The back of the slipper does not go up high enough. The slipper comes off my ankle with each step I take. You might want to let potential purchasers of this issue. Thank you.

They don't even match as a pair. 2nd pair in a year. The other pair, the threads wore out and they fell apart.

Terrible experience; left slipper was defective and caused significant sloping to the left, almost off the sole. I fell once and almost fell several times. I am so angry with your company I can't look at your shoes/slippers any more. They look so pretty, but they aren't UGG. Poor construction. Vi Allan

I have purchase LLBean Wicked Good slippers several times and never experiend smelly slippers. The Squam Lake came out of
the box with an off smell I thought would go away but no the smell got worse as I wore them. Real lambs wool does not smell. I am throwing this pair away and wearing my old pair of Wicked Good Slippers. I bought the Squam because there are no ties to deal with and they are attractive. But the odor is not attractive.

These slippers are fine when you're sitting, but they slip off my feet when I'm walking, because the back is so low. Also there is a stiff, pointy tag right at the instep which I had to cut off, and in the process, cut a lot of sheepskin to get at it.

There is no other way to describe how these feel when you put them on, other then to say the footbed feels like they did not finish making them. First off, the wool is extremely thin and the footbed is incredibly uncomfortable. Where your heel goes does not even feel like there is anything under the wool, it just kind of sinks down into nothing. Then there is something hard that runs from one side to the other about where the arch should be. They are incredibly uncomfortable. I do wish I had listened to the other reviews before ordered these. It's a bit aggravating to have to spend money on postage to send back something that is so subpar that they are unwearable.

First off...not made in Maine, :( Secondly, they were way too big for a size 9...more like a size 10. And lastly, you now charge for us to return purchases. I think I'm through with shopping at LL Bean.

These were too narrow in the toe area. They are lovely and probably warm but I could not get my (fairly wide) foot into them.

Impossible to get the size right! Impossible. Wear a 7. Bought a 6 (I own a pair of 6) too big. Exchange for 5. Too small. I lose!

Can't wear with any sock, thick or thin. Feels too small. Also heel feels like it's falling off the slipper. Very pricey so I expected more. This is a Christmas present that I'll be bringing back to the store

The heel on this slipper is too low. It fits more like a mule not a full slipper

Had these for 1 year and they are already wearing through completely. They were comfortable for a bit but the quality and durability just isn't there. Would not recommend these. If they lasted longer I would. It is not the same LL Bean quality that they used to be.

from the photo I thought they were higher in the back. My feet slipped out of them so I sent them back and got a different pair

too narrow. Why can't LLBean offer wide widths. None of their women's shoes fit wide feet.

Slippers were nice and cushy, but they size way too big and fall off my feet. Sad that after waiting over a month for these slippers I needed to return them. Also not happy that I have to PAY for the return!

These slippers are a big disappointment. I ordered them on November 29, and I just received them yesterday, January 7. After such a long wait, I was excited to receive them and had high hopes. As soon as I put them on, I noticed there is a distinct difference in the design of the two shoes - specifically, the left shoe has a squared toe, and the right shoe has a rounded toe. I couldn't believe it! This sort of design flaw will drive me crazy to look at, and it is absolutely not the quality I expect from LL Bean. This is the sort of issue you would get with some cheap knock-off, not $80 slippers from LL Bean. This is totally unacceptable, and these will be going back.

I purchased these because I love love love the pair I bought two years ago and wanted a backup. These are by far inferior to the previous pair. Squared toe, no support inside and much too big. Same size as previous and I expected some snugness at first but they fell off my feet. The comfortable lining is cheaply made and does not have the wicked good feel of others I'd purchased. Disappointed in you LL.

Well made & attractive but Bean needs to figure out fit on their slippers. I wear a 6.5 so taking their advice to order up I ordered a size 7. It was huge, unwearable. This is the second pair of slippers (different styles) & both were way too big out of the box. I'm a long time Bean customer but not for their slippers.

Purchased these slippers on May 3,2020. They are 7 months old today and the lambs wool that lines the right slipper has been coming out in patches. Definitely not the same quality that L.L. Bean used to be known for. No wonder why they no longer offer their lifetime guarantee. Photo attached to show the lining missing from the slipper. The dark spots are where the lining has completely come out.

This slipper is not comfortable. The size is spot on, but the memory foam makes it feel weird, and it is not a slide or a slipper, but something in between which does not allow it to slip on easily and is just not what was expected.

This is a well made slipper. It fits like a glove. I would of given them a 10! Where they went wrong, they put a sole that feels like a rock, I have never seen anything like it. I purchased a soft sole and inserted it to the slipper. I still could not walk inside my house, the rock at the bottom would not let me walk. I have Rheumatoid arthritis and have to be careful on what I wear. This is a pair of slippers I could never wear. With regrets I had to return. Maybe for your next shipment, please don't cut corners and get a better sole.
Sorry for the negative review. I have to be honest.

I received these slippers for Christmas last year. I really loved them initially - quite warm, comfortable and I liked the royal purple color. After about two months, the stitching on one slipper came undone in two places. I continued to wear them and it got worse. They are attractive and I expected them to wear well but was very disappointed especially considering the price.
