These slippers were not for me. Fit was too wide. Workmanship was fine.

this is my 6th pair that I have purchased. and up until the 4th pair everything was great. The past 2 pair the stitching is coming undone on the left side of the slipper. Same side as the last pair, and I've noticed on other reviews here its the same side. Some machine is not finishing the shoe properly or quality control is missing this. Very disappointed. returning again hoping the new pair is like my first 4 pairs.

I have worn them around my house and find them to be difficult to walk in because they are a bit too big .I wear socks with them to prevent slipping and the shearing have matted in the short time I've worn them .
I do like the construction of the soles !
Maybe the slip on would be better !

It finally got cold enough to wear these slippers and while they are warm, after just 3 days they are stretched too wide for my feet. They offer zero support. The soles are thin and the sides have no structure. It would be ok if I was just sitting by the fire, but as someone who is busy around the house, they leave my feet hurting. These slippers are not for me.

I had high hopes for these slippers being just what I needed, but I was wrong.
PROS: Nice color, comfortable uppers, good support.
CONS: Absolutely no padding, and even with my putting sole inserts in the shoes, they still hurt my feet terribly. And, they were at least a half size too long.
I'm returning the slippers after giving them 24 hours of some use. I do wish that LLBean would improve the padding in their slippers as a whole. The rest of my order (3 other items) I am well pleased with.

I saw in the reviews that two people had reported that the stitching had come loose on their slippers. I've always had positive experiences with Beans and decided to buy them anyway, thinking that they had probably dealt with the problem. Within 2 weeks the stitching came loose on one of them making them unwearable. When I called, the agent said that they had never heard of the problem!

First pair that I sent back the left slipper was too small and hurt my toes. Second pair the right one was too small. You can tell by looking at them that one was made much lower at the toe. Inconsistent production I guess. We returned the second pair and received a refund. Everyone we dealt with was nice and tried to please but you can't do so with inferior products.

I wore these slippers for about three days until they started to feel too loose. I looked down and noticed the stitching had come undone! It is really disappointing because I had waited a month for them to come back in stock, and frankly the hassle of dealing with returning them due to Covid just seems like adding insult to injury. Very annoying and not what I expect from L.L.Bean quality.

I waited 6 weeks for these shoes and was so disappointed when one was wider than the other! My left foot is larger than my right, however the left shoe is about 1/4 inch wider. Still too large. Now debating whether to return or not. So disappointed. I expected so much more from LLBean!

I only wore these inside for 5-6 times and the stitching is coming apart on the RT shoe. I am very disappointed as I love these shoes and I love LL Bean quality. These are very disappointing to me.

I purchased these to replace my wicked good slippers that I have worn for years. I liked the style and color of these better so I thought I would give them a try. After just two weeks of use, the stitching on both is unraveling. Given the hassle of trying to return them during the Christmas rush, I am going to try to repair them myself instead of sending them back. Who knows when I would see a replacement pair. I really am disappointed and will not order again.

These are my second pair of mountain slippers. I picked up my first pair used and wore them for many years before they needed replacing. The replacement pair looks and feels great, BUT after just a couple weeks of wear the stitching started to unravel. I hated to return these because I love the fit, style, and warmth but they just aren't up to the quality standards I expect from this company.

First impression, they are beautiful. Love the color, they are warm. Now after wearing them just a week around the house, it feels like the interior sole is moving around. I cant say I would buy them again. Actually disappointed.

They're really good looking slippers and I wanted to love them but they were way too big (both width and length). I ordered my usual shoe size (size 6) and that's the smallest size available so I unfortunately have to return them.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but after wearing the Wicked Good Moccasins for 3 years, I decided to give these a try. They just did not measure up. The shearling was not nearly as plush and comfortable and broke down very quickly, within a couple of weeks, which let me know they were NOT going to last 3 months, let alone 3 years. For another $10, you better believe I was going to be getting another pair of Wicked Good Moccasins and hoping for a longer relationship. The look of the slipper is fantastic but the comfort just cannot compare.

I have purchased house shoes from LL Bean for at 5+ years. I have always been satisfied until this time.
One shoe is too big the other shoe fits ok.
If they are all like that, i would not recommend

I have an allergy to wool so I needed to purchase slippers with a faux fur interior . The selection is limited. The pair I purchased were recommended by the salesperson. He did not have a sample so I purchased based on the lack of wool. The slippers are "clunky". The soles are similar to the bean boot. Far to heavy and not flexible for a house slipper.

After ordering my usual size 9, I needed to exchange these slippers for a size 8. After trying to wear these, I found the heel too big and my foot would come out of the slipper unless I wore thick socks -- which is not something I want to do with slippers that I put on right after getting up in the morning. I also found these slippers unsupportive, making my legs feel tired after an hour or two of wearing in the house. Ultimately, I found them staying in the closet while I wore the old, tattered slippers I was trying to replace. I don't recommend these slippers based on my experience.

Picked these up after the last pair started coming undone. Asked for them to be repaired, and they don't do that anymore. Got store credit, but was told that it was an exception as it had been two years since they were purchased. Tried another style with the credit. Had them a week before the stitching started to let go, again. Will be returning them for another pair, but not impressed. Either need to bring back a real lifetime guarantee, lower the prices, or increase the quality.

I have had these slippers less than a month and have probably worn them 5 times. They are just okay. The fit isn't perfect but for a slipper I thought they will do the job. This morning one was noticeably loose and upon closer examination, the stitching is already coming out. Now I can get a needle and fix it myself, which is what I will do, but I shouldn't have to for what these cost. Just cheap construction. I was disappointed. I thought I could count on LLBean's quality.

I normally wear a 7.5M. I ordered a 7 and loved them out of the box, they fit perfect! After a month or so, they were really stretched out and now my feet slide a little in them. I do wear them a lot, but I'm really shocked at how well they fit to now too roomy. They could use more padding. I don't get why bean makes such expensive slippers but thinks everyone wants to feel barefoot. I bought my husband the $109 slippers, and the soles are not very different.

I love the look of these slippers and I thought they were going to be a big win. I like the sturdy soles and the classic look. I have a wide foot and they seemed to fit great at first. Sadly, after wearing them for a few days they rubbed sores on the back of my heels. I thought I needed to just break them in a bit more, but even after a few weeks my heels were sore from how the slippers rubbed. The next time I am in an L.L. Bean store I'll be returning them. I'm bummed they didn't work out.

I ordered these and was so excited when they arrived. Within the first couple of hours the seaming on the side of the slipper unraveled. I was so disappointed, and immediately contacted customer service. They were wonderful, and sent out a second pair right away. When I received the second pair my husband and I were about to leave on a trip to Seattle so of course I threw them in my bag. I wore them all day that first day, and once again the stitching on the side of the slipper unraveled. At this point you might assume I have an unreasonably fat, tall, or large foot. I actually have a very narrow size 7 foot! I was late in returning both pairs of slippers, but L.L. Bean still refunded me the full amount.
The first pair of slippers fit like a glove, however the second pair they sent felt a half size too big. It seems a lot of other reviewer's have had difficulty with the slippers running too large, if I were to order again I might heed their advice and order a size smaller.
I do have this to say about the whole experience, L.L. Bean's customer service is some of the best around. I wouldn't blame anyone for wanting to give any of their products a try. You know when you order from them that they back your purchase up 100%.
I however, will not be ordering a third time. It's a shame because I live way out in the country where cold feet are almost impossible to avoid, and that rubber sole is perfect!
Twice bitten, thrice shy.
