Ordered a size 8, wear an 8 1/2 in shoe, and they fit perfect. Extremely comfortable and supportive.
Medium to narrow foot. Very easy to put on with the extended loop, located on the heel end. These can be used outside to grab the mail or quick dog walk in the yard. Oh yes, warm too!

I wanted them to wear around the house. Could use a little arch support.

This slipper is very comfortable yet provides the support I was looking for. I can wear them around the house all day without my back hurting. The insole in not glued which allows me to insert my orthotic "lift". I ordered my usual size and it fits just fine. Very satisfied.

Returned the wicked good lambs wool slippers for these. So sorry but these are way 'more wicked'. I guess its the shape, a more rounded toe-box. The fit is right on. Ordered an 8, wear an 8 - 81/2. Very warm The soles are more like an outdoor shoe so I'll have to be careful not to wear them to the store.
The inside is a 'fake' wool but is fine.
There are no stitches, pokey things, or tags to make them uncomfortable.
Quality is LLBean!

After reading the reviews of this item, I decided to order a size 9 instead of my usual 9.5 - 10, and I wish I hadn't. They are snug enough that they pinch in the back. Otherwise, they are great. They are warm, comfortable, seem to breathe well, and I love the sole. No slippery slippers for me!
I'll probably swap these out for the size 10 though.

These slippers are warm and feel like a really comfortable shoe! I have tried inexpensive store bought slippers and they all either have zero support or a tag sewn in somewhere that rubs or a seam right across the toes. These are worth every penny. I wear them to take the dog out, take the garbage out or walk to the mailbox. LOVE them so much I'm ordering another pair to keep at the cabin. I wear a size 7 1/2 or 8 depending on the shoe but according to some reviews these run slightly large. I ordered a 7 and have plenty of room to even wear socks if I want to.

I'm really happy with the moccasin-style slippers. I purchased my usual size 8 and found them to be snug the first day. But after that- perfect. Warm, comfortable, a bit of arch support, a plain style that suits me, and they have nice soles for going outside for something. Also, they are a less expensive option compared to shearling lined slippers. I wear them every day.

I bought these for my daughter, but now I want a pair for myself. They are warm and cozy, but also comfortable and have a durable sole. Great slippers!

I have a bone spur at the back of my heel, which is very painful. I bought this shoe because I could take the insole out and put my orthotic insoles in. This shoe worked great! My feet feel great in them. There is no tightness on the top of my foot, because of the orthotics. I wear a 9 1/2 and ordered a 10. Plenty of room and not falling off my feet.

For many years I have bought and worn your wicked good slippers. They are great. But I was so tired of tying laces and having puppies chew them I looked for slippers without laces. I found these and they are comfy and have good soles to go in and out with the dogs. I would like wicked good slippers without ties but till you make them these are fine.

I've never had Bean slippers, or paid this much for slippers. I wanted to try these because I was tired of flimsy slippers that didn't support my feet, and would fall apart.
SIZE - I wear a size 8 shoe (sometimes 8 and a half), but usually a 7 in slippers. Thanks to the review with picture by Chitowngal77, I went with size 7. When it arrived, it fit nearly perfect, just a little snug. The literature that came with it, said that the slipper would stretch to the shape of the foot. Sure enough, it did in just a couple days. They are very comfortable, do not rub the back of my foot, and do not flop, when I walk. I put large on the slide-bar for length, because if I had went with my shoe size, they would have been too big.
COMFORT - I have been wearing these for 3 weeks, and they have remained comfortable. The inside, including underneath the stitching, is lined with fleece. So, with my pair, nothing is rubbing my foot. The insole is removable and cushy. The bottoms are sturdy enough to go outside. The slippers really support my feet, so they don't roll to the side.
The Shale Gray is nice, and I feel they are good looking. I also like that there's no tie to come undone (had it with those!). I'm very happy with these, and might buy a second pair, in the other color. If anything changes, I will provide an update.

I got these slippers in dark cement and I love the rich brown color. I bought these now for winter but have tried them on and worn them around the house and they are so comfortable. I love these slippers, they are definitely worth the price. I would buy them again in a heartbeat. If you want comfort and warmth, these are the slippers for you.

I was very concerned when I learned that LL Bean had just stopped carrying the slipper I've been wearing for over 25 years. This slipper I'm reviewing is similar, so I went with the flow and gave something new a try. Change is hard when you've been loyal to a product for so long. Leave it to LL Bean to sway me to a new slipper and have it turn out to be even better than my old standby. They are comfy cozy and great quality; my new standby! So you're on the hook now, LL Bean, to provide this product for a loyal customer for the next 25 years!!! I'm counting on you.

This slipper is perfect. It is warm, comfortable, and it fits my foot well. I wanted a slipper with a back that didn't slide up and down or off as I walked. This is it. The slate color is nice. There is no smell to the slipper from leather dyes or tanning processes. I just received these comfortable slippers and I can tell already that I will be wearing them all over the house and out back with the dog.

I was tired of wearing slippers with ties that never stayed tied. When I saw these slippers I decided to try them. These slippers are true to size and as comfortable as any slipper I have worn. I love the color and can not say enough for the perfect slipper.

The color was different looking than the catalog and one part of the stitching came loose after the first wearing.

These were a gift to replace worn out Wicked Good slippers. They come up too high on the ankle to quickly step into, the back wants to fold in. Also, the soles are loud on wood floors in the morning. They're okay, but don't like them nearly as much as my old slippers. Hoping LL Bean brings back the Wicked Good ballerina style next season.

Comfortable, warm and cozy. Keep my feet warm even in the coldest weather. Only downfall is the more one wears the shoe, the looser it becomes.

Indigo is a nice color BUT I had to buy sz. 8.5 bc the 7.5's sold as 8's didn't fit. Size 8 has to be the most popular size and LLB has (literally) shorted us!

Warm and comfy but too wide so a little difficult to walk in these.

cozy and sturdy. I will have these for a long time, like my last pair (14 years!). I had to exchange for smaller size. Unfortunately, the exchange did not give me the extra 10% off I had on the original purchase.

Very cozy, good slipper for running outside to get the mail too! Wish it was offered in 1/2 sizes though. I have one foot slightly larger, so while the shoe fits one foot perfectly, it's a bit big on the other.

Really like the slippers with "minor" reservations. Had to return first pair b/c it was way too big; and ordered 1/2 size smaller. Much better in length although still too wide to wear without socks. So, not "cozy" but definitely comfortable. Like the soles being non-slip.

Loved them as a birthday gift from my hubby!
Unfortunately, they ran a little small. I always wear a 7.5 or 8, and the right side slipper was rubbing my big toe too much to be comfortable. Sent them back to exchange for a different size. Looking forward to getting them!

The sizes run large and there is not much sole padding. I was hoping these would be comfortable to wear around the house and outside to fill the bird feeders, etc. but they are huge and the inside padding is almost non-existent. I should have returned them immediately but I thought I could live with it. Frankly I'm not sure if I would buy another pair even if I got a smaller size.
