I loved the way this looked and fit fine but the fleece does not come up far enough on the back so it rubbed on my heel. I had to exchange for the other fleece booties.

I have to wear socks with it because the inside is itchy.

The high backs are difficult. The backs need a boot loop to help pull them up. The backs have too much forward slant. The top of the back rubs my Achilles tendon and raised a blister. The sole treads add security and are appreciated, but the soles are thin and make uneven surfaces uncomfortable to walk on. The fleece on the soles is very nice when you first put them on, but mats down with wear and becomes uncomfortable. The Mocs are well-made. The fleece is pleasantly warm and I love the color, but I think L.L. Bean could do better.

This boot is very wide. I wear a 6B, and it just flopped on me. Also, no arch support, very little padding, and you can feel the seam on the back of the ankle. I have tried 3 styles of LLBean slippers, and none of them worked for me. I don't get what all the fuss is about

These are my 4th pair of slippers. They aren't nearly as nice as the others. The padding is much less, the fur isn't as plush and they are tighter above the ankles. The color is pretty though. Wish they were as nice as the others.

I wanted to love these but the back of the shoe is too wide and loose even before wearing in the shearling. The left bootie was noticeably bigger than the right one, so there was a quality issue as well. They felt baggy around my ankles, not snug and cozy.

It is very secured( safely ) track( no slippery). It was developed better from the old one which is I still njoyin'& wearing inside my house:). But it still felt a little hurt both side ankle or front upper front feet( while walked ). The way it designed higher of slipper or could b bcuz of its very new.

Love the color (purple) and lining (cozy)... the sizing is off for me. I'm a 6.5 so I went with the 7 (which I typically do in slippers). They're big and slip in the heel quite a bit. Based on other reviews I'm afraid going down to a 6 would be too small. The slipping is causing them to rub on my ankle. I'm keeping them but sizing down might have been a better option. Dropping stars because of the running and lack of 1/2 sizes. If you wear a solid 7 they're a great buy.

Beautiful color, well-made shoe like slipper. I returned it because I immediately noticed that it slipped on my heel as I walked. I knew it would become unacceptably sloppy as the shearling compacted with use.

The description said if you wear a half size, order up, which I did. However, when I received them a card said they are supposed to fit pretty snug at first then stretch to form comfortably to your foot as you wear them......they are not at all snug, but too big and floppy, so I am sorry I ordered them. I also don't like the way the shearling bunches up under my toes...feels weird....so I wasted a lot of money and I can't really wear them. I wrote I'd recommend them, only because everybody is different, and some people may like them very much.

I really loved these slippers until I received them. They were bigger and bulkier looking in person. My heel was slipping out immediately, so I knew if I actually wore them any time at all, they'd be way too big! The tag placement on the inside of the slipper is absolutely insane!! It would have to be cut out immediately to even tolerate wearing these without socks. I loved the look though, and that they have a sole that could be worn outdoors, but too much money for the issues & it's ridiculous that they don't return for free!

I've been wearing the Wicked Good Moccasins for over a decade and was excited to try this style to get a little more coverage on my ankles and to switch it up. With the Wicked Good Moccasins, I've always had success ordering my true size. Between that and the recommendations from the site, I decided to order my true size. I find these to be much more roomier than the moccasins. My heel is sliding around and there's also a lot of room in the toes. This can be avoided when I wear socks, but knowing how the shearling can compress over time, I'm worried that I won't be able to keep them on my feet in a few weeks. I called customer service who was very helpful and quick at resolving my issue. I have a pair that's a size down on the way. I'm hopeful that this will solve my issue. They are nice looking and well made.

I wear a soft shoe or slipper in the house. I've developed a neuroma on my foot, and wanted something with a durable sole, but soft, and the slipper fills the bill. For me, the opening is a little small, and makes it difficult for me to put my foot in all the way and pull the counter up over my heel. It might be helpful to put an elastic gusset at the corners of the tongue to make inserting the foot a little more facile. Once my foot is in, it's almost a little "sloppy" to walk. All of that being said, the slipper is nice, warm, soft, and comfortable, and the sole is quite durable. That being sai

Sizing for the Wicked Good Slipper Boot Moc Women's is slightly different from the plain Wicked Good Slipper Moc Women's. Order the Wide width. Not as wide as the regular slipper by just a little bit but could not slip foot into the boot. Also, the tongue was just a smidgen too long and got in the way of my foot (hitting my shin and painful for "soft" material) as I tried to slip it on. I know the difference in size is just a little too small and not as wide as the Wicked Good Moc, but it would have been perfect if it had been. And I would have rather the boot had fit over the plain Moc.

