These are mostly used as my casual about-town shoes, but I have also used them for running. I frequently get compliments on these shoes. Sizing is consistent, I have two other pair of Hoka shoes in the same size. I normally wear a size 9 in Hoka, Merrell, and Cole Haan. My foot is a bit narrow and the regular width fits well.

I wear these at the hospital for rounding, at the gym, for city walks, and change them to my other hOKAs to hike.

I walk 5-7 miles a daily

perfect size of toe box - plenty of room.

I'm a nurse and I'm on my feet for more than 13 hours a day. My feet appreciate wearing Hokas. I guess I do too. This is my 9th pair.

Of my dozen pairs of Hokas this shoe in black and white is my absolute favorite. More colors please!

First thing that caught my eye about Kawana was the style and the available colors. I have not used them as much as my other Hoka's because I have not been out as much due to the pandemic. I have used them for walking and every day use. I love them.

Changed my life for the better

I am currently on my second round of 75 hard ! And I got these shoes about a month ago bc I was experiencing some pain on my left foot, needless to say I am no longer having this issue and absolutely love them, they are so comfortable and my foot don't hurt at all, I wear them for strength training, walking , and riding my bike ! So glad that I was able to find these and much appreciation to the ladies at True grit in fort smith for helping me out !

These are my fifth pair of Hokas, and although I didn't think the Bondi 7 or Gaviota 3 could be beat in their support and comforts, the Kawana delivered even more comfort. I was skeptical because the Kawana did not come in a wide, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Kawana is my favorite Hoka so far. I have arthritis in my left foot from an injury. Hokas have given me the support I need enabling me to walk for fitness.

These shoes are very comfortable and look awesome! There's not as much cushion as Hoka's normal shoes, but there is cushion. They feel sturdy under the foot and the upper is very flexible. I can easily use them for lifting weights and doing some cardio afterwards. Very glad to get these shoes! Thanks Hoka!

I play tennis but have foot problems. I can't seem to find comfortable tennis shoes so I tried these since they seem to have what I need for that sport. I have worn them once and it went well. If they continue to be comfy then I'll upgrade my rating after a few more weeks. I have other Hokas that I wear for zumba and running dog agility and I love them!

I'm actually considering returning item. Not pleased at all! Material lose on front part.

Great shoes, think they're finally nearly broken in. First day was tough, feet were sore. Week 2, better, but had my toes actually go numb during a workout! I'm hoping they'll continue to break in and become my fave shoes!

Bought these primarily for walking. They take a little getting used and run a little snug. Hoping once they are broken in, they will be more comfortable.
