Great fit, great looking, very comfortable

Love the boots. Warm and comfortable. Went to order second pair, different color and shoe is no longer available in the zip up style

I ordered this boot in my normal size 9. This boot is very comfortable and roomy enough (without being too big) to allow for a thicker sock. I feel that this will be a forever-boot as its durable material and quality construction indicate it should last a very long time. And, I like the zipper versus laces for easier on and off. The waterproof and warmth features are also a plus.

I ordered a half size bigger, because I like to wear thicker wool socks in the winter, and they are perfect. Perfect fit, not tool bulky, and the fleece lined top is wonderful. They are waterproof and easy to wash off and warm! Happy with my purchase.

I have worn storm chaser boots from LLBean for years and was so happy to see these new boots. They are taller and claim to breathable which will also be a real plus. We are currently experiencing a snow storm so they will be put to the test.

Always hesitate purchasing boots on line, but honestly have never had an issue with Bean products. These boots are great! A little wide but a thick sock for winter makes the fit perfect. Have used these for walking the pooch in rainy weather so far. Looking forward to some snow. Great buy! Thanks Bean!

I thought about this purchase long and hard...ordering shoes online is tricky! But, I can truly say that these boots are perfect in every way. I am a 40 in European sizes, so went with a size 9. With a medium weight wool sock, my feet have room to spread out a bit and be comfortable but not sloppy. They are very cute (I have the brown) with skirts or pants. Easy on, easy off. Incredibly warm and waterproof...I walk through puddles whenever possible now. ( : I can't say enough about the goodness of these boots. I'm getting ready to order my daughter a pair!

Attractive style, very lightweight, comfy, and roomy enough for those thick socks or inserts. Well formed. Lovely design around cuff, soft, non restricting. Just the right boot for easily zipping on and buzzing about. There are many boots out there designed like this with rubber sole and leather upper, but these are excellent and surpass all others like it that i have had. Made right, just perfect. Cheers to the person who designed these wonderful boots...thank you. Love at first sight. My feet are old, riddled with arthritis and have also had surgery, now LLBean is the only footwear that i can wear and trust to fit my size 11 hurting feet and find comfort. Grateful.

These boots are comfortable, and will keep my feet warm and dry this winter. They have a wide base for safety and good tread. They are easy to get on and off. I ordered the same size as my athletic shoes, and there will be enough room for my thickest socks. They arrived in two days with free standard shipping.

I like them. They've got the Bean chic without being too clunky. I wish they came in different colors. Years ago I got blue Bean boots and completely wore them out. Consider going up a half a size if you buy them.

I ordered these shoes so I could have an insulated boot to keep my feet warm for a winter vacation in Vermont. I carefully read all of the reviews and ordered true to size, but these were still too big and wide for my narrow foot. Sadly these boots were returned. Even though they didn't work for me, I can tell they are a warm, well constructed boot.

Bought these for easy on and off going out in the snow. At first the left boot was difficult to zip & unzip, upon further inspection I found there was some type of glue on the zipper itself. Once I cleaned it off they work as I intended when I purchased them. Work well with regular or heavy socks.

Very comfortable and warm. Hard to get them on with thicker socks.

I bought my husband a pair of Storm Chaser boots for his birhday and he loves them, so I decided to get a pair for myself. I was a little concerned after reading some reviews about the boots being a bit stiff and heavy, which they are, but I still found them to be fine. I wore them around the house for a day with no problem so I put them to the test this morning with a snowy, cold walk in the woods. My feet were dry, warm and the stiffness of the boot seemed to loosen up. I'm giving 4 stars because it is a little bit of an effort to get them off, but I would still recommend these boots.

I gave it four stars because it is a bit loose in the heel. But they are comfortable and my feet stay dry.

These are very sturdy, waterproof boots. They are warm but could use some more padding ins the insoles. I find them very appropriate for the hiking I do around the woods and wet paths in the winter.

Boots are nice. One zipper is a bit challenging to move up and down, and the color was not as expected. But fits well. Looking forward to using these this winter.

These boots fit the easy to slip on bill that I was looking for in order to walk the dog in snowy weather. Although the left foot boot had a weird bulge to it. With heavier socks it should be fine and it didn't seem worth the trouble to exchange them. We haven't had the snowy weather yet though here in Michigan. I hope they will hold up for the intended purpose although they were a bit more than I wanted to pay. I have an awesome pair of hiking boots that I usually wear in the winter, they just are a pain to lace up and take off for a 15 minute walk. Probably would have been a 5 star if not for the one misshapen boot.

These are warm and comfortable. I like how they zip on and off. The only reason for the 4 out of 5 is that the color is almost green, not gray as pictured, and the soles are not as grippy as they could be.

Not as warm as I had suspected they would be. Kinda bummed.

I needed a 1/2 size larger in order to fit my orthotics in, but they will work well. The only issue I have w/ them is the zipper. The leather inside keeper is a bit hard to deal with when zipping them up.

Comfortable and roomy. I purchased these in August, so I cant tell how warm they are. What I can tell you is that they run big. I wear an eight (8)and these are big enough to slide my foot around. This may work to my advantage since I can wear a thicker sock when I shovel.

I bought these to replace my "Bean boots," as I've been disappointed with wear on the bottoms the last 2 times and didn't want to spend the money for the same boots again (although forever my favorites). These boots are warm (I like the sherpa lining), fit well and functional. Just a little clunkier than the duck boots - in the toe area, that is. I'll miss my traditionals, but these are a pretty good substitute for wearing all winter back and forth to the ski area, walking in the snow in New England, etc.
