I usually wear Dearfoam slippers, but have to replace them every Christmas
because the heel area wears out. This is my first time trying LL Bean slippers. I love the grey color and "fabric" as well as the low heel back. The best thing is the support. Sometimes I think I'm wearing very comfortable shoes and start to take them off before I go on our carpet. Then I realize I'm in slippers! I love them! They are pricey and should probably cost closer to $30-40.

I didn't give these a poor rating because they are probably fine if they fit. I wear a size 8 in every type of shoe I buy, no matter what type. When I tried these on, I thought for sure, I had accidentally ordered a Men's because when I put my foot on the bottom of the outside sole, it definitely looked like it was 2 sizes too long. But, sure enough, they were clearly marked inside as a woman's 8M.

My only complaint with the shoes concerns the back. The back of the shoe is too short to stand up, so after a few times wearing it, it has become a scuff, which I actually prefer. Why not make it a scuff to begin with? otherwise it is good. Great soles.

I thought these were the best slippers I've had in years, easy to slip into and walk in without straining my feet to keep them on (because of the slight heel section). Wore them for over a month. They are very warm, in fact they make my feet hot - and ultimately they began to get smelly. This is not a nice thing... I stopped wearing them for a few days; switched to another pair and deoderized them. Maybe they need to be made of something more breathable?

These slippers are very cute. I wear a 6 1/2 so ordered up to a 7 as recommended. I will not be able to wear these without a good weight sock because they are very wide on me. I am keeping them but I won't use them as a bedroom slipper because they don't stay on my feet if barefooted.

Have looked at these slippers several times in the past & finally bought them. Not sure yet if I like them due to the back piece of the slipper. Maybe if they were more like a scuff slipper & I didn't feel that piece. However they are very soft to walk in. Time will tell.

. Loved the slippers, but little to no support for proper alignment. After a month of wearing, both knees starting hurting.Took me awhile to figure out it was the slippers. I do have insole to put in sneakers. As soon as I stopped wearing them pain subsided.

I wear size 8 medium and ordered an 8. What I received should have been labeled 8 wide. The slippers gapped all around at the opening and didn't comfortable hold my feet. I returned them the next day.

I bought these recently and have worn them every morning trying to break them in. They are not as comfortable as I thought they would be. The top ridge digs into my foot and the back ridge is lower than it looked in picture which consequently digs into my heel. On the plus side the toe box is wide enough to fit well....

These slippers looked very good but the fit was not right. The right one seemed looser than the left. They would not stay on my feet. ( My feet are very slim). They may be fine for someone with a different shaped foot.

I thought I'd love these slippers when I first saw them but returned them. The color red is great, the material was soft and comfy, but it needed more detail like cable knit or faux fur trim, and every time you stepped down it squished. I was thinking it would be a firm bottom/sole/step and might not be as sturdy in the long run so returned them. If you can revise them a bit I might try again.

comfy but makes my feet sweat. Has a different sole than I'm used to with LL Bean slippers. Will switch back to my previous style.

Pros: These slippers have a lot of cushion, are warm, and look nice without decoration. Would be great for wide, high volume feet.
Cons: I had to return the first pair because they were too big. I wear a 9 1/2 and went up a size to a 10 as instructed in the description but I could tell that was a mistake as soon as I saw them. I had an inch or more room in the toe, and considering their material, I'm sure they will stretch a bit with wear. Those got returned and replaced with the size 9. Even with thick socks on I have more than enough room. Without socks, they are hard to keep on my feet. The left slipper especially is gaping around my foot.
I'll keep these and I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of them but I am a bit disappointed.

They have changed! They are not as firm in the gootbed oart of shoe & the sole has also changed. I have neuropathy & these were the only slippers I felt safe walking in, not anymore. Soles almost stick to floor & when I turn I walk right out of them. Soles aren't as thick as they ussd to be. Walkung over gravel was easy.

I am an 8 1/2 and ordered a size 8. They fit well the only problem is that they flop up and down in the heal area when walking. This made me uncomfortable because I do not want to fall when walking up and down steps. In my opinion, they need a strap that could be used if needed and put down the back heel when not.

The shoe is soft and comfortable. However, the fit was the reason I returned it.

These have great support inside the shoe, but the lip on the back is a bit irritating because my heel gets caught on the back and I have to adjust with my hand.

I bought these before Christmas and the scuffs seem to be well-made. They're very comfortable and size 7 fit my feet well with regular or thicker socks, as I don't go barefooted at all during these Ohio cold winter months. They're easy on/off scuffs, though my heels do slip out & back in while walking. I believe that to be normal with wearing any slipper scuffs, but may/could be a safety issue for anyone with mobility/walking issues, so I'm including this in my review simply for safety/quality of life information for readers of reviews, if that's allowed by LLB guidelines.

I wear between a 7 1/2-8.
These are pretty snug. I needed them right away so I squeezed in. So I can't return them. Usually 8 leaves a comfortable amount of room. Not these. They are very pretty though.

I have a high instep and the tops of these dug into the tops of my feet really uncomfortably. I didn't feel like having to break in slippers so I returned. Tbh, they didn't seem that crazy different than my usual Dearfoams, which are cheaper and fit me better.

They look great. But for slippers, they are strangely uncomfortable. They don't slide on easily. They are heavy. You have to physically bend down to pull them over the heels. They are stiff and rub against the toes. The soles are hard like outdoor shoes. Huh?

This will be my fourth pair of these slipper/shoes. They are my go to footwear as I am a stay at home grandmother and they work well for me. I do have a problem with one of my feet and adding elastic to the back of both slippers makes it very easy to enjoy these gems!

Just got these a few months ago and the liner is already slipping. I also think the fit is a little tighter than usual. Not as pleased as last year :/
