The height of the back of the slipper is too tall. It kept slipping up and down on my heel. I guess if you wore slippers it might hold it in place, or in time the slipper might relax back there.
And PLEASE LL BEAN, explain why every slipper now has to have an outdoor sole. There is only the suede boot moc left with a soft bottom.

I've worn and loved a few different types of LL Bean sheepskin slippers over the years and wanted to replace an old tie-up pair with these. I'm a solid size 8.5M and sized down to 8 (contrary to the brand's recommendation), as I usually do. The construction around the left toe was oddly crumpled, and the fit was very sloppy out of the box (and would have gotten worse with wear, after the wool tamped down). They were the right length but slid off my heels when I walked. I've never had this problem with LL Bean slippers before. I wonder whether the quality has declined or the sizing has changed. So disappointed, because I'd been eying these for a while. Regretfully had to return them.

These slippers just came after I ordered the plum ones on sale. I've had wicked good slippers for YEARS, but these just don't measure up. They fit small, and it's not because of lots of extra warm shearling filling. In fact, the coziness I always bought these for is less than in past purchases. They're stiff and not soft and supple. I'll have to wear them since I bought them on sale, but now I know why they were on sale. I'm very disappointed. I don't recommend them, even on sale.

I've had these slippers for a little over a year and have only worn them in the winter months, which granted is November through March where I live. The slipper are in great shape other than the inside lining (the shearling) sole being worn out were my toes and ball of my foot are in this slipper. There is no way to replace the sole in this slipper (like I could in the Old Friends shearling slippers I have had), which is so disappointing since the rest of the slipper is in great condition.

I bought these several days ago. I bought my regular size 9. From the reviews I thought the mocs would be too big but they fit fine on my feet. The ankle portion digs in to the back of my ankles.

I already have wicked good slippers, but I liked these for the color and the rubber sole. I ordered the same size as my current slippers. They were a bit small, and way too tight (and I have narrow feet). The stitching rubbed uncomfortably on my toes. I don't think going up a size would alleviate this problem. I returned them. I really wanted to like them :(

I returned the slippers. I was annoyed that there was a plastic tag in each one that would have been hard to cut off and would irritate my feet if I didn't remove them. Also the back of the slipper hit my heel and was not comfortable. Loved the color though.

While I loved the materials used, I didn't like the lack of foot support. Wish they had the clog style sole. Also disappointed in quality control, slippers had two different width.

I purchased these in 2020. I immediately returned them because of a manufacturing issue with the stitching and/or cut of the tongue that resulted in the right boot tongue flopping over. The replacement had the same issue so I gave up. Photos show the replacement slippers when I received them and now. I just checked in with LL Bean customer service since it's been a few years to see if there was anything they can do now, and the best they can offer is I can mail them in and they'll look at them to see if they agree that there is a manufacturing issue. I have again given up. Check your slippers for this issue!

Huge in width. Supposed to be snug at first but these are so wide my foot lifts right out. Also, the leather material is very floppy and loose.
Perhaps previously worn? Feels like it. Very disappointing. Not the quality expected of LLB.

I ordered up a half size as recommended, but they were too long and way too loose in the heel. They flopped off my heels with every step. I had to return for a smaller size. Hoping they fit!

With a shoe, a person whose foot is in-between sizes, needs one where the foot bed matches the foot; otherwise, a foot bed that does not match the sole of one's foot has problems because the foot bed is hitting pressure points it should not be hitting. Therefore, although a wicked perfect slipper would be a Wicked Good Slipper crafted to include people with a half-size sole.

I love my wicked good slippers. I have gotten a few pairs for Christmas over the years and decided to switch up my usual style with the moccasin bootie.
I have been enjoying them for about a month now, and the inside has remained soft, warm, and uncrushed, unlike some other lined booties and slippers from other brands. I was so happy with them, until I noticed the main stitching unraveling from where the top meets the bottom portion. I will likely be exchanging under the 1 year warranty on the product and hope maybe it was just a production flaw on the pair I received.

I ordered these to replace my well-worn Wicked Good Slippers. Pretty color, boot style and rubber sole that I wanted, but fit was too narrow, even in the heel (highly unusual for me). Wide comes only in brown, so I chose to return rather than exchange.

Wanted to love them but they just aren't the same as the other pairs I have. Padding is less, it is uncomfortable around the ankles (tighter and hits in an awkward spot). The color is a pretty blue though.

I love the color of the blue boots but it ends there. They were rather clunky and stiff. I like that these can be worn outside to take out the trash but my feet slipped around despite my wide Flintstone feet. I just could not warm up to them and returned them for something cozier.

Beautifully made, and good fit on the foot, but it really messes with my gait. Kinda like walking in snowshoes. As though the back of the heel protrudes too far. Unfortunately I'll be returning these.
I've had the regular Wicked Good Slippers (without the rubber sole) for decades, actually on my second pair, and the stitching has finally started to let loose. I thought I'd try these as a change and so I could make short trips outside the house in them, but looks like I'll be buying my third pair of Wicked Good Slippers, or maybe I'll try the Mountain Slipper Boot Moc

I bought a second pair of these because I wear my original pair every day in winter and figured they could use a break. I can't speak highly enough about my original pair, which are slipper perfection. They encompass my feet in warmth without making them sweaty and have a great sole for quick trips to the basement or outside. Assuming a new pair would be the same, I confidently ordered them online. Devastatingly, although the new ones are still beautifully made with the best natural materials, the ankles are so tight that I can barely wrestle them on, and then they dig around my ankles, which are of a normal size. Why did Beans change the fit of these? My hope is that they didn't and I just received a weird pair. Back they go.

Bought mine on sale. Comfy looking but I got two right feet, and then would've had to buy them again at full price if I wanted a normal looking pair.

I was really hoping I would love these slippers because my feet always get cold inside and I am working from home. They looked like something my father would wear. Not a womens slipper. They ran large and wide too. I returned and sad I had to pay $6.50 return shipping charges.

These are cozy, but sadly they do not offer much, if any, support, despite having real indoor/outdoor soles. I will be returning.

Why go through all of the trouble of making this slipper only to put the tag in the seam on the bottom where it pokes you? I expect the best quality out of LL Bean and this small detail was enough to make me return them.

I pondered for hours which slipper to get, I wanted a house shoe that would keep my feet warm w/out socks. I decided to go w/the boot so that the top of foot and ankle would be covered since I have a drafty house.
I got the blue. The color was ok, but the shoe itself is lumpy and bumpy, looks funky. It is hard to get on, I wouldn't recommend it for older people.
The back of the boot hits me too high up the leg causing discomfort because it is so stiff, it is about 1/2 inch too high for where I need it to be.
For some reason the tag is placed inside and scratches the middle of my foot. Why not use a softer fabric it the tag has to be there? Or put it up by the ankle so it can be removed w/out the risk of tearing the lining?
As far as the warmth, it is ok, the sheepskin is soft and comfortable, it is better than the faux sherpa I have in other slippers. They aren't quite as warm as I had hoped for even after having them on for a few hours.
I will give these shoes a few more days to see if the back starts to soften up a bit, and if I keep them I will cut the tag out. For $100.00 these shoes aren't that great. The last several items I have purchased from LL Bean I have had to return, they just aren't what they used to be.
