In October, Sgt. Cotton posted on the Bangor Maine Police Department Facebook page about Officer McCarty's Wicked Good Moccasins.I read the post, and although we couldn't afford them at the time, I bookmarked the post to easily find it. I knew I needed new slippers and my husband's slippers were getting to the end of their life cycle. On Cyber Monday, LL Bean ran a pretty good sale and I could afford one pair. I got my husband a pair because a few weeks early he had mentioned that his slippers had finally worn out. They arrived and I gave them to him as an early Christmas present. I went to bed early, and the next day, after he got home from work, he expressed how much he loved them and wished he could wear them to work. Everyday after work, he would put them on right away. Last week, I ordered my own pair and had noticed that his slippers weren't where they usually were. I panicked, thinking our puppies got them. I looked everywhere before messaging him. My husband, despite the dress code, had started wearing his slippers to work. He has an IT desk job, so no one noticed, until yesterday. His supervisor finally noticed, but we had already discussed ordering appropriate works shoes from LL Bean just because he loves the moccasins so much. My slippers arrived Tuesday night, and they really feel like pillows for your feet. With having circulation issues, not only are these comfortable as all get out, but my feet stay warm instead of ice cold and numb.

These moccasins were truly wonderful! Very soft inside and good quality materials inside and out! Loved the plum color :)

Because I have had foot surgery, one foot is larger than the other and will stay that way. However, I still ordered a 7, a size smaller than my shoe size(a very narrow 8), and they are working out perfectly. The slippers are warm, well made, with a sturdy sole, and are perfect for a colder clime. I get the paper in the morning and put out the bird feeder even in light snow in my slippers.

I'm not much of a slipper wearer, but I am so glad I purchased this pair. Before buying, I read some of the reviews and this helped me order the right size. Even though I wear an 8.5, I purchased an 8. They are perfect! The feet are snug in the slippers and the more I wear them, the more they conform to the foot. Because I keep the temperature in the house cool, having my feet toasty warm is a plus. Now I wear my slippers every day!

My dog ate my slippers and I was sad to have to find another pair, but these are better than the ones he ate! I live in a very cold climate and need to leave my boots at the door and switch to slippers; these are super warm, cute (I got the gray), and have enough structure for my troubled feet. I'm totally happy with them!

I was pleased with this purchase, my wife loves the comfy slippers. She wears them around the house mostly without socks, and they keep her feet warm and dry. She can also wear them outside if I decide to go somewhere and she doesn't want to take the time to change into her shoes. I think L.L. Bean has good quality products, not just these slippers, but their other products also. I recommend these slippers, the lining is soft, keeps feet dry, they don't usually sweat when wearing them without socks.The outer leather is soft and of good thickness and quality.

The moccasins are the most comfortable I have ever had. The lamb's wool is so warm. The down side is that unless I have to leave the house or yard, I wear them. It is tempting to go shopping with them on!

I never usually buy shoes online because I have a very hard time getting them to fit right. I am a size 10 and always have a problem with the toe box being to tight. These slippers fit great the minute I put them on. I wear them in the house because my floors are very cold. These keep my feet cozy warm. Initially the fur in the bottom bunched up funny but after wearing them a few times they have molded right to my feet. They are sturdy and look great. I bought the purple ones but now think I want a 2nd pair. I highly recommend these slippers.

I don't know why I waited so long to treat myself to toasty warm feet. I wear a 9 and they are a perfect fit. I like that they have enough structure that your foot does not roll over the sides of the foot bed but are still flexible enough to lounge in comfort all day. I look forward to slipping into them as soon as I get home from work. An added bonus is the sole is durable enough to handle short outdoor trips to the mail box or late night doggie calls of nature. Best gift to myself ever.

Got these for my daughter-in-law for Christmas and she absolutely loved them! She said she may never take them off!

I love these slippers! With our hardwood floor, I needed something that I could wear only in the house. These are great whether summer or winter. They do run a bit large so I ordered a size smaller. I have a wide ball and narrow heel and they fit great. They conform to your feet.

These shoes said backordered until Jan. 7. I got them in the mail two days ago and it is the highlight of my week! My feet won't freeze when I go visit family in New England for the Holidays! Thank you LLBean!!

These slippers are terrific. The soles are great - flexible but a little something to keep you from slipping, and the lining is warm and comfy. Generally I don't like laces but these are okay. I thought they would come undone all the time but so far that is not the case. To my taste they would be absolutely perfect if they didn't have laces at all but this is the next best and great for the price.

These slippers are amazing. I look forward to slipping my feet into them when I get home everyday- they are that comfy. Real sheepskin is levels above faux fur; I wish I had made the jump to quality slippers years ago. My feet do not get sweaty like they did in cheaper slippers. I like that these has a rubber sole, but the sole isn't so thick that it seems like a solely outdoor shoe. Good support as well and the fluffy interior has held up very well after two weeks of constant use. The outside of the slipper is sooo soft. On fit: I have medium to slightly wide feet and found these to be comfortable fit. Regular to slightly narrow feet could probably adjust to the ties for a tighter fit. If you have very narrow feet, maybe try the kids' version? They lack the rubber roles of the adult version but are still nice- size 4 kids slipper fit lengthwise but was too narrow for my size 6 women's foot. LL bean- I would love buy another pair of these slippers in a different style. Please size down some of the men's offerings. Chukka style slippers for women would be awesome- I love these so much, I'm already thinking about getting another pair Basically, If you are thinking about buying these slippers, do it!

Beyond comfortable and warm! Perfect fit!

I've had a few styles of Mocs. These are certainly not the daintiest-looking ones, but I love that these have a bit more coverage of the foot, making them feel nice and warm for a quick trip walk to the library or the grocery store on a cool dry day. Note, however, like most Mocs, these have minimal heel support, the "arc support" is neglegible, and hence are not suitable for long distance walking. Another thing is that they look slightly wider than I hoped for. Nonetheless, I love how the fur lining pampers my feet.

I have been wearing LL Bean wicked good slippers for many years but these moccasins are even better than the slippers. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. The purple ones are really cool. I go to many parties in homes where they ask people to take off their shoes or boots. I will take my new moccasins to wear to these events. Even though they have soles, I will not wear them outdoors. I may have to buy another pair because I like them so much.

These slippers live up to their name. The interior shearling lining are warm without making your feet clammy and hot. The soles are sturdy enough to run errands in around town and/or walk the dog. They slip on and off like a glove. The exterior leather is handsome enough to be mistaken for a regular pair of shoes. I wear a 7 1/2 but ordered a 7 on the advice of another review. They fit perfectly so they do run a little long. If you are a 1/2 size I would order down. (as opposed to ordering up as LL Bean suggest)

Both my wife and I have had several pair of these slippers and will continue to purchase new ones to replace them when they wear out, which is a long time. Everything you would expect from LLBean.

These truly ARE wicked good! These are my second pair...I wore the first pair out over a period of several years....they are great indoors or out...fit perfectly....couldn't live without them!!

I had Lands End moc slippers for a couple of years an the rubber soles had cracked and the footbed was exposed. Meanwhile, my partner's LL Bean slippers were the same age and looked good as new -- so I decided to switch to LL Bean. I'm glad I did! I ended up buying the lavender pair. I'm not a huge fan of the color, but the slippers are durable and so comfortable. Note that it is not really a "slip on" slipper -- I have to put them on like shoes, though this may be in part because I sized down instead of up (I am an 8.5, and bought a size 8). Not my preference for slippers, but I'm getting used to it, and the leather may stretch over time. All in all, such a great purchase!

Love these slippers. I know I will be warm all winter. With rubber size I can run out to get the mail.