I wanted to love them, but they are too tight at the top of the foot. I have to really pull to get them on. I'm sending them back as I don't think I can get used to this. I usually buy slippers, so I'm used to an open feel. I love the shearling wool. I'm trading for some slippers.

I ordered 2 sizes because I was not sure if I would be a 7 or an 8 since I normally wear a 7and a half. I found the heel to be too loose in both sizes. The leather trim that goes around the top rubbed my ankles and the tag inside was extremely annoying. That particular style was not going to work for me. I am thinking of ordering another style but if they all have the tag in the same place then I will not be happy.

After my wife wore out a pair of the original "Wicked Good Slippers" from long use, she tried 3-4 less expensive "knock-offs" and just didn't like them. When she saw these new, hard-soled "Wicked Good Slippers, Boot Moc," she thought they would be a nice Mother's Day idea, so I ordered a pair in her usual size. After trying them for less than 10 minutes, she announced that they were just not the same. They felt loose and did not hug her foot the way the original "Wicked Good Slippers" did. Thus, we sent them back to L.L. Bean and ordered a pair of the original "Wicked Good Slippers" in exchange. Her feet are now toasty warm and comfortable. The new style is well made, but they just didn't fit her foot.

I returned my first pair and it took me a few months into wearing my slippers to realize the issue, which was present with both pairs -- the stitching on the right slipper doesn't come up as high as the stitching on the left slipper, so it folds over, whereas the left slipper stays up as shown in the stock photo. So, one slipper folds over on itself while the other doesn't. With all going on in the pandemic I didn't really have the energy to try to navigate another return and have resigned myself, plus I'm not sure what a replacement pair would do since I had the same issue with both pairs. Aside from that issue, the slippers are warm and comfortable and I still wear them.

I waited for 3 1/2 month for this Wicked Good Slipper Boot Mac, and was pleased to see the high quality materials. I appreciate the real sheepskin and lightly padded footbed. I ordered my usual size, and found the length was a good fit. However, I can't keep my heel in the boot when I walk; it slips up and almost out every step I take. The boot needs a tie or piece of elastic across the top of the foot to help hold it on securely. Sadly, I'll have to return these as I think they'll be dangerous to go up and down stairs in.

My usual shoe size is 6.5 to 7 depending on the shoe so I ordered these in size 6. They feel a size too big but I am keeping them because it took several months to get them. I would try a size 5 but they are not in stock for 2 months more. The rest of the slipper is fine and there are no laces to worry about. If they weren't so big I would've rated them higher.

Good material is the reason for 3 stars given. But, the heel area is too large and the whole slipper is too large, as well. At the beginning, I thought they would be acceptable with thick socks, but after several rounds, as the shearling and the suede started to give in, it became more and more difficult to walk in them and, of course, annoying, so I started to avoid them. I have the classic wicked good slippers ($89) which are wonderful as quality and fit... same size 8. But I wanted the harder durable sole to be able to pick up my mail or other short trips outside. I read the reviews about the big heel area, however I relied on the description which says "Improved fit through the heel". It's not. I am attaching pics. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the left shoe is larger than the right shoe in the same troubled heel area.

I was so excited to get my wicked good slippers. However when they arrived the first thing I noticed was that they are smaller than my previous slippers. I have worn size 7 for years but I had to struggle to get these on. 2nd, the fleece is different- much shorter than before. On closer inspection I saw that they are manufactured in Myanmar, not the U.S. I may be too picky but I'm going to find a 'new' brand for my slippers.

Not the quality I had expected in such an expensive slipper. While the inside fit was the Wide it was supposed to be, the bottom inside lining was obviously cut for a narrower width. I couldn't feel any lining on the outer half inch or so all the way around, so it feels like I walking on loose pad just plopped into the slipper that just hits the middle of my foot. Not very warm or comfortable. So so disappointed in LLBean. Occasionally your old great standards yield winners (sweaters I bought for my husband then my son), but more often now, just low quality.

No warmth for ankles. Buy cheaper style and get the same warmth.
