These look like nice slippers. However, there are a couple problems. Number one is that these slippers run really big! I normally wear a size 6 1/2 to 7 shoe. I ordered a size 6 and a size 7, and they were both too big. So, then I ordered a size 5. The size 5 did fit, except for the heel area. The slipper is cut very low in the back at the heel, and my foot constantly slipped out of the back of the slipper. I tried them on for only maybe 4 or 5 minutes and realized there's no way I can keep these. If they were slipping off my foot in the back now, they would even be worse once this shearling got compacted. I have now seen a few other reviews from people with the same problem. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

My wife has been wearing a 7 for 60 years, she couldn't even get her foot inside, the slippers were nice but mis sized.

I had a previous pair of these which were fine and comfortable. When those wore out, I got this pair and noticed almost immediately that my foot kept sliding to the side and off the base of the slipper on each foot. Can't even walk in them. Very disappointed. Never had that issue with any other slippers. Very strange fit. Not going to buy these again.

I received these as a late Christmas gift and was excited to try a different pair of LLBean slippers (I have been a loyal Wicked Good sheepskin booties fan for decades). Sadly, the quality and design of these are not worthy of the LL Bean name. The back has no support and is too wide, so your feet slide off the sides when walking, and, worse, the slippers fall off on stairs when you lift your feet. I tried to wear them with thick socks, but there just isn't enough structure to the back and the sides of the heel for me to safely wear these slippers. I had my husband try them on without telling him the issue; he had the same problem. Very disappointing!! As they were a gift, I don't have the receipt and don't want to embarrass the gift-giver by asking for it. :( The only reason I rated them with two stars is that they are warm...but, unfortunately, I can't walk in them without my heels sliding off the sides or the slippers falling off my feet. Please renew my faith in LL Bean!

I do love, well loved, these slippers but after a couple days of wear they are so stretched out I can't wear them anymore. Well, I can, but I have to wear socks with them and I hate wearing socks with slippers. I've bought different pairs of LL Bean slippers in the past and have not had this problem, but I will be reluctant to buy them again for fear they'll stretch out too much and I won't be able to wear then.

I originally ordered a size 7M which were swimming on me. Since this slipper does not come in half sizes, and after reading the reviews, I ordered a size 6M. Initially, they felt comfortable when I slipped them on, but after walking around the house for a couple of hours, my feet feel cramped and the toes and one of my feet are numb. My back hurts as well. Slippers, unlike some shoes, should not have to first be broken in.The hard, inflexible soles add to the discomfort. Too bad I already wore them, or I would have returned them. Guess I'll have to stick with the moccasins that I wore for years.

I gave these slippers two stars. The quality 5, the color 5, But I realize I can't wear anything but leather LLBeans slippers. These have a wonderful soft lining inside but the shoe box doesn't allow orthotics. the sole of quite stiff so the effect is more of a clog rather than a slipper. So don't back off, fit/color/quality good just not what I wanted

These are a waste of $$ for me as they do not bend when I walk. Maybe good for someone else but not me. I gave them to my local Thrift Shop and hope someone can make use out of them.

I received these as a gift for Christmas. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 woman's shoe so ordered up a size as LLBean suggested. The slipper was too long for my feet. However, my bigger complaint is that the sole is very stiff, not a sole that is the comfy sole I wanted. This was to replace a ten year old pair of LLBean slippers that had a nubby rubberized sole that was pliable and comfortable and which was ok for little jaunts outside. The Squam Lake slippers feel more like shoes than slippers. They are not cozy. I spoke to LLBean which said that it had received feedback that people wanted slippers that were good for mailbox runs. However, the only options now available are the stiff soles such as in this slipper or soles that are only leather soles such as in the Wicked Good slippers. I am returning these slippers and will look elsewhere for slippers that have a "touch" of sole for quick outside ventures but which are still soft, pliable and cozy. I think LL Bean should have more sole options than two given its long history as a manufacturer of comfortable slippers.

The size and quality are good, but it's really a scuff - almost nothing behind your heel. They flap and clop when I walk in them, which was driving me crazy. So, I'm returning them and will try another slipper.

I've been getting LL Bean slippers for years and love them. This year I got the wicked slipper in green. Beautiful color. There's an unnecessary tag sewn in right at mid inner sole that is awful, I cut it out but some remains to annoy. The back at heel is also too low. I step out of slipper when I walk in back. They are correct size but seem too short, but not uncomfortable at toe so it's meant to be shorter in back. I like slippers to cover my heel, these do not. I wished I'd chosen a different design but I'm trying to be okay with them they were $89. I can live with back design but please do away with that sewn in tag! Sensory issues.

Poor quality - sloppy, uneven stitching, some obvious, some hidden defects, only coming to light when wearing it for some time.

Inside stitching already splitting apart quality for the price is very poor. Insole is paper thin no cushioning the top fur ruff is splitting as well, I have bought these for years and like many others have stated about the quality of items declining. For 90$ a pop I expect my slipper to last previous version did for years. On top of that Llbean is hiding the lesser reviews! They are going back regretfully sad to see this company changes ...!

Ridge at the heel and top of foot too hard/stiff. Foot does not slip in easily. All would be well if the "frame" of the slipper was of more flexible material, less shoe like.

Very disappointed in the quality control of Llbean my brand new slippers which are not cheap money already look as worn out inside as my old ones were! The stitching shows like my old ones in the sole of the slipper, and the top rolled area has a bare spot. There is less fur, not cushioned well my toes jammed into the very end with zero sheepfur just the suede. I've worn this style for years with the 90$ price tag I expect a slipper that is not defective or cheaply made. Very disappointed I have no slippers now going into winter nearest store is 1 1/2 away!

These slippers were warm and very comfortable, but I could not wear them as I could not stand the shortened heel. When I ordered these I examined the photos closely, and I took the chance that the heel was of normal height. So, the photos do not show the true heel height, and there is nothing in the text to indicate the lower heel. I had to return them.

Too big. This slipper is at least 1/2 size larger than stated size. Might be okay with heavy socks.

This slipper had a nice wool but ran 1 suze too big. I would have considered exchanging but the heel was too low as well. So I had to return. Size 9 was more like a 10. Low back would not be stable enough.

For the money, this slipper did not hold up. Poor craftsmanship. The staples came thru the inside of the slipper after only a year.

Very disappointed in this slipper. I have always worn these slippers for years. Just got a new pair in navy and the are very uncomfortable. They are supposed to have foam in the foot bed under the shearling lining and these DO NOT! These are not the "Wicked Good" slippers they use to be. Foot bed is hard and uncomfortable. LLBean needs to do better with their quality control. Now I am looking for a new slipper. My entire family is.

I bought my first pair of these two years ago and loved them. I purchased another pair very recently and I am very displeased with the quality of these shoes. My question to LL Bean is: when did lambs develop fur instead of wool? It says on the website that these are 100% lambs wool from Australia but then as you read it says fur. Evidently something has been compromised and the lambswool has been compromised with some sort of synthetic fiber to placate the animal activists. This is very disheartening and very discouraging as these shoes were my favorites. I have been a good LL Bean customer and because of this , my faith and trust in the quality of product and the very condescending and uncaring attitude of the managerial level of customer service makes me hesitant to shop with L.L. Bean any longer.
