These are great for HIIT and cross training, like orange theory or gtx at lifetime. Seriously love them!

These are the cutest shoes and look great on BUT they squeak like an old staircase. It's embarrassing and I've got to just throw them way. If you order, I hope you have a better experience.

My daughter got a new job and was on her feet all day. She got these shoes and it really helped alleviate her leg and foot pain.

In the never ending pursuit of an all-purpose shoe for Orange Theory classes, I purchased the Solimar. My normal shoe size is 7.5B; I bought a 7.5 and an 8 based on comments that the Solimar runs narrow and recommendations to size up. Because the shoe is a neutral shoe, it's a good solution for my very high arches and supination. I like the shoe for its weight, look and moderate cushioning. It's not as plush as the Clifton (my favorite running shoe); however, the Clifton I find is too spongy for lifting. The shoe does run narrow; however, a larger size simply added length that I didn't need. The shoe upper is stretchy so when cinched in snuggly, it definitely doesn't look wide enough since my toes are bulging out of the shoe. Because it's so flexible, I don't feel a lot of support during lateral movements. I returned the 8 (Oh my gosh the return process couldn't be easier!) and kept the 7.5. I didn't have the same issue as others commented regarding the tongue of the shoe being irritating. I like the shoe but am still on the hunt for a better all-purpose shoe. I tried a couple of times to upload a picture to show bulging toes but the site just kept spinning.

At first I thought - these are great, but as soon as I started actually doing things I realized that there is not enough foot support for me. Too squishy for work outs like TRX, boot camp, or weights. I need more full foot support. I returned them.

I ordered these in December and have worn them almost daily. After just two months, I noticed a hole in the inner heel area. I've never had this issue with other brands and didn't expect it from Hoka, especially given the price. I expected better quality and am disappointed.

They are nice shoes but they are not as comfortable as I thought they would be, maybe I need to try a different kind

I prefer the Clifton and the Bondi for long walks and shopping. The Solimar is good for local errands. I am currently waiting for delivery of two pairs of Bondi.

The shoes are beautiful. Lots of compliments. The sad thing is after standing or walking for my shift at work I have two blisters on one foot and my feet hurt. I can't wear them for work which is why I bought them. A lot of money for shoes to be worn for a quick outing

Not as comfortable as my Bondi 6, Bondi 7 and Clifton , very little support. Okay to use them for shopping and errands, not for long walks.

I've bought 4 iterations of hokas, and this one is just not up to par. I like the plain black styles with the less of a sole, but the ones ive liked in the past have been discontinued. This one fits the physical description of what i like, but the insert feels hard, and the fabric around the ankle was super rough, like if i wasnt wearing a soc that fully covered my ankle, i was going to feel it. That just doesnt happen with my other pairs, that fabric is much more silky. I get that it is one of their cheapest pair, but it still costs 125---i expect more. Unfortunately I wore them a couple of times and got caught in a torrential downpour, so I cant return them. I would NOT recommend this style.

Fits longer than other Hoka styles, yet feels narrower in the toe box. Doesn’t really feel like a Hoka. Not as cushiony or supportive

I have difficulty finding shoes that fit well in the heels. These Hokas are comfortable and supportive, and they hug my heels when I laced them all the way up through the last holes.

I love HOKA's. I liked the smaller profile of the Solimar, but it just seemed too narrow. May try a wide if I can find one. The Wild Indigo/White color is really pretty.

This is my 4th pair of Solimars. 2 pair I wear regularly, 2 back up pair in case Hoka quits making this style. I really like the low profile of these shoes, and the subtle plain upper color choices. The flashy colors and huge platform are not for me - consequently have never purchased Hokas until recently. They are pleasant to wear for daily walks, comfortable, stylish with jeans and shorts, and provide adequate support. Ankle, knee, hip, and back pain were exacerbated by another very expensive brand. All virtually resolved when I started wearing the Solimars.

Size 9 was a better fit than 9 1/2 for me. Had been reluctant to try Hoka shoes for walking bc of the clunky oversize style and flashy colors. The Solimar are much more like regular walking shoes - lower sole, neutral colors, easy on & off, and for me, better feel of the terrain/path. Good feel, moderate support, comfortable, and low key appearance. Wish they were washable.

Love my shoes. They run a half size to big. I normally order 7 and ended up with 6.5 wide after buying three pairs and returning two.

I needed new shoes for Zumba, I read a review that said these shoes are good for such activity. I have tried it and they are my shoes for Zumba! I have also tried it for walking/light jogging and these shoes are really light and cushioned for both activities. I thought HOKAs had a high/thick shoe padding, but this is not the case for the Solimar. I would imagine these shoes would be good for traveling, walking or on your feet all day, but this is not my intention for this purchase.
