I can't decide if I prefer this as a sleeping shirt, something to lounge about in on chilly days, or on very cold days, a base layer. As a base layer it is suitable for the coldest days and not for mild days or days filled with a lot of exertion. I tend to overheat in it.

This is the fourth fleece top I have purchased for my husband. They are light weight, yet very warm. He wears them like a sweatshirt or sweater year-round. They wash well, do not fade nor shrink. True to size. If they are restocked in other colors, I will purchase two more! We elderly Mainers feel the cold more and these are the Best!

Lightweight, comfortable. I should have bought a size larger as it's a little tight across the chest. But fits true to size.

Have a black one now that I wear every day because if it's insulating factor with a shirt or jacket. Never thought I'd use the thumb holes but that didn't last long. Thumb holes & gloves and you'll never be cold or uncomfortable again.

Picky husband asked me to return it at first. Now it's his favorite base layer. So I got him more.

I have bought a couple of these for my husband. H+The medium fits him perfectly, they are very well made, great quality and look nice too.

this does what it's supposed to. . . . keeps you warm. I wear it over a t shirt. and guess what? it does not fit like a sack like the other micro shirts from LLBean. the neck does not hang down making me look like a "turkey-neck old guy."

I haven't given the fleece base layer crew to my husband. He will open the package on Christmas morning. My gut feeling is that he will really be happy to have it because his body temperature runs on the side of 'cold.' He likes the feeling of fleece. I hope it is true to size...

for my cold house i wanted something warm. i wear this every day now.

Just bought my 4th one for my husband. He loves them. I also have one. Advertised as base layer shirt but he wears then like a sweater. Warm. Light weight. I wash it and line dry it. Never shrinks or stretches. Perfect year round.

I think we have bought 5 of these. If more colors get released we'll probably get more! We like how they are a bit thicker. Also soft to wear against skin.

It might be called a "baselayer" but it's wonderul as a light fleece shirt worn over a long sleeved T shirt. Perfect to wear all day every day in chilly climates. I have been wearing the 100 % wool base layers at twice the price for years. but I think this is actually better for warmth and comfort.. and it's washable without a lot of drama.

Warm and soft layer to help when in cold conditions. I ordered a medium, as LL Bean usually runs a bit large. I am 5'9", 198, lifter.

Fit and quality is excellent, very comfortable and warm. Washes well. Second one I bought (different color).

Son is hard to please when it comes to clothes. Took a risk on this one and it's his favorite shirt! Cozy and warm.
