I have high arches, high instep and wide toe box and these give me great support and best of all, no squished toes. I did purchase them in wide.

Supportive for pronators who need arch support and lots of protective cushion between you and the ground. Not a sink in type of soft cushion. Working well for past issues of plantar fasciitis, insertional achilles tendonitis. Slightly too big on me in length and width but decided to keep and wear thicker socks as I am so tired of my last New Balance feeling too small. I’d like more subdued women’s color choices but the brand is flamboyant color. Dark pink/purplish color is ok. Color makes them more feminine as I am not used to my feet looking so bulky. But the comfort and injury protection rules! Also like that the soles are partly gray, not all white.

I have worn Hokas for 10 years.
Started with the Bondi.
Changed to Gaviotas a couple years ago as I needed more stability.
I am keeping these shoes as they are a perfect fit but I know they are a “returned” pair as the soles are a bit dirty.
Guess I’ll need to order directly from Hoka.

I work as a pharmacy tech so I am on my feet all day mostly. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes and my feet were constantly hurting all the time. I have had these shoes a little over a month and my feet very seldom hurt! I'm ready to buy my next pair!

I'm a nurse and am on my feet for 12-13 hours at a time. I love these shoes! I always use Superfeet insoles and at first they squeaked terribly in my Hokas (a problem I'd never encountered with other shoes). But I heard if you run a candle on the hard plastic part of the insoles it helps. I tried it andvoila! No more squeaking. These shoes are so comfortable and help me last through a shift. Plus, they look a lot cooler than my old brand. Thanks for making a pair of shoes that actually provide stability without looking like my grandmother's walking shoes!

I was looking for a comfortable sneaker that would provide great arch support and help with my arthritis in my knees and hips. I walked over 11,000 steps the first day I wore them and they were a lifesaver.
I got the black on black and love how they fade into the background. I also love how the HOKA logo isn't as visible because everything is black.

I have these in black. Just bought the blue ones for the summer. I think they've even been improved since the last ones. So absurdly comfortable- makes me wonder why all shoes can't feel like this. All shoes should feel like this!!! I walk about 4 miles a day, and I'm old with arthritis and various other delightful maladies of age- and I'm sure I wouldn't be able to be as active as I am without Hokas.

I enjoy Hoka stability shoes in general and the Gaviota 4 is my favorite so far. It is described as the Bondi of stability shoes and the cushioning is in fact amazing. But so is the stability. If you like a substantial shoe that is both technical and good-looking, you may well like this shoe.

I have suffered with plantar fasciitis & was told by my podiatrist that part of my problem was over probation so I ordered these and waited several months to write my review because I wanted to be certain in my Review. They do exactly what they need to do for over pronation. I just don't believe I have that issue and so they really bother my feet. I the Bondi X and will be returning to that shoe now that I know for sure these are not for me.

I love the support this shoes gives. I've owned many running shoes and these are by far the best support I've had! I wish this shoe had a bit more softness in the pad, but I think the firmer support is needed when you have plantar fasciitis.
I did order a half size up but maybe could have even gone one full size up.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have owned. I do a lot of walking and these really feel comfortable since I first put them on. They are true to size and the colors are beautiful. I get a lot of compliments on them, I will definitely be buying more!!

This is a really nice shoe. I'm not a runner but I work out regularly and needed a stable shoe. It has a generous toe box which I need. I still have to use my heel nserts which make it a little snug but the fact that's its a little on the wide side helps. Very comfortable shoe for every day wear.

I ordered the Gaviota 4 because I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot. With the wide width of the toe box and the "max cushion stability" my walks have continued with greater distances and increased comfort. Highly recommend!
