically close to the same as new! I even go out in on the porch in the snow with them. They're warm and healthy for the feet. Plus, I find them comfortable. Just great. Wool crushes a bit, so although they are a bit smallish, doesn't matter much.

These are exceptionally comfortable, durable, and warm. I suggest you get one size larger than normal to make them easier to put on/take off. As good as or better than comparable UGGs. You will have toasty feet all winter.

Have owned and worn out several pairs of these slippers. Tried a different style just once, ended up giving those slippers to my spouse and went right back to my favorite slippers. Nuttin better!!

I gave my husband these slippers as an early Christmas gift, since his old slippers were causing him problems. He said these were the best slippers he has ever had, and he celebrated his 92nd birthday this last July.

I got these as a birthday gift from a dear friend, and I love them. HOWEVER, that being said, they are VERY, VERY slippery. Shortly after wearing them, I slipped down a flight of stairs to the landing, and there was NO stopping me. For safety reasons, I have multiple times, sanded the bottom to rough up the bottoms. I use them daily for my indoor foot wear.

Great quality. Would highly recommend scuffing the soles on concrete, other wise you are sock-skating on carpeted floors, and going for a ride on carpeted steps.

Very comfy slipper except the leather lace rubbed against the top of my foot when I walked.

These are fantastic slippers. I ordered them for my husband's birthday, and he loves them.

Nice and warm, fit well and getting more and more comfortable each day. The only complaint I have is I have to tie the lace on the left one every day or so.

Too pricey to give it 5 stars but does fit nicely after a couple weeks of wear. I had no problems with being too slippery and in fact are times when these soles prevent falls. If you tend to slide your feet when walking or are not that steady, the grip soles can catch and trip you. Hope no one has to worry about this but when I had drop foot these were perfect since sole would not catch when foot dropped....buy these if eve get drop foot (and realize there is surgery to repair that).
