I gave the slipper time to fit my foot as was suggested. It is still very tight at the toes and I have to slip them off my heels to give relief to my toes. I love the warmth, but the tightness at the toes is uncomfortable and I would recommend anyone to get a half size larger.

Nice quality sliippers, but too narrow and small. Unfortunately I had to send them back.

I have bought wicked good slippers for myself and others for many years in the past. Prior to this pair, I felt like my feet were walking on a cloud in heaven inside these slippers. They truely were 'wicked good' slippers. These do not feel the same. They are slightly short and tight (I wear 6 1/2 and ordered 7 - the box said 7). The feel of the lambs wool is not as soft or plush. They are OK but not what I expected. The lambs wool in my old wicked good slippers (probably 15 years old now) still feels softer, plusher and more comfortable - even though they now are quite worn and some of the wool has worn away. I hope you go back to your old recipe for these slippers, whatever it was. I don't plan to buy them again, unless I can check them out at an L.L.Bean store before deciding on another purchase. Hopefully, you will go back to the old way of making these slippers.

I wanted to like these slippers but the heel is not tight enough. My heel slips and I feel that after wearing over time they will be too big. I prefer the bootie style Wicked Good slipper.

Can't say I wasn't warned by the reviews, but yes my size turned out sloppy large, not true to size. There is something uncomfortable about the furry insides as well. I find myself continuing to wear my worn-out furry-lined ballet slippers from a few years ago, that I used to buy over and over. So much better made but they can't last forever. I do like the blue color. I don't return things -- never have.

After wearing my slippers for about 4 months I'm sad to say I have to return them as they have stretched to the point where I can't wear them without thick socks keeping them on.

I have worn LLBean slippers for years. This is a different style than I have worn in the past and the heel is very wide. It slipped up and down when I walked. I think that when the lining pushed down with wear, the problem would have been worse. I had to re turn them.

I was slightly disappointed, they seems large and clunky, almost like I bought mens slippers by mistake. They feel like I am tripping over my own feet! Not as comfortable as other bean slippers I have bought. I wanted to get away from the shoelace ties of the other slippers... but not happy with the look. All in all, I got what I ordered, but a little disappointed with the look especially, and that they are not as "cushiony" as the others. Wish I would have ordered the traditional wicked goods.

I have been buying wicked good slippers for several years. I love the feel and the comfort of the slippers. However, the quality is not the same. I wear my slippers all the time indoors. The shearling wears out after about six months. I purchased a pair in January and by July the shearling is worn to the soles and now the stitching has come out of the left toe. I will buy them again as I love the slipper, but I don't expect it to last more than six to eight months.

After wearing these for about a week, I noticed something wonky going on with the shearling lining in the right heel. It was pulling away from the leather and making kind of a hole. I'm sending them back and trying a different style.

We purchased 4 pairs of slippers for Christmas presents.
Two pairs were women's wicked good. These were replacing worn out slippers of the same kind.
However my daughter only got to have her new pair for four days.
A raccoon stole her right slipper from the deck.
We were very disappointed that when we called in we were told we couldn't buy a new right slipper only.
Raccoons love LLBean too. Just wish they wouldn't take my daughter's Christmas present.

Love the shoe but it is way too wide. Would love it if you would make shoes in a narrower width. I'm keeping the shoe because I like it so much but need inserts to make it fit better

I purchased a pair for myself and after awhile the outside seam opened up so it was replaced and now the second pair did the same thing. I am disappointed although I did purchase a pair for my daughter for Christmas in hopes that won't happen to hers...... ;(......

These were nice quality and appeared to be made well, however since they are not available in 1/2 sizes, they ended up not working out for me. I bought a 7 and although the info cards said they should be snug, they felt like they were cutting off circulation. I took them into a store to exchange, however, the 8 was too large and slipped on my foot. I ended up exchanging them for a 7 in the Wicked Good Moccasins which fit slightly longer and wider in the toe - perfect! I recommend trying on in store if possible.

This is my second pair of shearling slippers from Bean and this pair just isn't as plush as the ones I purchased two years ago. They don't feel snug around the toes like they should -- I think it's from lack of enough shearling and not enough padding in the footbed. They are comfortable, but not as comfortable as my previous pair. Might try a different source the next time I'm needing a new pair.

I have worn LLBean slippers for so many years and this is the first pair that disappointed. The shearling lining is flat. Looked forward to slipping it on for the first time...usually so thick and warm but not the case. Made cheaper than before. Will try different brand next time.

The slippers are very soft and warm. I'm a half size and ordered down because of the mixed reviews about size, in addition to my previous experience with slippers of this type. The half size down was a good move, but the slippers don't have enough support for genuine comfort. They do have some cushioning in the footbed (besides the shearling itself), but not enough in the heel, and no heel stability. They're good enough for relaxing on the couch but if you're going to walk around a lot, better look elsewhere.

I bought these to replace another pair of women's scuffs in the exact same size, but these are 1/2" shorter in length. I checked my order to make sure I had ordered the same size. I even held them sole to sole to be sure. My husband was amazed at the difference. Since I buy the largest size, now I have to return these and get a men's slipper.
Oh, and like many other reviewers have stated, there has got to be a better place for the tag! It's so uncomfortable even with socks on!

I really expected to love these slippers but I have worn them around my house a couple of times and find them to be difficult to walk in because they are a bit too big although they had been described as running small (not true) I am typically a 7.5-8 so I ordered the 8 but they are sloppy unless I wear thick socks with them which makes them much too hot and not simple enough to slip on an off easily as I think a "slipper" should be. I am going to try the open back version and see if that is better. I do like the construction and soles or indoor and occasional outdoor use to let the puppies in and out.

I treated myself to a pair of the venetian slippers in November after wearing a pair of camp Mocs for 3 years. While they are comfortable, the sheepskin lining isn't as soft or thick as my old pair and, after only 3 months, the lining on the bottom started wearing out. I'm not sure if it's the style or a change in the quality but I'm a bit disappointed. I splurged and bought pairs for my entire family for Christmas and now I'm second guessing that decision.

I purchased the slip on slippers instead of my usual purchase of the wicked good slippers with rawhide ties, because I always have trouble keeping the ties tight. I do not like the slip on SAS well...they don't feel as warm, and they seem to be shedding a lot of the lining material. I may return them and replace with the tied version.

I have had previous LLBean shearling slippers that I have worn until they wore out a decade later. The shearling on this pair is not as cushy or thick. It is thinner and not as lofty as previous pairs, & very thin in the heel area. I would Not recommend.

I had to return both size 7 and 8. Neither fit me well, one too short and one too long. I wasn't able to fit nicely into the clog slipper either. I do like the fact that the soles of both these slipper styles were non-skid and could be used outside to go to the driveway or porch, though I didn't wear the slippers because of the fit issue.
