I am in love with this new style! I love the moccasin look, and appreciate that there are no ties. Following previous reviewers' advice, I sized down. I am a 9, but purchased an 8. It works for me! The slipper was a little tight when I first put them on, but after a week of wearing them, they are a perfect fit with no slipping off my heel. I can see that a 9 would have been too loose. The shearling is very soft and comfortable, and my feet stay nice and warm. I really appreciate having a houseshoe that has the moccasin look, covers my entire foot, and has no ties! Thanks, L.L.Bean!

At Last! These slippers are well made and feel good on my feet with and without socks. And I don't have to worry about the leather lace tie coming undone and stepping on it. Included in the box with the slippers is a Dear Customer card explaining that it will take a short period of time for your foot and the slipper to fit to one another. I am so glad that this was included... and it did take a few days of wearing for my feet and the slippers to become good friends.
I am old, wear a nine, have a bunion on one foot and the beginning of a bunion on the other foot. My feet are somewhat flat. When I am wearing my new slippers I can forget these problems!

I've been wearing LLBean's Wicked Good Slippers happily for years, but now find, as I'm getting older, that it would be wise (with wooden floors, stairs) to wear a slipper with some tread. So I bit the bullet and purchased the Wicked Good Venetian Slippers. I think they are great and highly recommend them.
Note: I bought one size smaller and like how it better grips my heel.

I opted for these instead of the mocs to avoid dealing with the shoe strings coming untied. I love them! They do run a bit big. I am a size 10, ordered a size 10 M and I would say they are half a size too big. But I bought these for wearing around the house with socks, so don't mind. The lining is super comfortable. These could def be worn outside as the bottoms are quite sturdy. Can't wait to put my feet up in these all winter.

This being my 5th pair I still have no complaints other then wearing them out. It takes about a year as I wear them approximately 14 hours a day. Excellent quality and superior comfort, I would definitely recommend these slippers! As always, the shipment was delivered as stated and I have had no reason to contact Customer Service.

I bought these Venetian slippers because, much as I like moccasins, the strings just don't stay tied for me. I initially ordered size 10, because I wear a 10 in an athletic shoe and a 9 in a dress shoe and the instructions said for half sizes to to size up. 10 was too big, so I returned for a 9 which is right. The slippers have that snug but not not tight new sheepskin slipper feel to them, just the way they should.

Typical LL Bean delivering an awesome product! Switched over from the wicked good moccasin slippers because the leather ties never stayed. I am so happy I switched - love these!

I just got these yesterday and I love them. I run between sizes at an 8 1/2 and I sized down an 8 since they don't come in half sizes. They seem to fit fine with plenty of room. I'm used to slippers being really snug at first but these are not. I just hope they don't stretch out to the point where they feel to big. Keeping my fingers crossed that they stay just like this. I highly recommend these slippers.

I have owned these slippers since Christmas 2016 and I love them. I put them on as soon asI get home. They are soft and cozy but not even too warm on a hot day. I like that I can pop outside and not have to change, since it has the rubber sole. I do have to replace the insole because it started to thin from wear, but the outsides still look new. I think these will last me for years to come.

I own three pairs of wicked good slippers. Can't say they really wear out, but the shearling does run thin eventually. And yet, the darn leather ties NEVER stayed completely tied! So annoying. Seeing this slippers gave me hope. I think they are expensive but then, so were the others. One word of caution: these slippers don't run small as the 'imported' tied ones. I ordered a size up when I first bought them and had to exchange for my regular size. They are wonderful!

Slippers had to return as too small & half or larger size not available. Disappointing as always wanted to try these. Will try again next winter season.

I bought these recently and haven't worn them yet. They feel warm and comfy though a little snug in the length. I usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9 but the 9 was too big. The look is more inside shoe than slipper which I wanted.

I should have bought a size larger but thought they would stretch out a tad. They've not stretched any, which is good if they are sized right. They would also be more comfortable if there was thicker padding iin the soles. They are warm and slip-free on bare floors.

I originally got these in my regular shoe size (9).
They were way too wide on me and I reluctantly returned.
After trying other brands I realized I needed to go down a size in slippers such as these as I have a narrow foot.
I tried an 8. They were snug at first but after wearing a short time the fur inside flattened a little and the soft leather molds to your feet. They are perfect now and I am so glad I tried them again and kept them.. I only gave 4 stars because I would suggest ordering down instead of up depending on foot shape.

On the purchase page it says "half sizes order up," so I ordered a 10, but in the package is a card saying "Shearling-lined footwear should provide a snug fit in order to offer both comfort and warmth. Initially, your toes and forefoot should feel slightly confined. The shearling lining will pack down around the shape of your toes and foot to provide a custom fit within a short period of time." This information should be included on the product page. I didn't find the card until after I had been wearing them for a few days around and outside the house, so it is too late to exchange them for 9s. Also, if these are so popular, why can't they make them in half sizes? The 10s fit okay on my right foot but are way too loose on the left and I am getting a blister on my left heel. Otherwise, they are warm, comfortable, and very sturdy. It's nice to be able to wear slippers without socks.

I typically purchase the tied moccasins and tried these this year. They are soft and warm and love the texture. I'm hoping they don't stretch or squish too much, making the shoes too large for my feet. That happened with the tied ones, so fingers crossed that doesn't happen with these!

These are attractive (I have the blue color, size 8 Womens) soft, and the treads are nice and grippy. That said, they do run wide, and as others have noted, attract dirt and stains easily. I have owned multiple pairs of the Ugg Dakota over the past decade, and my side-by-side comparison is that the Ugg size 8 Dakota runs smaller overall than the LL Bean Wicked Good Venetian. I especially noted a difference in the width through the heel and mid-foot. In fact, the heel is so wide in the LL Bean slipper that my heel slips out unless I wear socks (something I would prefer not to do with shearling slippers). I will only be wearing them indoors, so the sizing isn't a huge deal for me, though it would be if I were planning to wear them out on errands as other reviewers have said they do. The length of the LL Bean slippers is slightly longer, but not by much. The grippy soles on the LL Bean slipper are superior to the Ugg Dakota (my Ugg soles usually turn to hard, slippery plastic over time). I sprayed my Bean slippers with Scotch Guard because of all of the reviews I read about staining issues, hoping that will do the trick. However, I did grab my slippers with recently-lotioned hands the other day and it did create a slightly darker thumb print, so maybe the Scotch Guard isn't a perfect solution? Overall, though, they are very nice slippers at this price point and the blue color is really lovely!

Good all around slipper and sized correctly. I have had at least 6 pair. This year the shearling lining is itchy.

However when I tried them on I discovered that I immediately lost balance. At first I thought it was the sole and I returned them. My size 8 of a similar LLBean shoe is perfect. The fit suggestion was an 81/2. I've ordered an 8 to see if I can wear them. Quality is excellent.

I like these slippers, but not as much as the ballet type ones you used to sell (Item ID 501859). These look more like a man's slipper, whereas the ballet type were more feminine. They are cozy, warm and comfortable. I love the color too!

These are as comfy and warm as I had hoped, but I wish the heels were stiffer so they didn't squish down when I put them on.

Quite soft so you have to be careful about putting them on not to deform the back.

These slippers are comfortable and I don't have to worry about the laces not staying laced up, like I did with my previous slippers.
