I bought a pair 2 years ago and there was a ridge of material in the middle of the inside shoe, that hurt my foot.I called, the red said she checked the reviews, and said we have positive reviews on that slipper! She said return item, she would send me a shipping label!I have no computer! I never received the shipping label! I gave those slippers to the Goodwill! Just ordered another pair. That I had to pay for! Never was contacted or sent a shipping label on the other bad pair! Out that money! LL Bean is not as good as it used to be!

I so wanted to like these slippers but I just couldn't get past how low the back was. It felt like the slipper was always about to fall off. This style seems to have an identity problem in deciding whether it wants to be a slipper or a scuff. I want shearling coziness to cover my heel as well so ended up returning it.

My review is not based on quality. I have no issue with the L.L. Bean slipper except that It fits more like a slide and my foot/heel doesn't feel comfortably supported. I will be returning and going back to my original (4 years old) LLBean wicked good moccasin which are super comfy and have worn like iron!

These slippers are still excellent quality, however the sizing has changed. I have always worn a size 10 and the 10s are now too big and long for me. I had to return them and decided to stick with my old ones for now.

I had a previous pair of these and they were so comfortable , This time I ordered same size only blue and they are so snug and I have worn them several weeks now and they are still very tight . Did they change something in the making or materials ?

They feel good and look feminine. However, the stain easily and have no way I know of to clean them.

The fit is good, but the sole is hard as a rock. Also, the heel slips off to the side if one is not careful.

Thought I would splurge on slippers for myself and wouldn't have minded a $95 splurge if they had more cushioning in the entire footbed. They boast that the footbed molds to your foot for a custom fit. I do feel that is true although I found these slippers to lack enough cushioning to warrant the cost. Also because half sizes are not an option ( normally wear a 7 1/2) they fit a half size too large. On the positive side they are well made and are warm

Good looking and solid construction. On my feet, the slipper slides off my feet too easily so I returned it.

No heel coverage. Kind of chilly. Had to replace with boot version which is nice and toasty.

I've had a pair of these slippers for several years and was looking to purchase a new pair. Unfortunately, the newer ones are narrower (I measured them) and because of a painful foot issue I knew they wouldn't work for me. I'm sad that they have changed. I loved them for years.

Slippers are wonderfully warm and fuzzy and it's nice to have a solid sole. However, they're too big. I wear a size 5.5, and I followed the site's advice to order up since I needed a half size. Unfortunately size 6 is the smallest size and the slippers move around on my feetparticularly unsafe on stairs.

I wear a 5-51/2. I ordered a 5 but they are too big. The site says if you wear a 1/2 size order up. I suggest ordering down.

I had a pair of these in Royal Purple that I bought in 2018, size 8. They fit beautifully. I bought a new pair 11/9/2024 just to have an extra since they were so awesome. I bought the same size - 8 - but they just do not fit right. The quality is still excellent, and the stitching was impeccable but they are not sized correctly. The top part for my toes & foot are fine, the arch support area everything is fine until you get to the heel. They do not stay on properly. These new ones are also slightly longer than my previous 2018 pair - by a few centimeters - when you match them up sole-to-sole. The back slips off my heel every time I take a step. Yes, they are open back/slip ons but they are NOT supposed to flip flop off your heel every time you step. It would end up rubbing off my skin. My previous pair in size 8 NEVER did that. It stays in place with every step even if you have to run/walk fast. I don't know what happened with LL Bean but there always seems to be a new issue with size or quality, etc...every time I need replacement slippers after 3-4 years. I did not bother with a size 7 because I am sure my foot would be way too long for a 7. I wear 8/8.5 in regular shoes, I would never use a 7. The only time I buy a 7 is for boots or things that are only made in MEN's sizing. Is LL Bean trying to make everything one-gender sizing? I hope they're not one of those companies. I'll have to stop buying from them if that's the case. So if you want these, just keep in mind the fit issue. Maybe other women had better luck but for me it's a no. It's a shame, too, because they were good quality & beautiful looking-the charcoal blue & pale mauve were gorgeous in person.

I've been buying these slippers for years (decades??) and live in them. But the last pair were a disappointment. I wear an 81/2-9, but always order a size 8. The latest pair are so roomy on top that I can fit my hand in the space above my foot The sole is the same so sizing is not the problem. I should have returned them but waited too long. Now I'm hesitant to buy another pair.

Shearling appeared to be thin. I like the rubber soles and the color. Poor size fit though.

The slippers are very pretty and good quality. The foot bed is soft and squishy. I am a very typical size 8 or 8.5 and had to downsize to size 7 for these slippers and they still feel very roomy. They run very big.

The slippers that i ordered were too big. I sent them back at my own expense to exchange for a smaller size. They have been backordered for about 4-5 weeks.

Although these slippers are very soft and warm I notice I have lost my balance in them twice in the two weeks I have been wearing them, both times when bending over to reach something. As my balance has not been a problem before I think it must have something to do with the soles not gripping the floor. They are pretty, warm, and very soft but beware!

The house slippers have nice thick soles which give them more cushion, however the lining inside bunches up in places and they aren't as comfortable as they should be. The color is very nice.

The color and style are great. They run very large. At first I thought it was the wrong size, but it was as ordered, but are too big. Comfortable if I wear a thick pair of socks.

Who came up with the DUMB idea to only make slippers in full sizes? I west a 7.5 but cannot get my size. So my choice is to buy a 7 that is to short or an 8 that my foot comes out of with every step, forcing me to shuffle around the house. Other than that I love my slippers.

I bought as substitute for another bean slipper but this one is just as wide. However, with this one, I have accidentally fallen three times. I believe the heels should narrower. I am ambivalent about my recommendation.
