I love the boots and especially the color. I walked 3 miles a day in them during bad weather and found them comfy. The only thing was I got a blister on one ankle which I solved by wearing an open foot compression thingy. It worked well. All in all I love them!

Fit well and comfortable. Keeps the snow out and my feet dry!

Well made. perfect in the snow ! No sliding or slipping. You get firm footing and the boots allow you to move thru the snow fast. They are great height and firmly hug your ankles/feet. They are JUST terrific ! i bought them in Plum, and they are cute. Heavy and keep your feet warm & dry !!

I was in need of warm snow boots, and these boots are just that. They are excellently made, are very warm, and are comfortable, despite them being a little too wide for me. (They also still need to be broken in a bit; the boot is still a little stiff.) Regardless, I would recommend them.

These babies got a work out in the winter weather! A little big, but great with thick socks. Very warm and great tread on bottom.

Perfect for this season's New England weather. They look sharp! I wear a 8/8.5-39 size. These might run a tad large because the 8 fit me perfectly with a moderate weight sock on. My foot runs a bit narrow, so width was very comfortable. These boots have a felt bootie inside which I could replace if necessary. Great safe tread!

I ordered these boots to keep my feet warm for walking or spending time outdoors doing moderate activity. I usually wear size 7, but had to return the 7s and reorder size 8, and still may not be able to wear really heavy socks with them. They're a bit clunky and stiff, but I expected that with leather uppers and thick liners. They may soften with time and wear. There's no way I can drive a car with them- they're much too stiff. I've given them 5 stars, but walking in deep snow yesterday, I collected snow above the lacings, in the space where the liner tops meet and it went down into my foot. Perhaps thicker, taller socks will solve this. I love the purple color, and would recommend them to anyone wanting warm winter boots.

I bought these boots more because of the style and how they looked. Little did I realize they are the warmest boots I have ever worn! They work well when clearing snow from my driveway, sledding, or just wearing out for a walk.

I am loving these boots! I had a similar Bean pair for about twenty years. They were fantastic. When I needed to replace them, I went with another brand. Mistake. I have froze for the past two years ! Ordered these and they are WONDERFUL ! Bring on more snow, I am ready in Indiana!

This shoe was well made and pretty to look at. However, the furry inside was crushed down. My main problem with the boot was that it was very heavy. I'm 78 years old and was going to wear them to shovel snow. I did not try them on.

Boot fits snugly in the ankle and heel. Very comfortable to walk in. Have worn for hiking on trails in our local park. Very warm. Only disadvantage - fit so snugly I need another person to pull them off. Well worth the money. Best boots I have ever owned.

These boots are extremely warm. I was a little hesitant to purchase boots this expensive but it's been well worth it.

I read all the reviews before deciding on this purchase. They are great boots for hiking in the snowy woods in the Vermont winter. I wear a pair of wool socks with them and my feet stay toasty warm!

I love these boots! They are very comfortable, and I love the colors. They seem to be true to size. Packaging was the best I've ever seen. I live in Florida, but go back and forth to Ohio, so the boots will be great during the winter muck.

After returning some other boots I am Soooo glad I purchased these!! Comfortable, warm, true to size and do not rub my ankles which a lot of boots do! They are a little heavier than I am use to, but no complaints. THANK YOU!

I really love the color and warmth there going to last me years to come there very comfortable too I have a wide foot as well so it's a plus to find a winter boot that accommodates this with all there wonderfulness to boot win win

They run a size large. I wear a 9 in normal shoes and I got an 8 in this boot and fits great. Maybe an 8.5 would be even better. So choose one size down from what you wear normally. They are heavy duty, warm, soft inside. To those who said its stiff like a ski boot or just clunky and heavy...well, I'm sorry but these are not meant to be house slippers. These are legit snow boots. Nothing is getting through these babies. I wear them with thin socks and my feet are toasty, no need for thick socks.

Growing up I wore a size 8. Once shoes and boots began being outsourced overseas, 8's were too short and narrow. These 8's replaced my very old 8's, LLBean clunky snow boots. They are not a fitted, dressy boot. So a size smaller than a dressy shoe would be a suggestion. Might need a thicker sock for narrow feet. I love them for walking the dog and trudging through the snow. They are snow boots. They are warm. Just what I needed.

I bought the blue ones and loved them so much I bought the grey ones as well. Very well made and durable. Yes they are clunky but I would expect that from a snow boot. Very happy with my purchase.

Going to Alaska to do some night photography and want to keep feet warm when the temp in in minus 30-40 range. My wife thinks this boot will work fine

Boots arrived when promised. I like the height of the boot. Roomy inside. Like the 'sherpa' lining and covering at the top of the boot. Looking forward to using them for many years to come!

I really love these boots. They are warm, keep your feet dry and are super comfortable. I bought these at a store location and I am glad I did because I was able to try them on. I am a 7.5 and ended up purchasing these in a size 6. (They were on a super sale over the summer and only had a size 6 left.) I would have gone with a 6.5 if available - I am wearing thin socks but that is OK because they are super warm! I also purchased the Stablicers Traxx Device and it is the perfect addition for my daily dog walks on the ice and snowy dirt roads. My feet are warm, dry and happy! Thanks LLBean.

Light for winter boots, keep my feet dry and warm. Best winter boots I've ever had !!!
