This is my second pair. My older pair is at least 3 years old, but my dog chewed holes in the toe areas so I need a full pair. That's the only reason I bought new. These slippers are the best out there. Stitching holds up, warm, comfy. I wish they came in half sizes. Order up and have the extra room, otherwise your big toe will rub a hole in them. I bought the charcoal blue ones and they are slightly darker than the catalog photos, which is perfect for me. I was hoping they would be darker.

I loved buying LL Bean from Zappos -- with LL Bean it's never a sure bet on the sizing, and now that LL Bean is charging for exchanges -- I stopped with them. These slippers are GREAT -- but I was very skeptical in purchasing them -- I'm a size 8.5 -- after reading reviews, I went with the 8 -- they are great! The toes may have felt a little tight - very little, but like one reviewer said, within a few days, it stretched and is perfect -- I'm sure the 9 would have slipped off my heel. These are a keeper - great quality -- you can wear indoors or outdoors -- comfortable, durable - LOVE them!

Warm, cozy and comfortable. I would prefer there not to be a stiff cloth tag on the inside of the slipper as it rubs against the side of each foot, but it is becoming less noticeable with wear. I generally avoid wearing my "outdoor shoes" inside the house, so a sturdy, supportive slipper is important to me. I bought the leather slippers, as another reviewer had suggested ( easier to wipe off a spill than suede).
A note on size- if you wear a half size ( I wear 9 1/2) it is recommended that you size up, which I initially did. The 10s were too big. I returned them and ordered the 9s and they fit great! Turns out the slippers I was replacing were 9s, too- I should have checked before ordering the first time.

I wear a well-known slipper from Down Under because they're made with sheepskin lining, which prevents my feet from sweating. Imagine my delight when I ordered these LL Bean slippers for much less $ and found the same lining. They are warm, comfortable, keep my feet dry and a bargainguess it costs $20 for competitors to ship their product from Australia!

True LL Bean quality -- buying from Zappos is so much easier, since LL Bean has changed their policies. I have been concerned about the quality - but no doubt, these slippers are true LL Bean. Sizing can always be difficult with them - I have purchased them for years. I can be an 8 or 8.5 depending on the shoe/boot/slipper. I purchased an 8 in these slippers. At first your toes might feel a bit tight - but it quickly conforms to your foot for such comfort. The best is they don't slip off your heel. This is why I love Zappos -- if the fitting isn't perfect, you can exchange -- LL Bean now charges you to exchange - fortunately, these are great! Thanks to reading the reviews. It's why I started writing reviews, I appreciate hearing how shoes fits when purchasing, it can prevent returns/exchanges. This is a great slipper -- and you can wear it outdoors too.

These slippers are very warm for cold Wisconsin winters. I am wearing them with woolen socks so I ordered up a size and they are fine. Really appreciate the soft fur lining. I can also wear them outside if I need to.

Great slipper for the price, high quality and happy with the purchase. I like the denim blue color, the lining is nice and thick and they are lightweight making them much easier to walk around the house in vs. some of their heavy bottom, less flexible australian brand competitors.

Third pair is this exact slippers I got for my wife, super cozy. Las ones for some reason ripped from the sole, I will try to return them. All in all they fit well and are very comfortable specially during cold New England Winter days.

These slippers are so comfortable right out of the box; fit perfectly and easy to slip into. They are soft, yet sturdy to walk in. The slippers are warm and cozy all the time. I can even wear them on summer days. Best slippers I have had in a long time. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends.
