What a gem! Works great for camping, strolling on a trail, or general every day use. Keeps me warm during fall in Seattle!

This is one of several I have purchased over the years for my Outdoor working man! They take a beating and last several years. Superior craftsman ship and materials! I have recommended numerous times.

This is Christmas gift so not much to say but in past items have fit perfectly. I bought 3 reg and 1 tall..

Wanted something for fall work, but turned out to be too dressy to use in t yard. I dont want to get it dirty. Looks sharp ... sweatshirt is dark blue and goes well with LLs button down blue plaid shirt and khakis. Toasty warm. Though it is susceptible to dog drool. Pockets could be larger for celphone. I really love it and glad I ordered it. r, Tom, Eustis.

Just what I was looking for! My son is just going to love the sweatshirt for Christmas! It's hard to get him to wear something without holes. He's a Wildland Firefighter so his clothing needs are quite slim. He lives in sweatpants and this along with new pants are just going to be perfect. The flannel is just lovely and the sweatshirt seems like it will be warm!

Great quality sweatshirt! I don't know how you could improve on it. With the zipper front and the lined sleeves, it's easy to throw on for a quick walk.

This sweatshirt--I think it's misnamed, should be called a jacket--has almost no artificial fabrics--it's mostly good, old-fashioned cotton. It's warm enough for cool to very cool fall days, looks good, and fits well. I'm trying to stay away from artificial, oil-based fabrics, so if you are too, this is the one for you.

I really wanted a high quality flannel lined hoodie that both looked great and keeps me warm. This does both of those jobs really well. I don't feel bad about paying full price for it now. One thing to note: The flannel lining doesn't run the length of the sleeves. There's a smooth black fabric, probably some sort of nylon, there. So your arms may not stay as warm as your torso. We'll see how that works out for me this winter. It's roomy enough for me (5' 10" 195lbs) to be able to layer but not so roomy that it looks like I'm swimming in it. I could have probably gotten a medium and have been fine but it would have been tighter and I would probably have to worry about it shrinking in the wash. (Side note, don't dry your hoodies in your dryer if you don't want the warped wavy zipper look. Air drying them is the way to go.)

My 15-yr old son thinks this sweatshirt is wicked cool, and wicked warm. He will probably only take it off when it needs to be washed! Good for after soccer practice, or just hanging out around town this fall. Thank you for helping this mom get appreciation for at least one thing I've done right lately :).

Excellent quality & design, but it fits small. Recommend one size bigger than normal.

I really like this hoodie sweat shirt. It's soft and very comfortable. It's also nice.and warm when I don't need a Winter coat. However, would have liked inner pockets and a designated cell phone pocket.

I think I inherited my love for a good sweatshirt from my father. I've been wearing Bean's fleece lined hooded zip sweatshirt and it's held up for the last couple of years. This time I chose the flannel lined and love it just as much except this year you've included the company logo on the front. The only thing I would change is to remove the Bean logo from the chest. If you need to include the logo, then place it down by the pocket, otherwise, please leave it off.

My son loves this! A seam inside the sleeve lining starting coming apart the 3rd time he wore it though. I'll repair it because my sons doesn't want to send it back. He'd prefer it did have such a prominent label.

I really hate what has happened to the sizing of clothes these days. That includes just about anything online. One place the XL is real close to an XXL. And the next shirt or coat from the same company the XL is barely larger than the L. It is a mess out there. And L L Bean is no different. Be prepared to deal with it. I had this jacket 12 years ago and loved it and layered up under it. Today I have to layer up on top of it. Very form fitting. And just to be clear from those wondering minds, I was at the doctors last week and I had lost 6 pounds.

Excellent quality; warm, loose comfy fit. Would be even better if the sleeves were also flannel-lined -- that's the one design fault... Please make a version that's fully flannel-lined, like the one you sold 10, 15+ years ago... that was the best ever.

RE: Men's Katahdin Iron Works Hooded Sweatshirt, Flannel-Lined, Tall I bought this jacket for my husband for Christmas. I selected the navy tall in XL. The jacket fits well everywhere except the back waist band. It's very loose, and baggy! Not a good look. My husband is 6' 3" and he couldn't believe the jacket was XL tall. Looks like a regular size!

I feel this is not as heavy as the ones I have purchased in the pass I have one that is over 20 years old it is starting to rip apart but feels much heavyweights still happy with my purchase but it seems like what it happening in our world pay more get a little less

I like this jacket but I really really wish it had zippers on the pockets, and that the pockets were a little bigger. Seems to run a bit large.

Well made though I hoped it would be a bit heavier

Well made with heavy fabric. Inside pocket is handy for keys. It's not great for skinny people as the body is baggy.
