Will keep (for shorter walks). Not as bouncy (no shock absorbancy as Bondi 7 my favorite. Toe box is snugger on Gaviota. I walk 5 to 6 miles 4 days a week. Need that roomier toe box like Bondi 7) Not sure if these shoes will cut it. Also have the Bondi 8s which have a really wide sole, good shock absorbancy, but narrow cut fabric and small toe box. I wear size 9.5 D. Each style has a different cut and feel. I have 7 pairs of Hoka's. Arahi 6 is okay. Mach profly okay. Might have to shop for a new shoe with another company. Please bring back Bondi 7. Disappointed.

Got my shoes Tuesday evening, Saturday morning they broke. Waiting on exchange currently before I can really wear my shoes.

Worn the last version of this shoe and loved it. This version definitely runs, at least 1/2 size small, if not, a whole size too small. I tried to wear them twice with no luck. Now, I can't return them. They need a longer return policy than 30 days especially when you pay so much for a pair of shoes. Very disappointed!!

I thought it would have more plush like the advertising says. I do like the frame work, helps with balance and correction. I can feel the framework on the bottom of my feet as if they were a cheap sneaker. I would suggest more comfort under feet like gaviota 3. I'm definitely sticking to gaviota 3. I will use them for gym for balance. Not all is lost.

Love the cool color but sadly had to exchange since it runs large. My foot was sloshing in my normal size. Exchanged for my usual Arahi.

This is my fourth pair of hokas. I feel like the manufacturer has changed the way that the hoka gaviota is made.
The gaviota 4s are now bigger and more volume so it feels loose. I used to feel very supported having flat feet and wearing my tennis shoes. The gaviota's used to do very well for my pronation. with this new style of gaviota I am disappointed Thank you

I do not like these shoes. I was fitted at a local running shop but they didn’t have my size so I ordered them from Zappos. They are clunky and do not bend when walking. Not very comfortable and very pricey, but I love Zappos!

This is my first pair. Although I love the support and fit, after only one week at the gym, I'm very disappointed to report the tread on the right front of the right shoe under my toes peeled off.

I thought these help a bit with the foot pain I've been dealing with. They are comfortable shoes, just disappointed that my foot pain has worsened since starting to wear the shoes.

It's a nice looking shoe however, it's cushion is like no cushion. In addition, this shoe is not meant for any supinators, it's for pronators. It is true to size.

I really liked the look of this shoe (esp. the black vertical stripes embedded into side of sole, which lessens the white over-sized marshmallow look). More importantly, the "plush" footbed is a necessity for me. I love the Bondis. This shoe did not work for me as the odd footbed causes my foot to rock forward and put pressure on my metatarsal. After a short time, I felt a growing ache in the metatarsal area, and realized whatever this shoe is doing, it is not designed for my foot. It runs smaller than Bondi, at least in the toe box and the way it is designed, it causes my toes and ball of foot to slide forward. It felt like my toes were slipping off the edge of a rounded cliff (hard feeling to describe), and causing my toes to hit front of shoe. The rest of the shoe felt great, so sent it back and ordered half a size up. It fit better for the toes, but that rocking feeling was still there, and it added pressure to the metarsal, which then begin to ache.
Nothing wrong with the shoe. The shoe itself seems comfortable, and for someone without metarsal problems, would probably work fine. If you have metarsal issues, see my further review below re Bondis. That may be the shoe for you. It is for me. I can even run in them without pain.
I have plantar fasciitis and a painful right foot metatarsal injury that rears its ugly head when I do any sort of impact exercise without proper padding. Before discovering Hoka Bondi, I had to buy up to 1.5 size bigger, so I could layer multiple padded insoles *and* my orthotics. So I was buying 11.5 size in other brands. Bondi plush sole eliminated all this pain, and I was back to size 10 and no additional padded soles.

These shoes are supportive, but in no way plush. Wondering why HOKA calls them plush. If you’re looking for cushion go elsewhere.
The Bondi is somewhat supportive and is plush, but please HOKA widen the toe box a little. I don’t have a wide foot and by the end of the day—ouch.

Shoes were beautiful and fit well but I think I was sent a pair that had already been worn :( so I exchanged them and waiting for (hopefully) new ones to arrive. Bummer because I bought these with a gift card my son got me for my birthday and it turned into an ordeal.

I love everything about these shoes. Except the toebox width. I've owned the wide Gaviota for over a year now MAKING my feet try to fit. As a result I'm having lots of problems with my feet now. I've tried other brands that are out there with wide toe boxes but they do not have the support and the cushion that these have. What a shame I thought I might've found my perfect brand. I would go to a wide men's but my foot size is too small. I guess the search goes on

I have worn some of the other Hoka Shoes but the Gaviota 4 rubber on the soles is "Chipping" in places and I mainly wear them indoors at my Assisted Living Job. Comfortable but not happy that this is happening. I have only owned them for about a month.

I loved the colors and style of this shoe, but the arch support actually hurt my foot. No worries though, Hoka made an in person exchange super easy, and I'm happily alternating now between my two favorite Hoka styles, with plans to buy more soon!

I bought these Hokas on recommendation from many friends who rave about them. I wanted to like them. I have a very narrow, high arched foot and needed a shoe to help keep plantar fasciitis from flaring while I’m working on my feet. My feet swam in the 6.5 which is my normal size. I know these shoes are great, just not for my feet.

I do like the wide sole. This helps with pronation! However the model I purchased doesn't have a squishy comfy insole like I was hoping for. Beware and read the description of each model carefully!

I purchased this style as an alternative because my ideal style choice, Arani 5, was unavailable. The Arani 5 is the ideal shoe for me but it has been unavailable. I've also purchased the Arani 6 as an alternative, but I don't like the fit and feel of this style either. Since the Arani 5 continues to be unavailable, I may have to purchase a different brand of shoe. Please let me know when the Arani 5 is available for purchase again.

My shoes are 2 weeks old. One week into wearing them the tread part of some of the sole started to pull apart. They have a warranty but it doesn't state what is covered and the time I have to take to find a USPS is annoying.

Loves my first Hoka shoes, Arahi 6, these were my second pair. This arch was a little higher but my feet still felt good at first. After wearing them for a couple weeks, my feet didn't feel happy. I put on my originals and had that great feeling again. This company stands by their product, I was able to exchange after wearing. I ordered another Arahi 6. Each shoe is meant for a different foot and they realize that just trying on isn't the same as wearing. I'm a big fan of this company and my original shoe. This particular shoe isn't for me but it's simply not a good match for my foot.

I have had my shoes for 5 week and the black part of the sole is already coming unglued. So I question how long they are going to last. For the price I would expect much better Quality.

These are well made and very cushiony, but the "Regular" width is too wide. I've worn a solid B-width shoe all my life, but my feet were swimming in these and even with them tied as tightly as I could, I got a huge blister the first time I tried to wear them. Wish they worked for me!
