I had to return these slippers because the stitching at the top of slipper cut into top of my foot

I couldn't wait to receive these slippers I ordered. When they arrived I immediately took out the stuffing and put them on. It was hard to get my Size 9 foot through the small opening by the ankle. Once I got past the opening the elastic from the ankle was squeezing both ankles rather uncomfortably. I knew I wouldn't be able to wear these after spending two minutes in them. I had to take them off and repackage them up for a return. If you love these and want to avoid the ankle squeeze, get the slide-on type without the enclosed heel. By the way - I have "skinny" ankles. ;)

I found the opening of the slippers to be too tight. I had to tug on them on. Once on they fit fine. They also are more suited to wearing outside. The sole is quite firm. I was looking for bedroom slippers that would slip on and off easily. I bought a size larger than I normally wear so there would be no issue with the width. But sadly, I had to return them.

Let's start with the positives...these slippers are very comfortable and keep your feet warm, and they are well-constructed, but they are not that attractive - bulky looking. The fabric also gets nappy after a short time of wear. They also don't breath; my feet get sweaty after moving around a lot and the slippers stay damp and then they get stinky. I'm going back to shearling which keep my feet dry and warm.

The slippers aren't as comfortable, and don't fit as well as the Dearfoams I have. Will wear them, but would not buy them again.

The outer sole and upper part of the slipper were satisfactory. The real problem was the inner sole--one wants a soft and cushiony surface under foot and this slipper has a strange useless cheaply made inner sole. It's ok at the heel but then is shaved to almost nothing towards the ball of the foot and toe area creating an unpleasant uncomfortable walking pad. (I assume someone decided to save money and reduce the material in the insole) Disappointing since this would have been a great slipper otherwise. Perhaps one could purchase a nice gel insole and replace the useless one; I decided not to bother.

The women's cozy slipper booties were warm and cozy, and they were supportive. But for me, the arch was in the wrong place and that made them uncomfortable. Also, I ordered Dark Plum and when it arrived I couldn't tell if it was Dark Plum or Coffee Bean. Whichever it actually was, it was ugly.

These slippers are fine but not worth the money in the end. They're very warm which is exactly what I wanted but they're not particularly comfy. The bottoms feel stiff and don't have that soft/mold to your foot quality, but they're also completely flat so don't offer arch support. That was the most disappointing thing about them. The kicker is that I've had them for three or four weeks and they already smell terrible and make my feet smell unless I wear socks too. If I'd paid $30 for them I'd shrug but almost$70 makes me wish for more.

These are the slippers of my dreams, unfortunately, the insole is not removable. The instructions say to spot clean. After wearing them only a couple of times, they got really stinky. I don't tend to sweat or have sweaty feet period but these slippers got smelly very fast, and the more I tried to wash them, the worse it got! I would definitely get another pair if there was a good way to clean them.

I normally wear an 8.5 so I ordered a 9. It was too large in the heel. I also felt unstable in these shoes. The sole, which is about 1/2" high, is narrower than the base of the shoe, making me feel like I was wobbling.

I love the shoe but need to be able to go up a half size. The slippers keep my feet nice and warm!

I purchase these for my Mom who is 87 years old, thinking that they would be great with the treading and not slippery on the tile floors. But the sole is so thick that I would be afraid she would be tripping. They are too clumsy, even for myself. It's really too bad, because they look so warm and comfortableI

I loved the looks of these slippers, but they were too bulky and if I remember, the elastic band on the inside top seemed uncomfortable and had to return them.

I love the slippers, love the plum color but they are too small. I ordered a half size up to a 9 but my toes touched and that was without socks. It's too bad these slippers don't come in half sizes.

The slippers were hard to put on and after wearing them for a few hours hurt my toes. I sent them back. Perhaps I should have tried an 8 versus a 7. Sending things back is easy but I didn't want to add one more job to the "things to do" list. L.L. Bean is supposed to have a store near me in the near future. Looking forward to the store being in the Buffalo, N.Y. area.

These are nice slippers overall--cute, well-made, and practical. The ankle opening is small, though, and fit me too snuggly. For anyone whose ankles swell this could be a problem. I usually wear 7.5, sometimes 8. I ordered a size 8. Other than the ankle, they fit as I'd expect with socks. LLBean: could you please make a similar style, but one that's adjustable?

These were not comfortable. Odd shaped inside padding. I want slippers to be comfortable. I liked the look.

I like the look of these slippers but unfortunately the gathering on top of the slipper pushed down on my forefoot.

This is a well-made slipper; it just doesn't currently work for me. I have a bad hip so I can't just reach down and pull it up; I had to use a shoehorn and it was still difficult. The very tight fit will probably make the slippers last longer, but I won't buy them again.
