I used the size finder on goals website and they told me to go up half a size. My toes hit in the wrong spot and my feet are killing

I read the reviews, all of the 4.5 - 5 star ratings and was really looking forward to putting on a pair of HOKA shoes. Man, was I sorely disappointed. These shoes have turned out to be the most uncomfortable things. The longer I wear them the more my feet hurt. There is not the slightest bit of flex to the sole, they feel hard on my feet, no cushion feeling what so ever - is that the way they should feel? I literally hate them.

I have been wearing Hokas for about a decade. Started wearing them to resolve my plantar fasciitis issues. Have been pain free for years and now my PF is back since wearing this Arahi model. My last 2 models have just not been as great as the originals and I'm afraid I'm going to have to look at alternative brands. :(

I love Hokas. They are the best shoes for my plantar fasciitis. However, the last ones I ordered were the Arahi 6 Wide. They are not as wide as my regular Bondis.

Very nice shoes but do not order these if you have a narrow foot. These are extremely wide shoes! I also always wear a size 12 but these were too short so maybe if you order these size up. I hated to return but no choice, wish they were right for me.

I bought the wide shoe, but these are still too narrow, especially in the toe area.

I've worn these for several 12hour shifts now and every time I come home with inflamed plantar fasciitis pains. They're super cute but I think I need to try a different style to see if the pains go away.

This is the first time buying this style and they are killing my feet. I thought maybe I needed to break them in more but that doesn't seem to be the case. Is there anyway to return?

The person who the shoe was purchased for stated it is uncomfortable and it is the exact model that your website recommended for her as she has fallen arches.

Just over 30 days of wearing my Hoka Gaviota 4 and the eyelet broke as I was lacing up my shoes. I see my Arahi 4 have the same design and can feel the eyelet opening on them also. This is not a great experience with Hoka and I am disappointed with the quality of the plastic on the eyelets.

Wanted an every day comfortable shoe that was washable. I have a narrow foot. Loved the look and color of these. Many of the styles of Hoka shoes are very wide for me and I often felt like I was wearing a clown shoe. It's hard for me to find shoes that don't fall off my feet because they are just too wide, even a regular width. These are ridiculously narrow!! These shoes must have missed the quality control step because I don't know how they would have made it through! Non one has feet this skinny. Oh, and did I mention I have narrow feet? BAD design Hoka!!

I bought the Arahi 6 in December. The soles have heavy wear and tear, and the lining has ripped around the heels to a point where I am getting blisters wearing them to walk. I wasn't even running during that period, so I am very disappointed by the poor quality. I've bougt Hoka's for years, and I am going to have to shift brands.

I purchased these for my wife. She loves her Solimars but this shoe was tight and uncomfortable for her. Wasn't true to size. We returned them.

I have about 14 pairs of Hoka's because my feet are so bad. These are the least comfortable shoes I have gotten from them. For almost $200 I was highly disappointed

In short: Great shoes but if you need to exchange them don't. Just return them and order again, it will be faster and more reliable. Long:As someone who works as crew in the film industry HOKA shoes are a MUST for many of us since we are on our feet 12+ hours a day. I finally decided to make the splurge since I am heading to a travel shoot for a couple months. The shoes feel amazing and put my legs in proper alignment and I am someone who has very bad over pronation and even a collapsed arch on one of my feet. At first the only issue is that they ran a little small so I exchanged them for a half size larger. Process seemed easy, dropped them off at usps and waited. After 2.5 weeks I had not heard anything and the tracking my on their website was not working so I decided to use the live chat. I spoke with Quinn and they said they received the items on 5/31 and I would receive my new items in 5-15 business days. Then on 6/3 I received an email saying my return was received, I didn't think anything of it but was a little nervous since I was leaving for my trip on 6/15 and wasn't sure if they would come in in time. I went to the chat again and spoke with someone else (can't remember their name). I was told that they got the shoes on 6/3 and one of the exchange items was out of stock and I will be issued a refund. No biggie, I asked when I would receive the item that was still in stock and was told that they cancelled that order. When I asked why I wasn't told the response I got was "they're unsure but probably because one of the items was out of stock." Then I asked why I wasn't notified that my order was cancelled and I was told that the email saying my return was received was them saying it was being refunded even though nowhere in the email did they mention a refund or that my items where cancelled. It literally only said your return has been received on 6/3. Super frustrating. Now even if I reorder the shoes they won't come in before I need to leave for my trip.

I wish these shoes had worked for me. I love the sole design, and I am happily wearing the Recovery sandals, but the shoes were horribly painful and impossible to wear. The powerfully elastic lining (like a girdle) crushed my feet like a vise, causing agonizing pain even when sitting still with no weight on my feet. I tried on a much larger size, and the lining was still way, way, way, way too tight. Please make some shoes without this horrible stretch lining. No girldes for feet, please - just supportive shoes, not crushingly tight.

These shoes were light as a feather and I had high hopes but after only 3 hours of wearing them my leg and back began to hurt. I was really disappointed since there are so many reviews about how great these shoes are... glad I tried before I left to orland with bad shoes.
