I am a true 5 which is a hard to find size. In slippers I realize that they may be a little tight at first then they loosen up. These were never tight. They were loose to begin with, more like a 6, and after wearing for about 15-20 minutes they got even looser. More like a 6 1/2. I have a replaced ankle and need the support. To add insult to injury, when I returned the slippers I found they were not going to give me the full refund. My reason for returning the slippers is L.L. Bean's fault. Not mine. Lorraine Vogel

These were very nicely made, but they fit like a man's size 8 rather than a woman's. Could they have been mixed up? Mis-marked? I wear a woman's size 8- 8-1/2, and a normal width. These were huge on me and very wide. Not sure what happened here, but returned them.

These slippers are nice so long as you don't need to walk around in them. Then it is like a bare feet experience. There is no support, no insole. It is a raw piece of plastic. Sure it has fluffy stuff, but that is soft to the touch, not anything to serve as a barrier between your feet and the ground.

The left slipper is wider at the toe than the right, so slips at the heel. My last pair were the most comfortable slippers ever (I still tend to head to these rather than the new ones), but these have less padding or something so feels like I am walking on a harder surface. I tried two different styles, but they were a no go. I will keep these and get some inserts or something to try to make them more comfortable, but for the money I'm disappointed and won't order these slippers again.

I have bought these for my husband and son and they were wonderful. Within 3 days of wearing mine the sheathe was coming out. I went to tie the string and the hole on top split. Very dissapointed in the quality in this particular pair.

My regular shoe size is between 8 1/2 and 9, depending on the style of shoe. I read all the reviews suggesting to order smaller size than normal. I haven't worn a size 7 in anything since I was a very young girl but I believed the reviews and ordered the 7. I couldn't believe the slippers were still too big and once the lining settles down, as it always does, they would have been falling off my feet. They really looked like nice slippers so I would recommend to a friend to order perhaps 2 sizes down.

The back looked like it had been stepped into and was crushed. I didn't have time to return the pair as I was leaving for Europe the day after It was received. I just return on January 30th. I like my pajamas, but was a miss sorry to say. Don't have the box anymore, but was charged on my amex card.

I ordered these moccasins expecting to travel with them during the holidays. The moccasins are warm and functionally I am please. Ii am recommending with the cavet that Bean corrects the issue. There is NOTHING wrong with the shoe except the issue outlined. I paid over $75 for these shoes. One shoe-- the lining was not sheered around the tongue. Circumstances required me to use them so I am not able to send them back. Now I am in a position to clip around the tongue myself. This is a serious quality control issue and not what anyone expects from LL Bean.

I am disappointed with these slippers. I had a pair of the wicked good traditional slippers which were amazing from a few years ago. These are rough and rub against my ankle. I noticed there is not nearly as much fur in these mocs compared to the other model. I had my suspicions and checked the tag, low and behold, "Made in China". There you go, I thought I was supporting a business where they lived up to this whole made in the USA vibe they had going for them. Had I known they were made in China just like the rest of the slippers out on the market, I would have saved myself the trouble of buying them and now having to return them.

I purchased an 8 originally. Returned for a 7, which fit. Unfortunately, the stye I ordered wasn't available in my size for a few months, so I ordered these. They matted down pretty quickly. I tried several times to upload my photo, which shows the matting after 1 month.

The length felt accurate, but my heels would slide out every time I walked. Very soft, but couldn't wear. Had to send back.

I love these slippers but they just do not seem to hold up for me. This is second pair already for this winter!

I'm a size 7, so I ordered that size. Unfortunately, they are wide and slipping off the backs of my heels even with socks on, and I prefer to wear slippers without socks. Hopefully, I can return & try on a size smaller in store to save on shipping & the hassle of knowing if a full size down will be too tight.

I was so disappointed. These slippers were ok lenght wise, but fit like a man's slipper. They were bulky, too wide and very wide on the heel. I couldn't keep them on. I have a regular size foot width wise, but somewhat narrow heel. Also, but the price, a better insole with an arch would be great. In other words, more cushion. I could tell they would be warm, but comfort is also very important. Sorry, but that's how I felt. I did just return them.

The moccasin fit a little too big. However, the next size down is too snug. Wish there were half sizes. The salesperson in the store told my daughter to tighten the lace a bit so she wouldn't slip out of it. When she did the lace made the hole really big. We are in trying to get a replacement and see how it works. Therefore, we are undecided.

Having had wicked good slippers in the past several kinds I anxiously awaited my new ones as my old ones were so worn. I kicked them off and thrust my foot into its cosy new home ...wait they are rough and scratchy not cushy like my old ones The lining is thin and rough not the soft fluffy sherling I've come to expect. Did I make a mistake ordering wicked good moc instead of slippers? I need to wear socks with these bah humbug

I couldn't wait to get these in the mail, my old slippers also LLBean, were on their last legs and I was looking forward to new holiday slippers. The first pair arrived and I could tell by looking at them they were large.. had at least an full inch behind my heels. Called they sent out a new pair.. thinking they had been mis sized.. and NO they are still at least a full size too big. Don't know if all the sizing is messed up but these are NOT A WOMENS SIZE 8! So sad, not holiday slippers for me!

I wear a 7-1/2 shoe size. Since there are no half sizes and it is required to go up to the next whole size, I ordered the size 8. It was way to big in length and width. I then exchanged it for a size 7. This time it is a little short on the length and it rubs against my foot on the width. I understand that it is not made in the USA so there might be a problem with sizing. I am very disappointed and will have to return the moccasins.

The slipper is comfortable and warm, that is all it has going for it..the ties keep coming untied, which is annoying..also, if you don't keep retying them the slipper falls off...not one of the best items, and I would not purchase it again..

The fit is as expected but the fur isn't as thick as my other pair and it packed down flat, pretty much, with little wear. The suede/brushed leather upper isn't as thick as my pair I bought last year. It is rather flimsy without the body in my older slippers. I have been thinking of sending them back but haven't gotten around to it. If I'd have been able to try them on first, I most likely wouldn't have bought them. They were on sale, though, so I would have been on the fence at the reduced price. They're here--I wear them once in a while--I wear my other slippers every day, all day long when I'm at home. I am pretty disappointed with my new pair.

I have owned these slippers previously and have loved them and their craftsmanship and quality. They lasted at least a couple years. This last pair I bought began to pill shortly after I received them. Within 3 months the lining for the bottom has largely come out and you can see bare spots down to the bottom. Not a product I would want to spend $75+ on, more like $10 with that quality and need to replace frequently.

I haven't worn my slippers for 6months (usually just around my hosue) and the stretched out where I now have to wear thick socks, the fur on the bottom started to peel off after about 2 months and then the seams were coming out. Do not think I will be buying another pair.. disappointed.

I have tried these slippers not once but twice and the inside fleeces wear down or comes out fast. The first time it actually wore out near my toes and it was rubbing painfully. Now one entire slipper has almost no fleece inside. I would expect better from LLBean that this.
