I ordered a size larger after trying a different type slipper and these fit much better. I don't think I needed to order the extra size up. The material stretches naturally and they are very flexible. They are truly wicked good-very comfortable and durable. I have fallen in love with L.L.Bean!

I bought these slippers to replace a pair of 6 year old LL bean wicked good scuffs. I wore them so much the fleece wore away near the heel. They are great, durable and super cozy. My husband has a pair too.

I gave these slippers as a gift & the person loved them They said they were warm & cozy I couldn't get over how quickly they arrived with free shipping .They actaully arrived a day earlier then quoted

This is my second pair of scuffs and I ordered one size up to stay inside the slipper at the heel; it really wasn't necessary. I ordered a dark pair this time to keep 'em looking a little nicer as I wear them day and night, year-round!

the perfect combination between great look and confort. Not too bulky though warm on your feet. everyone in the familly has a pair.

The scuffs fit well if you go at least a half size down. They feel great and the sole is solid enough to go out to get the morning paper, if you are one of those who still gets a paper! They are cozy and comfortable and I will wear them until they are no more!

I bought these slippers to take my dog on quick trips outside. I live in Minnesota where it can be quite cold, and I think these will be great until it snows. They'd probably work fine outside if your sidewalk is shoveled, but since the back is very low (these are true slip-ons) you would get snow in your shoes otherwise. The soles are easy to clean while still providing good grip. I have only been using them a few weeks so I can not comment on their durability.

These scuffs are the best! I tried another Bean style, but I'm so glad these are back again. The outer sole covers the whole bottom of the slipper...no ankle-turning dangers with this one. Also, the sole is thick enough that I can run to the mailbox without worrying that they'll be ruined. I ordered a size smaller than I usually wear, as I've found that's the best route with all the shearling footwear because it tamps down with wear. Very Happy!!!

I have been looking for these slippers since moving to my current (cold) midwestern city. Something that fit well, did not have ties or extra decoration to flop around and trip me, covers my foot well while still being a slip on and is made of real shearling that will last and be truly warm, in a dark color that won't look dirty after a month of wear. This slipper is all of these! I got the chocolate brown and it is a beautiful color, and the suede side of the shearling is smooth as butter. The fleece side is thick and warm. I had hoped that the shearling would be similar to my LL Bean shearling boots, and it is! There is fleece lining the bottom of the foot too that forms to my feet as I wear them, but doesn't get packed down and lose its loft like faux shearling does. I tried on last seasons women's wicked good scuff (I think they discontinued them) and it did not fit nearly as well as this one. So this is worth a try if you did not like those. This one is true to size in both width and length. I am an 8.5 or 9 depending on brand, and I got a 9 in these that fits perfectly. It seems like a lot to pay for slippers but I know these are going to last for years, so over time it will be worth it to not have to buy a new pair of cheap slippers every winter.

This was a replacement for my cherished three year old pair of wicked good scuffs. I wear them everyday even in the summer months. It is so nice to have a new pair that feels like an old friend already. You can not go wrong with these scuffs.

Slippers are a great value. Very comfy, plush and warm.

These are warm and I especially like the sole on the bottom.

At first, I was a bit skeptical on paying the price for slippers - now I'll never purchase any other slipper (I'm currently considering another pair, but don't know why... I can tell these are going to last a while!)! These scuffs are amazing. As soon as I slipped them on, my feet "sighed" with happiness. They're super soft and extremely well made. The only problem I have is that I'm a true 7 (narrow) and these fit a bit big for me. BUT, I would still highly recommend these to everyone... the ads don't like - these are wicked good!!

I cannot say enough positives about these slippers! (normally do not write reviews, but, I will on this one). Yes, they are that good! So comfortable that I have worn them (sorry to admit) nearly all of the time around the house-inside AND outside, so one can imagine what they have been through. They are plush and keep feet dry. No other shearling slippers out there on the market can even compare and I believe that there is something about the handsewn piecing that makes them a cut above. I have also bought the Mocs and they were equally as wonderful! Lots of shearling, too! I normally wear a 71/2 and the 8 fits perfectly so I would say that they run a hair small. Yes, they are supposed to feel slightly snug because of the thick shearling (in the beginning), but still think that they are made just a little small. I asked and you came through; Thank you LL Bean for bringing back the scuffs!!!

Great slippers to just slip your feet in! I work from home, so pretty much just wear slippers add day long! I have been buying cheap slippers and wish I would have just bought these to begin with :)

I bought these a year ago and have worn them everyday pretty much they are starting to wear out though stitching has come undone in two places trying to decide whether to try something else

Slippers are very nice. Well made and I expect them to last for many years

Product looked great, but unfortunately it was too small, so we will be returning it.
