Cute slippers, but as they get worn in my heel slips around and almost off the slipper. This has caused several tripping incidents and loss of balance -- not a good thing at my age!

Very warm and comfortable. Hate the bright orange soles. Why did you choose such a ridiculous color?

This is my second pair. I adored my first pair but I wore down the insole. The right shoe of my 2nd pair has a weird fit it feels off center like there's not enough cushion under the right side of my foot. It m disappointed in this because I don't feel like I got my money's worth. I e tried wearing them for two weeks but there's been improvement. Can I still return these for another pair??

The quality and craftmanship are LLBean standards. Unfortunately my mom, for whom this was bought, felt that they were too big. I have returned them.

These are warm & cozy. Wish they had half sizes. I usually wear them with socks. I wear slippers all day in the house. I would prefer a higher back.

Great slippers. Ordered my second pair. Who thought it was a good idea to put scratchy tags on the instep?

Very soft and warm slipper. Perfect size. It has more lift in the heel and arch support than i expected so i had some.knee pain as a result. The difference in support from my previous lambskin slippers throws my balance off (I'm 75 yrs old) so I've had to be careful until i am more used to them.

Nice shoe but width size to tight. I see no alternative width choice available in this shoe.

This is my second pair. I live in them during the Pandemic. They are warm, cozy and very comfortable, but the shearling lining gets clumpy and bumpy inside. I would not buy slippers with shearling lining again.

The slippers are great but the size I ordered ran really large. I am a true size 5 and they were way too big for me.

When I'm using a slightly thicker socks I don't like it when the back part folds in and I have to keep fixing them.

Soft, comfortable sole and good colors. Fit seems off. I normally wear a size 9, had to order a 8 in these to get them to fit.

Super comfortable and warm. Suggest ordering size down if you are a between sizes ( 7.5 order 7) - they stretch out. Would buy again.

The slipper feels a bit big for the size, but otherwise I LOVE IT.

Very warm, high quality, supportive. The fleece lining could be softer.

These slippers are beautifully made and so comfortable, but, unfortunately, the heel area wasn't high enough for my feet, and I kept walking out of them. The soft trim gives the illusion of a higher heel, but I just couldn't risk a fall. I returned them reluctantly because I really wanted them to work.

The shoe back is much lower than it appears because of the fluffy shearling almost like slide in slippers. Shoe is warm & well made but your foot tends to slide out easily.

These house slippers are warm, look good and have a sole that is usable outdoors. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I don't find them comfortable after about an hour or so. The soles are stiff and become less comfortable over time. I am not able to wear them all day but in the cold of the morning I can wear them for an hour or two. I'm 70 years old and do not work so I'm home much of the time.

I like these but next time I will get a boot type. I'd like these to be higher on the back of the heel.

Comfortable slippers. Are they washable? What temperature should I they be washed in and how about drying?

Good quality and nice inside sherpa. The fit is good. I wish the back is just a little higher but love the slipper.

Love these slippers. The fit as expectd, are warm and comfortable. There is a stiff label in both slippers that is right at the arch (and irritating) and not easy to remove.

A year ago or so I bought the Squam Lake slippers in my usual shoe size 8. After not very long the fluffy lining had matted down and the slippers felt too big and sloppy. They were still OK if I wore socks with them, but putting on socks in the middle of the night just to feel safe in my slippers was a no-go. I recently bought the Squam Lake in size 7 and while the lining still matts down after a short while, the smaller size fits better. These are nice slippers but buy one size smaller than your usual shoe size. Note to LL Bean: the left slipper has a squared off toe and does not match the right slipper. Other reviewers have noticed this too. Time to alert your production department!

Got these for myself as a slipper upgrade during the winter. I wanted something that was durable and warm. These definitely are a good fit for that! I like that they kind of have a back to them but not a full back. I did notice on the back right of one of my slippers where the back is (at the heal) there's a tiny indent under the fur area. That's why it did get a 4 start rating instead of 5. It's nothing that affects the shoe wear so I'm not worried about it. I'm usually a 6 1/2 but I ordered the size 6 due to the shoe being known to be on the bigger side. I have a narrow, tiny foot so I believe a 7 would have been way too big. If you have a wider foot and think you would need to size up (from a 6.5), a 7 might be a better fit for you unless there's a wide option. I did spray my slippers with a water/stain repellent spray once I got them to help prevent any future stains to them. Will come back and edit my review if anything changes!
