I've previously bought slippers from L.L. Bean including the Women's Wicked Good Slippers, Venitian and have been totally satisfied. The newest pair isn't quite as comfortable, the shearling on the sole bunches up in the toe area and I have to manipulate it smooth it out. Not a big problem, obviously, but I've always been so happy with my purchases from L.L. Bean I've been spoiled. It's still a very good slipper and this particular slipper is probably just a one-off.

I had a pair of wicked good slippers years ago. I loved them but eventually they got all stretched out and would fall of my feet. I recently purchased the Venetians. Not sure if it's just because they are new or are a different style than my last ones but they stay perfectly on. I am always cold and wear them with wool socks during the day. I go out to the garbage, mailbox, & backyard in them. I couldn't be happier finally a slipper that can actually keep my feet warm and not sweaty. Don't hesitate SPLURGE!

This is my 4th or 5th pair. I usually buy the one with fur around the top but wanted a change. These are just as comfortable but...two things: The inside fur is pretty sparse around the back on both feet and that's, I think, were you need the cushioning the most. Secondly, there is a place on the top stitching where the white underside of the material shows. I'm hoping that it won't pull apart. The stitching is fine but the material wasn't pulled up all the way around before they stitched it.
As many have said, the LL Bean quality seems to have suffered in the past few years.
But give these a try. They are very comfortable. I'm an 8 1/2 but the 8 fits me perfectly after a day or two.

I am ordering this slipper again but really wish LL Bean offered half sizes. I normally wear a 10 but the 10 fell off me. I ordered the 9 again, but eventually a toe pokes out the front breaking where the suede is attached to the sole. A 9.5 would be perfect. Please consider in the future. Thank you!

I really like these house shoes but I wish I could have purchased the women's leather (not suede) ones that LL Bean use to carry. Please bring them back.

I have owned a pair of the regular camp Wicked Good slippers for many years and they are the best and most comfortable slippers I have owned. They are the first thing I put on when I come home.
Your feet will thank you. However, my present pair were getting a bit tired and needed replacing so I purchased the very pretty blue ones without the ties. The ties on my present ones were always coming untied which was a tripping hazard and annoying. However, this new style was too loose in the heel and too narrow in the toes so I am reordering my original style. I loved the deep red color and wish they still had them (they hide dirt more, especially with the dark fur).

I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 in llbean shoes. I ordered a 9 and it was comfortable but it felt like it would get loose over time so I returned them and ordered an 8. The 8 is so tight it is uncomfortable. I hope it gets better with wear and doesn't compress the lining too much. Also the tag under the arch is annoying.

Pros: obvious quality and comfort, warm, thick sole
Cons: tag sewn in the middle of the inside of both slippers. Very annoying on bare feet.
Slippers are made in Asia. Not made in the USA. Wish LLBean supported US jobs.

Wanted to love these. length ok but the heel was so loose even right out of the box, knew I'd be stepping out of these even before they were broken in. Guess I'll have to return.

These are very warm and comfortable. Much more than I usually pay for slippers but so luxurious!

Per my wife: Hard to tell right from left and the tongue is too long. Maybe they just need to be broken in. Only had for one week.

I wear a 9 W or between a 9 and 91/2. I had tried on numerous slippers from the more popular brands at several store and found the 8-9 size too small and the 9-10 size too large. Based on other reviews I decided to try these and find they fit quite well. They are close fitting at the toe end initailly during break in (as stated on the card) but conform nicely after a while. I'm very glad to have found these.

I have been buying LL Bean slippers ever since I received them as a gift years ago. I used to get the ones with the tie but they wouldn't stay tied so I was so happy when I discovered the ones with no tie. I love the feel of them, the shearling is heaven and the soles let me chase my dogs outside when I don't have time to change into shoes. My only problem is that the shearling in the heals has worn out, and that happened after about 6-7 months. Everything else on the slipper is still perfect so I hate to buy new ones to replace them since I have only had them 9 months. But, I do love the slipper so I will probably treat myself at Christmas, but I sure wish that wasn't a problem anymore...

A little snug to start but have gradually molded to my feet. My previous slippers were deerskin with no lining and I wore them at home with warm socks. These new slippers are a little snug with socks and often too warm. Sometimes they are too warm even without socks. Seem well made and like they will last a long time.

These were not the slippers I had wanted to buy, I wanted the Wicked Good Scuffs. I haven't seen them on the website all year so I finally bought these. While these are the same great quality for why I love the Scuffs, I still wish the Scuffs were available. These slippers have the same thick fleece lining and I can wear them outside, which I love. They give my feet great support and I wear them whenever I am at home, and sometimes when I run to the store! What I miss about the Scuff is the low heel. I love just being able to slip easily into and out of the Scuffs, and these are more of a have to fit my foot into slipper. I have had foot surgeries and cannot be barefoot, so I need a good, quality slipper for both warmth and support. These slippers definitely fit the bill and I would definitely recommend them. However, if the Scuffs made a reappearance on the the website, I'd buy those again over these. But even as a second choice, these slippers are far better than any slipper I have ever worn.

Overall I like these slippers, especially the sole. When I first got them it seemed like the upper of the right foot slipper was for a left foot but it eventually formed to my foot. The only real dislike I have is that the fleece lining bunches up between my toes and the ball of my foot. Otherwise they are warm and comfortable. This is the first time I have bought these for myself but I have bought the men's version for my husband for the past 3 Xmas's and he loves them. They are always on his holiday wish list.

I liked these slippers, although I thought that size 9 was a little long for me. (I usually wear an 8 1/2 shoe size). But, I added a shoe insert inside the slipper and that did the trick! They're very comfortable now.

I'm an 8 1/2. The blurb says buy a size up. I did. My foot swam in it. I returned it and bought an 8. I love this slipper! Comfy, warm, practical.

This is the second pair of these I've bought. No laces to have to retie, just slip them on and go. Hard soles allow me to wear them in the garage or even outdoors when I want to. My only wish is that they came in half sizes. I'm typically an 8 1/2, but size 8 fit better than size 9, so I got size 8. They stretch and fit fine.

Seem well constructed. The inside is very warm. I ordered my normal size. They just fit. I don't have an extremely wide foot and they're a bit snug as far as width. I couldn't get away with wearing thick socks with these slippers but stockings and thin socks are alright. I like them but wish I had the option of wide when I ordered. That's why I chose to rate them at a 4 instead of 5 stars.

These sleepers are very soft and warm. I wear size 7.5 so I bought size 8 (online). They fit a little large but i don't mind it since I only wear them inside, also I would rather wear something loose than tight and thought that would happen with size 7. Slippers don't have much of a "structure" and are wide on my feet but I figure it is because of the larger size, but they keep my feet warm and feel very comfortable!
